They are very professional and definitely provide a safe, caring environment for all residents and family visitors.

There's a vast range of activities provided & residents are encouraged to engage in them. Brabyns has a social media account & it's great to see residents enjoying themselves & the interactions that they have.

Its the staff that make Brabyns the place it is, everyone is very approachable (staff and mgt) and we much appreciate everyone's efforts in genuinely caring and looking after mum, thanks!

I am really pleased with my mum's care at Brabyn's House. She has lived there for over 4 years and I cannot praise the staff enough. Mum is happy and loved by all the staff who look after her.They know all her likes and dislikes and help her to engage in as many activities as possible. They communicate really well with families and make us so welcome when we visit. I would recommend this care home highly.

Entertainment excellent and also the gorgeous food cooked freshly by the resident chef. Thank you to everyone involved.

Laundry issues with mix ups of residents clothing but can be rectified once staff notified. Activity days well planned out and organised, with staff always going the extra mile to make sure all residents and family members are included. Food choices good, portion sizes good and always look appetising.

The home is excellent and the staff are very good and attentive.

I have a good relationship with the home manager and staff are always friendly and helpful.

My mother Jean, has been with the home since 2021, the staff have always been very helpful to both myself and my mother. She is 98 with dementia and isnt the easiest person to help, but the staff seem to look after my mother very well. Given her many needs.

My parents are new to the home but have settled in nicely and enjoy the meals and love there room the staff are wonderful with them and this has made settling in easier as dad has dementia and mum has bad legs so couldn't manage any longer at home. The only thing that mums mentioned is there could be more activities and outings. All in all we as a family are very satisfied.

It could be improved by providing more daily activities! :)

Such caring staff, who carer for my mum's needs with empathy. She has lived at Beechwood Lodge for 3 years and the service has been consistently of high standard.

Dad recently became a resident, since then I cannot compliment the staff enough. Dad seems settled, calm & happy. This is due to the environment and all staff members being 100% true to the term care home.

Before entering Walshaw she was anxious about the change in circumstances but Walshaw and it's staff through their high level of care and professional approach have managed to look after all issues so that the anxieties don't crop up.
