So he arrived on monday by Friday I had to phone the paramedics to check on him because the decline in 5 days was very noticeable he ended up with a uti infection .
I visited him everyday and evrrytime I visited him he was in the same position stuck in bed . They never got him up in his chair once , he got showered once in a week . A tv in his room that had no ariel no remote so couldn't even watch that . The place is under staffed its freezing apart from the bedrooms , well thats if you can call it a bedroom . Very very poor home needs a complete shake up who ever owns it . Elderly deserve decent standard of care . To be clean , warm ,and have decent food to eat , thats just minimum care . If you cant provide the basics you shouldn't be operating in the care sector

I've been to Woodleigh a few times now. The staff make my room feel like a home from home, making sure I have a pressured airflow mattress and all the things I will need for my stay. Everyone is polite and efficient in everything they do for me. I couldn't ask for more. I really look forward to going into Woodleigh as I know I'm welcome.
They take good care of my father-in-law. He can be grumpy and they deal with it all really well. All the staff we've met are really friendly, helpful and caring to residents and visitors alike with all the great changes we've seen it just keeps improving.
We thank you for your kind review, I will be sure to pass your comments on to the rest of the team. We are continually working hard to improve the care provided to our clients across Catalyst and we are pleased to hear you are already noticing these changes. It is feedback like this...
My Auntie has lived in Woodleigh since November 2015. I have nothing but praise for all the staff, from the welcome by reception right through to management. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will listen to you if you need to ask anything. My auntie was very unwell went she went into Woodleigh but with the care, dedication and hard work of the staff she is quite well at the moment.
When you find yourself in a position to pick a care home for a relative it is very daunting and worrying as to whether you make the right choice but I have never had any doubts about my decision.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review, I am so grateful for your kind words and I am happy to hear that you are pleased with the quality of care your Aunt is receiving at our Woodleigh Residential Home. Our team continually work hard to deliver quality...
Woodleigh Care Home takes very good care of my Father. The staff, from management to individual carers, actually care about the residents and provide an excellent service. Ongoing training is excellent and turnover of staff appears minimal. Management always has time, even though we know they have not, for even the most inane questions from me or my wife.
We have been so pleased with the way that they respect my father's dignity and have accepted his foibles over the past fifteen months and we hope, he will spend more happy times there.
Activities and visits are constantly laid on for the benefit of the residents and we are looking forward to all the Christmas activities this year.
We cannot praise Woodleigh highly enough.
Thank you so much for leaving us this fantastic review, all of us here at Catalyst and especially the team at Woodleigh love to hear feedback like this. Our staff are constantly hard at work going above-and-beyond to ensure we continue to deliver high-quality care and experiences to all of our...
My Mum has recently passed away at the grand age of 96 years. During the last six months, Mum's health deteriorated rapidly. She returned to her home (Woodleigh) to die. The final months of her life were filled with love and care form the staff who attended her in a first-class way. I only have praise for the wonderful staff who cared for Mum and supported us as a family.

The service given to my wife was first class. It also took a lot of pressure off me while having a new gas boiler fitted. Give my regards to your staff. I would highly recommend Woodleigh.

My aunt is clean, comfortable and well cared for by all staff, efficient and nothing is too much trouble.
I find all staff very helpful and all are really nice, nothing is too much trouble.
My mum had two days respite we were both a little apprehensive at first but we were made very welcome. The staff were fabulous and the food is of a high standard. Even had afternoon tea and a vocalist. Excellent can't praise them enough.
Thank you, Elaine! We are delighted that your mum enjoyed her time at Woodleigh. We hope to hear from you again soon.
There is not a second of every day that I don't miss my mum and wish she was back living with me. It broke my heart into a million pieces when my mum had to leave my home and go into a care home but due to my own failing health and my husband's stroke, I had no choice. I thought my world would end but it was a blessing that I chose Woodleigh. The staff from management to everyone that works there has treated my mum (and myself) with such dignity, care, human compassion in every way possible that I feel humbled and blessed. They all not only consider my mum's dignity and respect but mine also. They have become an extended family and I love and thank each and every one of them. I wish everyone was as lucky as we are to have found them.
Mum has just been discharged from the Alzheimers clinic as she has been told that her memory has improved dramatically due to daily stimulation by the team at Woodleigh care home. She takes part in craft afternoons, coffee mornings, film shows, day trips out, baking, knitting, painting and singing. Mum says she has a reason to get up every day now. She has a good routine and now a healthy appetite.
My mother has severe memory loss and the staff have settled her in beautifully. Nothing is too much trouble and they have co-operated fully with my brother and I. The activity co-ordinator works so hard and is very caring. Mum seems very happy and is always sating hoe good the staff are.
My mum went to Woodleigh for respite care and then moved in permanently 3 1/2 years ago. The staff are very caring and understanding of her needs. She has a very poor appetite but we feel the staff cater for her more than what we expect them to do. The residents are made to feel that Woodleigh is their home and not a "care home". The management and carers are all very friendly and approachable. They keep us well informed about mum and the many social events being held at Woodleigh. We highly recommend Woodleigh for your loved ones.
Greeted by happy, smiling receptionists, they are extremely informative.
The Carers are positive upbeat people, genuinely care for clients needs, talking to clients, laughing, joking. Special thanks to activity team, there, persistence paid off. My father taken part
in Black Tie Event, Laural & Hardy Event, baking, games, crafts, music activities each week.
Special thanks to the Cooks, make fresh meals everyday, alternative options are always available.
The management team made a concertive effort to know there clients. This includes which side the client prefers to get out of bed to the clients daily rituals, the team spend time to know there needs & sense of humour.
Woodleigh Residential Home help my family & I adjust to father going into home, I receivedupdates. It was right decision to choose Woodleigh, where staff across the board genuinely
care.
