Care Homes Owned by Devonshire Care in East Riding of Yorkshire

It is a really difficult decision to put a parent in to a care home but I can honestly say that the staff and management at Goole Hall have helped us throughout this process. We feel that we now have extended our family with all the support from the staff. We now know many of the residents and their family and believe that we have made the best choice for everyone. I would definitely recommend Goole Hall.

Sadly, she didn't that milestone, but the metaphorical yards she did cover were the more bearable thanks to her GH carers & others. To them, one and all, we'll be forever in your debt. Xx

Excellent caring staff.

Mum has been a resident for two and a half years and her care has been very good. However, over the last six months or so it has been excellent. Thank you Goole Hall for all your patience.

The only problem I have had has been with the accounts department at head office, who seem to be disorganised at times, however, problems have been resolved.

Goole Hall staff are friendly and welcoming. They keep in contact with me about my mum’s needs and forthcoming events. I am so glad my mum is in such a caring, warm and safe place.

I'm more than happy with the care she gets.

My Mother was taken to this home after spending 8 weeks in Hospital after suffering a stroke. This place is hell on earth. When she rang her bell because she needed to use the commode or the use of a bedpan she was told to just do her business in the bed and let them know when she has finished. 3 hours later they came to clean her up. She had no pad on just a waterproof sheet under her which they just wiped after cleaning her up and she was left to lay back down on it. One night she had slipped to the bottom of her bed but because she has no use on the right-hand side of her body. She couldn't move herself back up the bed. She buzzed the staff for over 4 hours but no one came. She was given a jam sandwich for her tea every tea time, even though they knew she is diabetic and not allowed Jam. Thankfully we were able to get her out of there after 6 days.

My dad-in-law past away on 1/8/2019 in Goole Hall just want to thank all the staff for looking after him so well and making his last week so easy for him nothing was too much for them and we could go anytime we wanted and stay the night with him you don't get lots of good care homes but Goole hall is one of the best staff are lovely so thank you to everyone. x

Thank you to all the staff at Goole Hall for all the love you gave to my grandmother, especially in her last few weeks. They went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable and that we as relatives were looked after too.

I really enjoyed my visit.

I visit my relative at Goole Hall on a regular basis and the staff always make me feel very welcome and offer me a drink when I arrive. The care my relative receives is really good and the staff cannot do enough, not only for my relative but for other residents as well.

Keep up the good work and I wish you all the very best in the festive period.

I'm overall happy with Goole Hall. The staff are great. The building could do with some updates i.e the lift!

My brother is well cared for and staff are very friendly. Food is good. Overall we are satisfied with Goole Hall.
