Care Homes Owned by Devonshire Care in South Yorkshire

My mum had been in Mulberry Manor a few times in 2025 for respite as she lived with me. When I was on holiday or having work done on my house. Both times the staff were amazing, mum was well looked after. Unfortunately, in January, in hospital, she was given weeks to live. Mulberry Manor had a room for her so quickly, as I couldn't look after her 24/7 even with carers. Mulberry was less than a 5min drive for me and a 1min walk for my brother from his house. The care she received in the last week of her life (as weeks turned out to be 1wk) was beyond measure. Family was with her from morning to night, but knowing she had proper care overnight put our minds at ease. My family could not have asked for more from the staff and management. Thank you so much. Can't thank this care home enough. My grandma is really happy and really well cared for. The home manager is lovely, she is approachable and really helpful with any questions we have. The staff are also very knowledgeable and helpful. Food is lovely and my grandma has put weight on since living here, she is settled and comfortable. As a family, our minds are at ease knowing she is really well cared for at all times. My grandma came for respite but has decided to stay full time as she loves it so much here, I can not thank the staff enough for what they do

If you want a caring family atmosphere for your loved one then this is the right place to try!!!

This home may not be to Hilton standards but the care and attention given go way farer than material things well done poppy n Millie and all the staff entertainment lady Sharron is one in a million loved by all some residents see her and get up dancing it's amazing .

When Mum moved onto palliative care, the team provided compassionate, dignified support that went beyond what she received from the nursing staff at the hospital. I'm deeply grateful to everyone at Rotherwood for their kindness and for giving my mother comfort, dignity, and companionship in her final months.

We are welcome to visit, and the staff are all friendly.

Denvernshire care (Mulburry Manor) seems to be more bothered with money rather than the residents. Hardly any improvements have been made to the home and any decorations have been provided by the staff and residents families. There is no where near enough staff to deal with the upper floor where the residents are homed (dementia). They are rarely taken in to the garden, which has hardly any seating for the people that live there. When they do go outside there are hardly shaded areas. She pays nearly £1000 for her care and what she receives is disgusting. It's very basic and just covers the basic standard of living. Get up, fed and go to bed.

Rotherwood is a lovely small care home. The carers know all the residents and take time with each one. They give excellent care in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. The communication from the staff is really good. My Dad has settled in well, and I can't thank the staff enough.

My nan is really happy here. Just met the new manager and such a lovely person who can't do enough for you. All the staff are lovely and the residents are very well looked after.

I am always made to feel welcome when I come to visit my nan. My nan is always positive about the staff and they always are kind and caring. I met the new manger today and she was very warm and welcoming and even offered us a drink which was welcome due to the warm weather. My nan is very happy at Mulberry Manor and I know she is well cared for.

Mulberry Manor is a very nice place for my mum, and my mum likes it too. The staff and managers have made my mum feel very welcome. They are always there when she needs them and are very caring and kind. The rooms are very nice, and the staff are always there when my mum needs them.

Mulberry Manor, Swinton is a lovely care home that cares for the residents well all the staff are highly trained and the new manager is lovely and always approachable couldn't wish for better for my mum who is very happy and settled. The rooms are well furnished and clean and food is good and varied. Very satisfied.

I am so happy we chose this home for my husband. The team at Mulberry welcomed us all as a family and gave him an excellent home from home experience at what was a very difficult time. He was so ill, but the team worked wonders to make him as comfortable as possible, happy and get to know him. They definitely knew what he liked - ice cream and crunchy nut cornflakes. There was so much respect in how they treated him and always respected his wishes, in a personalised approach to meet his needs. The home became part of my life, and made us part of the "Mulberry family". Always someone around who genuinely wanted to know how we were all doing, how we were and let me know what he had been up to. The staff have made Mulberry a home that is built on love, in a caring family-centred caring environment.

I respect everything the care home does for my mother. In my opinion my mother is settled and thinks of them as her family.

I find the home a very nice clean place, the staff go above and beyond their care duties. They are very busy and work very hard, but always go out of the way for the people they care for. It's not a easy job to do. They genuine and they do a fantastic job

Rotherwood Care Home is an amazing place, I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give to my dad. Each member of staff not only show commitment to their care but also love and dignity to him. After arriving in August, initially for respite, he is now a full time resident as he feels Rotherwood and all staff have become an extension of his family. We, as a family, can relax knowing he is very well cared for, happy, well fed and comfortable. Thank you to all the staff at Rotherwood, you are an amazing team and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rotherwood as the first choice to have loved ones cared for.

The staff here are very friendly, facilities are always clean and tidy. My great grandad is very happy and feels at home whilst here couldn't ask for anything more, would 100% recommend for any loved ones needing to be taken care of.
