This home is in a large older style house. It is light, warm and well maintained. My relative has a lovely light room with an ensuite toilet & washroom but no shower. There are large lounges for residents and staff are attentive and responsive. My relative is poorly and in her room a lot but is well
supported day and night. Her medication is professionally handled. Most importantly we find all the staff including the manager warm, welcoming and very responsive. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Staff are wonderful and always happy and pleasant when they greet you at the door. I always feel welcome no matter what the time of day. I find Tudor lodge a very happy place, staff are always on hand to speak to and find they take a real interest in each
and every person that resides there. I will say without hesitation, if I need to go into residential care myself, I would choose Tudor Lodge

Overall, the home's atmosphere has been very welcoming, and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The manager and deputy manager were always courteous and helpful, allways had time to stop and chat and ensure the best care was given, even more so in my friend's last days. Keep up the good

We were over the moon when mum moved into Whitfield Rest Home, as our dad had received such good care there before he died. Everything lived up to our expectations. The management team are friendly and extremely helpful, and the care staff are lovely, kind and thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble.
The atmosphere is very welcoming, and there is always a smiling face when the door is opened to friends and relatives.

My mother was happy to go into Whitfield Rest home, as my dad was there before mum, so we knew it was a lovely home for mum to go to. Everything lived up to our expectations. My mother was in Whitfield for nearly three moths. Her care was excellent and the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful at all times. Great efforts are made to make the day go quickly, entertainments are put on and the staff are very pro-active.

The care, concern and friendship my mum is offered at Hatfield is very good. It is a comfort to us knowing that she is safe and understood.

During my first visit to Whitfield Residential Home, I have found I am always greeted as a friend, in a lovely welcoming manner. Staff cannot do enough to make my visit comfortable.
My dad is very happy and content and extremely well looked after, which is peace of mind for my family and myself.
The
accommodation is clean and well maintained and managed. Staff treat my father with respect and dignity and must have a great deal of patience and are so dedicated. Thank you!

I have generally nothing bad to say about Hatfield Lodge. Staff are excellent including management.
Food is good, rooms are good, the cleanliness is good and my mum has been there for a few months now, she likes it there.

I cannot thank the management and staff enough for the excellent care that has been given to my mother since the beginning of admission. The quality of care that my mother receives is the best that I have ever observed and I have worked in many residential homes. The environment is incredibly nurturing
offering kindness and love to all of their residents and nothing is ever any trouble even when they are at their busiest times. I never believed that I would see my mum so happy and so cared for before she arrived there and would recommend it to anyone who needs to make a choice for their loved one.

After attending a Mexican BBQ that was put on for the residents and their families and numerous visits, the staff at Whitfield were amazing and friendly and went above and beyond to make the day special and that everyone was happy. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was so reassuring to see my sister
and fellow residents so happy and content. I feel very lucky that my sister is in a care home with amazing staff and a truly happy environment.

I have just attended the summer BBQ at Whitfield residential home where my dad has been for about 3 months. It was a lovely afternoon with all the staff making sure the residents and guests had a good time, also a great singer to bring back memories.
So far this home has been great with my dad who
was very challenging when he arrived from hospital but is now much more himself, he is happy and the staff are kind and have been very helpful and understanding with me as I have found the transition to him being in care very difficult.

Witnessed a resident shouting and screaming from her chair. Care assistant stood directly in front of her, and shouted 'stop it, just stop it' repeatedly. I was horrified - this is not the way to communicate with any resident.
(I am a qualified mental health nurse).
She shouted this phrase several
times. My friend said that she often does this to residents.
