Overall Experience

Chegworth House cared for my mum during the most difficult time of her life, as she was living with cancer and dementia, and I cannot thank them enough for the compassion and dignity they showed her.

The nurses and staff were truly amazing. They never left my mum's side and treated her with constant

kindness, patience, and respect. She was never in pain, was always kept clean and comfortable, and was continually reassured. Seeing how calm and relaxed she was gave our family great comfort during an incredibly painful time.

What meant the most to us was the dignity they gave my mum right to the very end. She was cared for as a person, not just a patient, and that will stay with us forever. We are deeply grateful to every member of staff at Chegworth House for their dedication, compassion, and humanity.

My father was admitted to Chegworth Nursing Home the middle of Sept. until his death on Tues 25th Nov.
I cannot put into words how wonderful the home was. They cared for my dad with compassion and dignity. I cannot praise them enough.

Overall Experience

My mum resided at Sutton Court Care Centre for nearly 3 years before she sadly passed away. Putting mum into a care home was one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make. But my mum's alzheimer's was progressing and she needed 24 hour supervision/care which I was not in a position to provide,

so it was important to find somewhere that met my mum's needs and my own. I needed to know that she was being cared for properly, that those caring for her would be kind, patient and understand her needs and I found this with Sutton Court Care Home. Mum appeared happy for her time there, the staff are approachable and professional and I was always made to feel welcome when visiting mum. There are plenty of in-house activities for the residents as well as outings. During mum's last few weeks of life the staff did their utmost to encourage her to eat and drink, never giving up on her. Mum was treated with dignity and respect until the end.

Sutton Court Care Home was recommended to us by a friend when it became clear dad could no longer manage at home and when we visited we knew this was exactly the place where we wanted dad cared for. Every aspect of the place can only be described as excellent and we knew dad was in safe hands. We

sadly lost dad recently but the kindness and comfort towards us has continued for which we are so grateful and we will definitely recommend Sutton Court to anyone who like we were is needing a wonderful caring environment for their loved one.

Overall Experience

The staff take good care of my aunty. The management is brilliant as they understand circumstances and try their best. They respect the wishes and choices of the residents. I feel that my aunty can be a bit difficult at times but the staff have so much patience and compassion.
They always look happy

and cheerful which help resident who are feeling lonely.
My appreciation to the kitchen staff as they try their best to provide food that my aunty like.

Overall Experience

My mother has been at Chegworth Nursing Home for one and a half years. The staff and management teams have been consistently excellent in their care, nursing and friendliness. When my mother has been unwell, the nursing care has been immediate and I have always been informed. When my mother's weight

was dangerously low due to reduced appetite the catering staff produced a gradually increasing diet with food she liked the most, and with gentle encouragement to eat. This was successful and her weight increased to a safer level. My mother is encouraged to enjoy the time in the lounge each day but the staff respect her wish or need to stay in her room if she was unwell. When the weather is warmer she is taken out into the garden which she enjoys. We are very grateful to management and staff for their consistent interest and care for my mother. Nothing is too much trouble including social activities, birthdays and seasonal celebrations, as well as for family visits and enquiries.

I find the staff to be very welcoming and pleasant. The communal areas are well staffed and the food is fresh and varied. Wilma, the manager, is very engaging and professional in regard to my mothers welfare, as are the rest of her team. My mother is very happy at the home. I have never had an issue

Overall Experience

After losing my brother in June this year I felt I ought to contact Trinity Court to let them know how much I appreciated the care that was given to him.
I used to call the home at 2pm every day to speak to him, so at that time even now,
my thoughts are with him.
I felt the staff and I worked together

to try and make his life as happy as was possible.
I looked forward to my visits and will always be grateful to know that he was well cared for.
I was able to speak to his doctor and I could always contact Trinity Court if I had a worry.
Sometimes we chatted to other residents. I don't know this particular resident's name but she always complimented me on what I was wearing and always made me smile.
I know that it is not always easy to care for patients with multiple health issues. My brother needed 24 hours care but I felt confident that all his needs were met and his wishes were understood.
I think about him often and will miss him always.

Overall Experience

I wouldn't recommend the care home in all honesty. My father was there for a year and a half. Health massively declined, when it was fine while he was with me. ongoing health conditions were not monitored properly, and the correct services i.e ambulance was not called when he had refused to eat for

days, and he unfortunately passed away last month. The management is extremely money oriented and called me asking to pay money that was owed a week after I had lost my mum, overall very insensitive in the way that things are handled. All in all I have not had a good experience and would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I don't believe the cost justifies the level of care received.

My mother has been a resident in this care home and her care has been truly outstanding. The carers are excellent and always helpful, the physiotherapy team is very competent and the managing staff are extremely helpful and thorough. The care home are excellent at keeping us informed of any updates

regarding her, and they are well deserving of my 5 star. In conclusion, the staff at Chegworth are top class of delivering an excellent quality of care. Me , Mum & my family are so grateful for everyone at Chegworth care home and for the care showed to us as a family. I highly recommended them

An amazing experience, husband in for rehab after 6 operations abroad, 2 air ambulances and 2 months in local hospital. The staff & Managers Respectful, kind and friendly. My husband was unable to walk or manage to lift up from the bed independently. After wonderful staff effort and the best physio

Overall Experience

Sutton Court Care Home looked after my dad during the final 18 months of his life. I'm very grateful for the care they provided. His Alzheimer's was quite advanced when we moved him and I lived the other side of the world. The staff and manager were fantastic at keeping in touch with me, quick to reply

to emails, happy to answer questions and understanding of the distance. They set up video calls to speak to them or just see my dad. This meant a lot when I visited. I was made welcome and knowing he was well cared for gave me huge peace of mind.

Overall Experience

Now my husband has lived in Chegworth for almost a year, I thought U would post an update. I continue to be very impressed. Several times I have found the staff go beyond what is required. Recently my husband needed dental work - the secretary rang round to find an appointment, saving me the stress.

The exemplary manager arranged a helper as I would not have managed alone. The chef prepared soft food as he awaits treatment. The nursing staff are excellent at spotting health issues and provide treatment quickly. The activities coordinator does a great job of finding things to interest the residents, decorating the home throughout the year making it colourful and interesting. She even provided cards at Christmas and Valentines day for residents to give their spouse. The caretaker is very helpful - he even finds DVD's he thinks the residents will like. So many examples of staff going the extra mile. The carers are excellent and all staff are welcoming and friendly. A very caring environment.
