Most importantly, my friend has socialised with others, building such good friendships and communicating with others is what she needed. The wellbeing programme has made her happy again, I've not seen her so relaxed in such a long time. She's always presented immaculately which was important to her,
she always has a fresh manicure! The Wellbeing Team always ensure that my friend is able to watch the Sunday Service which means a lot to us. We have no negatives at all. My friend is so much happier since being at Ruddington Manor, enjoying all of the different meals with her friends, eating so much better than she has in a long time! Her mental health has come on so much, she loves the gardens and the team always make sure she gets time to feed the birds and spend time outside. The carers make sure she feels at ease, everybody is made to feel that they matter, my friend, her husband and us who are made to feel so welcome when we visit. Thank you to all at Ruddington Manor!

My rother and I would like to commend Ruddington Manor for the exceptional care the they provided for our Mum.
She was only a resident for 2 1/2 weeks, as her health unexpectedly declined very quickly. The staff did everything they could to integrate her into the Ruddington Manor community, but her
discomfort kept her mainly in her room.
The medical and social care from every member of staff that we interacted with, from housekeeping, through catering to nursing, was exemplary. The home itself is far more like a 5* hotel than a nursing home.
We cannot thank them enough and have no hesitation in recommending Ruddington Manor to anyone looking for accommodation for a loved one.

Let me tell you something about Care Homes - most of them smell deeply unpleasant!
Not Ruddington Manor - this presents more like a 5* hotel.
Our initial interaction with the manager was immediate, efficient and welcoming, and that sense of devolved solution-orientated team approach cascaded down
through all the staff with whom we came into contact. As a purpose built modern facility, it obviously has design advantages over some of its more dated competitors, but it's not just the building that makes the experience so good. - It's the people.
Mum needed immediate and constant end of life care, and Ruddington Manor delivered that.
Having quality kitchens preparing fresh bespoke meals is by no means a 'given', - mum's requirements were challenging, and they met them with grace and patience. Her room was spacious and well fitted, and although she wasn't able to make much use of the cinema room and outings herself, these are just great things for the patients. Well done and thank you

I found a very warm welcome and greeting at the front desk and then all the staff greeted and asked if I was ok. I found this very reassuring. The care provided by the staff was considerate, lovely and did not fall short in any department. The Grand is clean and secure. I found my mum was safe and secure

Having enjoyed the facilities in The Grand in 2024, I returned there in April 2025 as it offered medical and respite care that I needed following an operation. The staff were friendly and attentive to my needs, which contributed to my early recovery. Furthermore, I was aware of how gentle, kind and
caring they were to the dementia residents in the home. The management and staff were professional and understanding and responsive to residents' needs. The facilities and rooms are first class and I would certainly return for respite and medical care in the future.

From my first phone call at the point where we were struggling with home care, to the first meeting with a member of staff. We have nothing but praise for the staff at Ruddington Manor, managers, care staff, entertainment team, kitchen staff, porter and reception team are all amazing. Professional,
patient and very caring. They made my father in law feel immediately at home making his transition from home to residential care very comfortable. He was introduced to all other residents and staff and was made to feel so very welcome. They also did the same to myself and my wife. We were welcome anytime, the kettle always ready to make tea and always a home made cake available. The team looked after my father in law magnificently for the last period of his life, he enjoyed every minute, he made some wonderful friends and touched the hearts of many. We would highly recommend Ruddington Manor Care Home.

My good friend has been in Ruddington manor for about 6 months I visit him a few times a week .the day staff are very kind and always take good care of the residents. I don't see anything of the night staff but on a few occasions when the residents are being help to get dressed in the morning
thay cut corners and miss certain items of clothing which is annoying just a few more minutes of thought would make all the difference.

I am always made very welcome when visiting Ruddington Manor Care Centre. The team are very friendly, my husband is treated very well, if there should be a problem, it is addressed quickly. The home is very clean, there are plenty of activities for people to join. The food menu has plenty of choices
too.

I get to see my wife most days, so I get a good view of Ruddington Manor. The staff and care workers are fantastic but are always short at weekends. I have had the odd meal and the food is always very good. Overall, Ruddington Manor is a very good care home.

Walking into Ruddington Manor and not really knowing anything about home care. My mum was welcomed so lovely, and it's been the same every day the staff are not just caring to my mum but also caring to me & my family and knowing my mum is being cared for and safe is our main concern. The staff have
really wanted to get my mum's needs so they can help her join in with all the activities and seeing by the photos that are sen,t she has a smile on her face.

Good care ,food, entertainment, management, nurses, cleanliness, facilities etc, staff are kind and caring , in spite of poor pay, I do think all carers should be paid more, as it is difficult for all care homes to recruit staff.

My husband has now been at Ruddington Manor Care Centre for 8 months and I am so pleased that we found this wonderful nursing home. For me the criteria of a home is that it should be staffed always by kind people and I feel this happens here. This includes not just the manager and carers but all the

My father only spent a couple of months here on end-of-life care until he sadly passed. The care he received at The Grand was respectful, kind, caring and professional. Through my frequent visits I got to know the team who supported him. The home manager has managed to hire some of the loveliest people
I have ever met. Each time I left after visiting I felt confident and reassured that I had secured him a place in a good care home. It relieved a lot of the anxieties and guilt I felt about the entire situation. My father passed peacefully in early February but I will be forever grateful to the nurses/carers who made his transition from this world to the next an easy one. God bless you all.
