My Mum has been a resident for 1 year now, being one of the first to move in. From our very first visit, I knew Mum would be well cared for and happy. The staff are all amazing, the care and patience with everyone is reassuring. Facilities, activities and special events make this an outstanding care
home.
We are welcomed as one of the family whenever we visit. For Mum's 98th birthday last week they arranged for us to use one of the lounges, decorated with banners and provided an excellent afternoon tea, despite having a dog show and fete to organise the same day.
I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Waterhouse Manor, and would not hesitate to recommend the home for your loved one!

We moved my mum into your home after being in Hospital. Then being moved into another (totally unappropriate care home) We found your staff to be so very helpful and considerate to our concerns, they made this move so easy and settled Mum with friendly, helpful and caring staff. We feel so relived to
have Mum in an environment which she will enjoy and be able to call her 'New Home'. Thank you for making the process easier for myself.
Reply from Jan Gibbs, Regional Manager at Barton Manor

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are so pleased to hear that your Mother has been able to settle well into her new home and that this has made the transition for you all so much easier. We will certainly make sure that the whole team are aware of just how much their care and attention has been appreciated.

I am a friend of somebody who comes a couple of times a year to be able to see her relatives and friends. Every time we /I am made so welcome by everybody who obviously all care so much about all the people who are in permanently or in for respite. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Perhaps I should
be putting my name down now!!!

I had a good feeling as soon as I walked into the care home. Ben on the front desk was welcoming and helpful. After viewing the facilities I thought my Dad would like to be here and be well looked after. He has now been a resident for almost a month and he seems happy and content with his new home.
The process involved a good deal of stress, however Sorcha answered all questions and provided great reassurance. In the limited time I have had to visit all of the staff have been friendly and attentive to our needs. Dan was super helpful with sorting practical jobs in Dad's room.

It means a lot to know that their support made a difference during what we understand can be a very emotional time.

The home is very clean and tidy and staff are pleasant and kind towards the residents. The home understands the needs to each resident and help them lead a normal life at a time in life that can be difficult for them and their families. All the staff from front of house to carers, cleaners, and kitchen
staff work hard and are understanding towards family members and make you feel very welcome to come and visit and stay as long as you like. 5 stars for a good service.

I was impressed with the rooms and en suite etc. Ate there twice, unfortunately same day of the week, so same meal, but it was enjoyable. Not sure of any activities, never witnessed any. Collected him today after a 2-week stay, and the staff had packed up all his belongings. When I got home, unpacked,
I had half the clothes which were not his! I don't know much of what is missing, as I did not make a list when I took him to the care home.

We were invited to visit Waterhouse Manor with our alpacas for an Alpaca experience for the residents.
As always, the event was very well organised and coordinated. We were greeted with a smile and offered a drink straight away. The residents who we met during the experience were all very happy and
full of cheer! We had a lovely afternoon meeting everyone and thank you for inviting us to spend some time with you. Its a really lovely place to visit, clean, well kept and all the staff who we met were very kind, caring and professional.

Dad has been at Waterhouse Manor 4 months now and things just get better and better. The staff are all amazing, caring, happy and cheerful and always willing to engage with family visiting. I am always made to feel very welcome and I love that I can visit my dad at any time - there is nothing hidden.
The activities staff work hard to give residents a huge variety of activities and entertainment - and they are all supported and encouraged to participate at whatever level they are able. A weekly exercise group has recently started - which I feel is really important and beneficial for the wellbeing of my dad and for other residents. Waterhouse Manor is so much more than just another care home- it is something lovely and positive. I look forward to visiting my dad here and I'm glad we choose Waterhouse Manor.

The carers couldn't be kinder to my brother, and he couldn't be happier living in his new home. I feel so blessed to find him such a lovely place to live. He loves the food and the company; he was having a lonely time before moving to Waterhouse Manor.
For me, it is such a relief that he is now safe

My mother recently had a two-week respite stay and thoroughly enjoyed herself during this time. Communication to arrange the stay was excellent and I felt able to ask any questions and make requests with confidence. The home is clean, modern and comfortable and everyone is very welcoming. Mum commented
on the lovely staff, who could not do enough for her, and the interesting activities. She felt well cared for and safe, and said she would happily have another stay in the future.

After living and the losing her sister-in-law, my aunt had to find a care home. She was welcomed with open arms into this caring and supportive home. My aunt was very nervous, as she likes routine, and had never been in a home before. She has settled in well and is happy. This care home in Fordham,
is beautiful, friendly and there is always lots going on. The staff are amazing, always putting the residents first.

I cannot thank the team at Barton Manor enough for the care and support they provided to my mother during her time as a resident. From the beginning, it was clear that Barton Manor is a home where residents are valued, respected, and cared for. My mother often shared how happy she was, and knowing her
as well as I do, that is a true testament to the outstanding culture of care within the home. Even in her more challenging moments, the staff showed unwavering patience, kindness, and understanding. The professionalism of the team at Barton Manor is excellent. Every staff member I encountered was warm, approachable, and dedicated to delivering person-centred care. It is clear that the team is passionate about what they do. Their dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment for residents is admirable. I am grateful for the love and dignity they gave to my mother, and I would recommend Barton Manor to anyone seeking a place where their loved ones will be genuinely cared for.

My wife has continued to receive nothing but the very best in daily care at this wonderful home. All visitors are made to feel very welcome and precise attention to individual needs remains as outstanding as ever. The variety of activities on offer are outstanding and all are carefully chosen to include
residents in sessions which are both stimulating and encourage their participation and involvement at a level with which they are comfortable. Relevant information on my wife's well-being is always readily available. Now with warmer weather here a few short trips out to meet up with close friends and family have proved to be a welcome and worthwhile addition to the usual care home routines.
