We are so delighted to have mum come and join us in her new home, she is a wonderful lady and the pleasure of seeing her blossom is so lovely for us all to see. Mum has a great sense of humour and often has us all chuckling when she comes out with the most surprising of statements. Mum is indeed thriving and how wonderful for her to be joining all activities and spending all her time in the communal areas of the home. She has settled so well with us and seeing her content and very settled gives the whole team a sense of pride. However, coupled with that we feel that we are so happy you mention our welcoming team who are happy to go above and beyond. The chefs and catering assistants try so hard to make sure everyone in the home is enjoying freshly prepared meals. Mum I know was apprehensive about moving to a new care environment and the team have worked very hard to ensure she feels listened to and respected and used gentle reassurance to give comfort. It is lovely to see her settling so well with us and its wonderful to see her enjoying some activities in the home and slowly growing in confidence. Mum is a fabulous lady with a brilliant sense of humour and the staff and other residents are very much enjoying having her join our family at Riverdale. The whole home team work so hard to ensure that every resident who chooses to live with us feels happy and content. Our home is very beautiful and we are very proud to care for our residents in such a fantastic environment. However, our staff are really our greatest asset and as you say are so compassionate and kind and will always go that extra mile for everyone in our care. Your dad is a fabulous gentleman and a real pleasure to support. It has been absolutely marvelous to see him blossom after a long stay in hospital and really start engaging in the many activities within the home. He has truly thrived and continues to make great improvements in his daily life with us and we are very proud of his personal achievements and progression.
