Overall Experience

My husband has been in Heathlands for 3 months and I am so happy with the care he has received with dementia it is difficult for him to accept help also the carers and their staff do a great job. So thank you to them all.

Overall Experience

Heathlands is a small and very welcoming care home. The staff are caring, gentle and friendly. They listened and carried out requests and have become lifelong friends. Medical needs are attended too and there are activities to cover many needs, both physical and mental. Outside entertainment is also

enjoyed. Christmas lunch was exceptionally good, but the food is always good. I would recommend Heathlands.

Overall Experience

I am Daniels sister, he seem quite happy here and settled in quite well. The staff are very kind and my brother is always clean. I do make sure he has his shave and his feet done and that there is money in his kitty to pay for it. I don't live here all the time but I do what I can to make him compatible

when I know he is well cared for. The staff are always very lovely to me and greet me with a smile. 10 out of 10 for your lovely staff.

Overall Experience

My partners Aunt has lived at Heathlands for several years. She was living with complex needs, unable to care for herself or communicate her needs effectively. Everytime we visited it was clear how well she was looked after. Not only her physical but her emotional needs were clearly well met. She was

always clean and well looked after and her response to the care team and nurses showed she was comfortable in their care. The nurses and care team were always welcoming to us as visitors. Infact the entire team. Even their very kind maintaince man who I met on a few occasions was always polite and spoke of her fondly having clearly spent time chatting to her when maintaining her bedroom etc. The home itself is clean and well kept. The corridors are 'dementia friendly' with wall art creating a street scene. They have appropriate equipment such as tilt and space chairs and equipment to support her head and limbs following a stroke, enabling her to comfortably into communal areas.

Overall Experience

My wife has been a resident since Feb 2025. Throughout this time, I have found the staff to be not only very caring, as one would expect, but also very friendly and understanding regarding her condition. Management have gone out of their way to help her have periods of enjoyment alongside other residents,

although she is almost totally bedbound.
It is her nature to be contented, but management and staff go out of their way to ensure she stays that way. I have seen a lot of improvements since Feb and hope it continues.

Overall Experience

Have been happy with HCC. The food is excellent, healthy and varied. The staff are caring and kind and keep family members informed about any medical or personal issues. If there are any queries or concerns, these are discussed and acted upon - and doctors or nurses are called upon, if necessary.
Music

and games together with live musicians are encouraged and all the residents enjoy and look forward to these regular activities. Arts and crafts are also part of the day and enjoyed, together with bingo and some ball games are played too. On sunny days the residents are taken into the garden.
Regular daily cleaning takes place with smiling cleaners and care to hygiene is very important and adhered to. The head of maintenance is always on hand assisting and helping - and always chats to all the residents and family members.
Reception/adiminstrator is always friendly and very helpful in all matters helping HCC to run smoothly and efficiently.

Overall Experience

Very impressed with the way in which my partner has been looked after, especially through his recent decline and illness. All staff are very caring and helpful, and look after me too when I am visiting. They all go the extra mile to ensure our comfort.
A particular lady on reception is excellent

and another particular member of staff took time out to update us on my partners condition and explained everything so well and clearly.
The facilities are very good and spacious, and the care flexible and adaptive to the individuals needs.
Thank you all so very much; my mind is much more at ease since my partner has been with you over the last 10 months.

Overall Experience

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Heathlands since November 2024. During the last two months, I have seen great improvement in all aspects of the home. Staff are extremely caring and always willing to resolve any issues. My mother-in-law is an extremely fussy eater. I have witnessed staff offering

her 5 different choices of food at meal times. The home is always clean and well maintained. Activities are varied and keep the residents happy and occupied. Great home.

Overall Experience

Visited today with brother-in-law, his wife, & my sister-in-law. A party was taking place to celebrate the horse racing. Lady singer was fantastic and it was obvious the residents were loving it. As always, the carers were interacting continuously with the residents. The party food was enjoyed by all.
My

husband's family doesn't visit often as they live 70 miles away, but I visit him a couple of times a week & am always impressed with the staff.

The care home is well-organised and they run the home like a well-organised unit and they are very polite. They look after the residents with great care. Nothing is impossible for the staff. We visited the person we went to see and their names and photos are on their door. I worked in a care home before

I retired for about three years myself. But this unit at Windsor Care Centre in Slough to me is so much more advanced.

My brother was well looked after by the staff. The food they were given was excellent. The staff were kind to us as well. The home was very clean and well looked after. The staff also asked us if we wanted tea or coffee, we thought this was lovely. The staff looked after the residents with a smile and

said take your time and we can get there. To me myself I think they have hearts made of kindness to other people. The home is Windsor Care Centre, in Slough.
