Care Homes Owned by Windsar Care Ltd in Berkshire

It has been just under one year that my brother has been cared under Windsor Care Centre. I am pleased the way he is cared. It took him about 2-3 months to adapt to the conditions. The staff are excellent, very helpful on the demand. They are always happy to receive the visitors. I always find him clean apart from eating time. My brother is happy when I go there. I am glad he has not been to hospital for long time. In the previous house, he spent 5 months in hospital out of 6 months stay.

Staff are very supportive of one another.

My mum recently celebrated her 90th birthday. The family visited and we had a lovely surprise as the staff had decorated one of the lounges and provided party food for us all, including birthday cake! We are very grateful for all the time and effort that went into making this such a special occasion. It was so thoughtful. My mum is settled and clearly very happy and she is responding well to all of the kindness and nurturing that she is receiving from the staff team. We appreciate everything that is done for her and know that she is being well cared for. Thank you.

Heathlands is a small care home with friendly, caring staff. The food is good, and if you have any concerns, the management will always sort them out.

I have been visiting my dad in your care home for 18 months now. The issues I would like to mention are that the food varies in quality. When he pushes the call bell for attention, he can be waiting at times up to almost an hour. He finds this really humiliating. Apart from these serious items, he is quite happy.

The home is very caring and feedback is good. I cannot fault the care my brother is receiving.

The home's set up is well set and organised. All the staff are very supportive, caring and helpful.

My husband has been in Heathlands for 3 months and I am so happy with the care he has received with dementia it is difficult for him to accept help also the carers and their staff do a great job. So thank you to them all.

I am Daniels sister, he seem quite happy here and settled in quite well. The staff are very kind and my brother is always clean. I do make sure he has his shave and his feet done and that there is money in his kitty to pay for it. I don't live here all the time but I do what I can to make him compatible when I know he is well cared for. The staff are always very lovely to me and greet me with a smile. 10 out of 10 for your lovely staff.

My partners Aunt has lived at Heathlands for several years. She was living with complex needs, unable to care for herself or communicate her needs effectively. Everytime we visited it was clear how well she was looked after. Not only her physical but her emotional needs were clearly well met. She was always clean and well looked after and her response to the care team and nurses showed she was comfortable in their care. The nurses and care team were always welcoming to us as visitors. Infact the entire team. Even their very kind maintaince man who I met on a few occasions was always polite and spoke of her fondly having clearly spent time chatting to her when maintaining her bedroom etc. The home itself is clean and well kept. The corridors are 'dementia friendly' with wall art creating a street scene. They have appropriate equipment such as tilt and space chairs and equipment to support her head and limbs following a stroke, enabling her to comfortably into communal areas.

Incredible care with dignity and compassion. Not only to the patient but to the whole family. I have the utmost trust and confidence that my friend is in the best possible place and is receiving 100% quality care.

It is her nature to be contented, but management and staff go out of their way to ensure she stays that way. I have seen a lot of improvements since Feb and hope it continues.

Reception/adiminstrator is always friendly and very helpful in all matters helping HCC to run smoothly and efficiently.

I would highly recommend the home to anyone looking for care.

This care home has greatly improved due to the change in management and staff. I seriously considered removing my mother from this home at the beginning of the year, but I am very happy with the care my mum is receiving now. Very well done to the management for turning this home around. Please may it continue.

My mum has been at Heathlands for over a year now and has been very happy and settled. The staff seem very caring and go above and beyond to look after Mum. I feel that I have always been listened to when I visit, and the staff always greet me and ask how I am.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Heathlands since November 2024. During the last two months, I have seen great improvement in all aspects of the home. Staff are extremely caring and always willing to resolve any issues. My mother-in-law is an extremely fussy eater. I have witnessed staff offering her 5 different choices of food at meal times. The home is always clean and well maintained. Activities are varied and keep the residents happy and occupied. Great home.

My husband's family doesn't visit often as they live 70 miles away, but I visit him a couple of times a week & am always impressed with the staff.

My sister-in-law aged 102 spent 4 weeks with you while being assessed by social services. She received excellent service and attention from all staff who were most attentive.
