My brother was in Quinton Lodge from 30 March 2020 until July 2024 when he had to go into a care home due to worsening health. The staff were wonderful throughout his time there and he was so happy. It gave me piece of mind knowing he was so well cared for, as I live in France and was unable to visit
very often. The single apartments are well-designed and the whole buiding is very colourful and full of light. I have no hesitation in recommending Quinton Lodge and I would like to thank all the staff for their wonderful care.

As a family member of my resident 'Mum' at Harry Caplan House and one of four of my mum's children I conduct this review on behalf of us all. We were not happy with the care afforded to our Mother. We would go as far as to say it was appalling and we gave notice and moved our mum out of there.
One
example; each time we voiced ourselves in regards to helping my mother, in any way, the staff see it as a negative thing and would not work with us to support our mother i.e. every time we voiced something or complained informally, it was taken negatively.
The communication from the care home was not good as they do not listen well, think they know everything and will not work in partnership for the greater good of their residents. They do not like residents who can challenge processes. There are a few members of staff that have worked within the home for a lot of years and they seem to have lost their care and compassion for the job.
