Extra Care Housing Owned by United Welsh Housing Association in Caerphilly

We were very grateful to have been able to secure a flat for our mother who wanted to maintain her independence but needed some assistance during the day. Her flat had been freshly decorated and was spotlessly clean and spacious. They provide a daily three course lunch and opportunity for residents to socialise. We were able to arrange a care package when a couple of slots became available including an excellent laundry service. Sadly due to the rapid decline following her dementia prognosis and her increased falls she was only able to live there for a few months and has recently moved into a Care Home to receive 24/7 care. The manager was exceptionally helpful and kind. The staff and care team also went above and beyond to help her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Plas Hyfryd.
