I had a chat with The General Manager in his office, who was very impressive and informative and was well versed as to the mental health situation of my Stepmother.
Generally, I was very happy of her care in the facility.

I always find the staff friendly and helpful. My brother looks happy and well cared for. If I need any information regarding his well being there is always somebody there to answer my questions. they keep me informed of any problems or changes with regards to my brother.

The manager was approachable and helpful. The food was good, and the ground floor was always clean.
My friend did not attend many activities, but they have an activities person who looks after these daily routines. The patient was treated with dignity. The place was secure. The care was excellent.
A M House is very clean and well maintained. I had a chance to speak to the head carer as well as three other carers who were friendly and polite. My mom's room was clean, and although it appeared that something had spilt on the floor and was sticky. I asked about mom's toenails because they appeared very long and needed to be clipped. The carer mentioned that they were in the process of calling a professional nail technician to have that done. Overall, I was very happy with the home and the carers involved.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and kind words. We're delighted that you're happy with your mother's care and to hear that you found Alan Morkill House clean, well maintained with a friendly and approachable team.
Best wishes,Emmanuel
Always friendly and pleasant staff. Very nice to my dad. Always smiling and being patient with my dad.
Thank you for sharing your experience of our home. Best wishes, Emmanuel
I have visited my grandmother at Alan Morkill House a number of times. Every time I have been welcomed by friendly members of staff who seem to take pride in their work and are respectful and supportive of the residents. The room my grandmother is staying in is large and cosy, with an ensuite bathroom, she enjoys the view through her window. The main living room has a good atmosphere with comfy chairs. As is unavoidable in such a setting, my grandmother sometimes finds the necessary schedule of the day (for example mandatory meal times) a little waring, but overall she is very positive about the care she receives.
Thank you for sharing your experience of our home!
Every person I have spoken with has been so incredibly empathic and caring. Nothing has been too much trouble. I have recently reconnected with my long lost aunt and the staff have not only looked after and cared for her they have also been so wonderfully supportive of me getting to know my aunt again.
Thank you for sharing such kind words. Warm wishes,
Every member of staff I have been in contact with has been very polite and helpful. They also take a genuine interest in my sister.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Best wishes,
My brother was admitted to Alan Morkill House in April 2025. I have seen my brother settle in due to the excellent care from the staff. The room has been made comfortable to suit his needs. The manager is very kind and deals with any issues. I feel more at ease now I know he is in safe hands.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind feedback. Best regards.
Very nice care home. My mother has been cared for very well. Clean environment and lovely staff. Mum had an ulcer on her leg and it was looked at and cared for.
Thank you for your kind words and lovely feedback. Best wishes,
Everyone is always pleasant & polite. Extremely happy with the way my sister is treated.
Thank you for your kind review! Kind regards,
My mother-in-law, age 97, has been at Alan Morkill for six months now. After years of increasing upset living alone in her own home with advancing dementia, she is now finally settled, calm and safe. This we attribute to the dedication of her carers, her lovely room and opportunities to take part in activities and socialise. Everyone we have spoken to is friendly and helpful, we are kept constantly in the loop regarding medical issues or items that she requires, such as clothing or books. The Manager has been incredibly supportive, understanding and sensitive to the family dynamics. It has been greatly reassuring for us to feel that she is being cared for by such kind people.
Thank you for your kind words. We're delighted to know our team's care and support has made such a positive difference. Regards
The admin mgr was also extremely supportive and the carers kind & patient.
I have experience of both parents living in care & then nursing homes & Alan Morkill felt like a happy home in a way that none of the others have.
Thank you for your heartfelt review. Warm regards
The person I was seeing, an ex Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Councillor. seemed happy and content in her room. She made no negative comments to me and my friend visiting. Overall there seemed to be a pleasant atmosphere at the home and we were given a warm welcome. It was an uplifting visit. We plan to go see the lady again in the Spring.
Thank you for sharing your experience of our home. Best regards.
My experience at Alan Morkill House has up to now been very good indeed.
Hello, thank you for sharing your 5-star experience! Regards.
My sister has been at Alan Morkill House for six months and has settled well. The staff are very caring and my sister is looked after very well.
Thank you for your review. We will pass on your kind words to all our staff.
Overall excellent. Thank you.
Thank you for your review. We look forward to seeing you soon.
I find the staff at Alan Morkill House first class and always kind and respectful. The manager is very approachable and likewise very respectful, a credit to the care home. All in all, very pleased with Alan Morkill House.
Thank you for your kind words about our home. I look forward to seeing you on your next visit to Alan Morkill.
I have no other issues with my visits except the wait time to enter the home could be more efficient. Having to wait around outside for 10 minutes while calling the home because no one is available to open the door is unacceptable. If visitors have only limited time we do not want to waste any of it waiting outside.
I was visiting my sister for the first time on Saturday. I have to say that the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful, particularly one lady.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our home. Best wishes.
