Alan Morkill House, has an impeccable reputation when it comes to delivering exceptional care.

The home provides residential care for older people and those who have dementia. The rooms are arranged into seven groups with a shared sitting room and kitchen for each group which encourages residents to get to know each other.

Residents are encouraged to make their fully furnished rooms as comfortable as possible with their own belongings. The supportive staff team are available 24 hours a day to help with any requests from the residents, and clients are able to choose a local GP. An optician, dentist and chiropodist also visit the home.

The area is home to world Famous Notting Hill, Portobello Market, and the annual event of Notting Hill Carnival, a lovely celebration for the residents to have on their doorstep.

I've been informed about my mums health. I've talked to at least 8 members of staff and they've been charming, helpful and caring on each of my many visits over the last 2 weeks. I feel the staff care very much for my mum and have given me wonderful, personal service. Please pass on my grateful appreciation.

All staff are excellent, considerate, kind and interested in my family members welfare.
There has been a couple of changes in management in the year but the deputy has been the constant senior member.
Activities have improved recently and now there is more on offer.

My mother and I am overwhelmed with the great care, attention, warmth and genuine enthusiasm for my mums well being.
Mother could not be in better company and feels safe, well looked after and extremely happy.
Alan Morkill House and its staff are a huge credit to Gold Care Homes and I applaud their
teamwork, compassion and professionalism.

My mother has dementia - feels fairly happy with treatment. Since last CQC inspection rooms have been improved and living area better. Staff not always attentive to alarm calls, I hear them ringing for some time. Not always sufficient staff, I went in the lounge on my last visit - kitchen door open.
Resident all seated but no care worker present, probably getting dinner trolley from kitchen. Should be 2 care workers. Several items disappeared from room; watches, tv remote, purses.

My grandmother is cared for by caring, understanding and professional staff. My grandmother is always clean, well fed and looked after. The staff offer more than just practical care, they understand needs, and as a result my grandmother is much better than when she arrived at Alan Morkill House. The
staff are in my opinion A1.
