The home offers residential and dementia care within a homely setting, as well as short-term respite care. Since my mother has been a resident at Lyle House the care she has received has been excellent. The staff always have time to stop and enquire as to how she is feeling, and when family members visit, they always make us feel comfortable and part of the family. For mum's 95th birthday last year, they
arranged a private birthday party and could not do enough to accommodate all our needs. The management team are also very helpful and does whatever is needed to make life as easy as possible for residents and family. I would recommend Lyle House to any family needing care for family members.

My mum has been a resident of Lyle House Care Home since November 2020. There have been consistent challenges during the period she has lived there, both from the Covid19 pandemic and with her own health challenges. Throughout this time, I have always found the staff to be kind, caring and very helpful.
The
home itself is very nice. It is modern and attractive with very good facilities.

My aunt loves it at Lyle House. My aunt has gone from not wanting to go to the care home to please can I stay as everything is lovely, especially the staff. She has made friends and is so happy. My husband spent two weeks respite care at Lyle House while I was on holiday with my daughter. His room was very good and the staff excellent. They were very accommodating when I had to change his arrival time due to problems with the ambulance transfer from home. He was very well cared for. The staff
kept me fully informed about everything. They made me feel totally confident that he was in good hands while I was away. I will certainly use Lyle House for future respite care

Sadly for mum after 77 years in the home she married in, and had her 5 children in, she had to move into Lyle House but wow what a great move mum is well cared for looks healthy, and is no longer lonely. She loves the dancing and bingo we love we can visit anytime and all the staff are caring and friendly

I had to access a care home urgently for my uncle who was a high risk as he had not been looking after himself. I contacted Lyle House and explained the situation and they couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. After a rapid telephone assessment, a short-term admission was arranged for the
same day. The staff were faultless and looked after him exceptionally well for two weeks. Thank you.

My father has been in Lyle House since February 2021. Since then he has never looked better. He is 90yrs old but still full of fun. All the care staff know him and greet him and he responds with genuine happiness. What made it clear how happy he is was when after a trip out to lunch I pulled up outside
and he said "home sweet home". My father is always happy to see me but equally happy to say goodbye!
His room is always immaculate and any queries I've had regarding anything to do with my father is quickly answered and resolved by very friendly and helpful staff.
I couldn't recommend it any higher. As a family, we count ourselves lucky that our father is in such good care.

My mum has been at Lyle House for approximately 9 months now and we couldn't be happier with the care she is receiving. It's so true what they say 'A companies culture filters from the top down.' When you meet the manager at Lyle House, you will know what I mean. He is so attentive, caring and helpful,
both with residents and their families. It has been our experience that any of the staff that we have had dealings with (from the reception team to the carers to the activities team to the kitchen staff) are all friendly and helpful. We have seen such a huge change in our mum's mental health. She is smiling again and engaging with us and the staff. They patiently convince her to change her clothes and come out of her room to socialise with the other residents. She is also so well looked after, she regularly has her nails and hair done by the vising beauty therapist. As for the standard of the facilities at Lyle, they are 5*! My mom's room is beautifully furnished and is always clean.

My mother has advance stage dementia and has been at Lyle House for a couple of months now. From the outset, the manager has provided myself and the rest of my family continuous reassurance and support in making the transition as smooth as possible. The manager has shown compassion and absolutely understood
all the challenges we faced and my family are all very pleased with the way things have been handled.
It is apparent that all the staff are very hardworking. The carers have made me feel so welcome and always provide an insight into how my mother is settling in. I am confident my mother is being well looked after.
Lyle House has a warm, homely atmosphere and I am always welcomed with a friendly hello from reception.

From the day we visited Lyle to view the suitability for our mum we have been impressed with the high standard of care, facilities, knowledge of staff and cleanliness of the care home. Just over a year later we are still very happy with the care Mum receives and standards have not dropped. The staff

This is a very caring home and I would like to say that my sister seems to have adapted well to her new life there. On visiting, the staff are quite attentive to her abilities and needs.
It has been difficult for everyone during the Covid pandemic, so visiting has been limited but my sister has been

My mother joined Lyle House in January 2020. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful and kind especially throughout the pandemic, keeping the lines of communication between my mother and the family open and accessible. The Well Being and Activities coordinators provide stimulating entertainment
and the catering staff serve up food that would not be out of place in a central London restaurant. My mother is unable to articulate her feelings in words but the joy on her face and constant laughter is a firm indication that she is happy, comfortable and safe within this environment. If you want an example of what a good care home should be like, then take a look at Lyle House.

I am so happy with the care from the staff working at Lyle House.
My nan has been in the home since the end of last year and I had my first visit with her in April. The staff at reception were very polite and helpful, especially with the COVID testing routines.
My nan was brought down to me and it
was amazing to see her after such a long time. It is obvious that she is very well cared for and when the team member came to collect her, he showed care, comfort and attentiveness towards her.
The room used for visits is very beautiful with lots of colours and patterns.
Overall, I am very pleased with Lyle House and we know, as a family, that we chose the best place for my nan to stay.

My sister and I would like to thank the manager and his wonderful team for all the care and attention that they gave to our late mother.
From the time she arrived in January until her passing in April, she was so well looked after. We couldn’t have wished for better care, so thank you all so much.
It was comforting to know that our mum was so well looked after with dignity.
Even after her passing, we were supported professionally and with great care.
We would not hesitate to recommend the manager and his team at Lyle house.

Mum is very happy at Lyle House, which I believe is down to the friendly, supportive and professional staff as well as the other residents.
Mum loves taking part in activities as it keeps her brain active.
At Lyle they always mark special dates such as patron saints days, valentines, international
woman's day and so on as well as the resident's birthdays and Christmas so they can still enjoy themselves in the absence of loved ones.
It was Mum's first Christmas and Birthday away from us and first without my dad and, although difficult, she enjoyed the occasions because of having lovely people around her.
In the absence of visiting it was so nice to have weekly Skype calls which were always set up on time and assisted if needed.
Now visiting has started again it is obvious how well organised the team are with regards to safety and timing etc and there is always a friendly, happy face at reception to greet you.
Also, the Facebook posts are fantastic. Staff that genuinely care for the residents

Lyle House is a fantastic residential care home for dementia and Alzheimer's.
My dad has been a resident since October 2020 and has settled well since being there. He is mixing with the other residents and is less anxious. He was deteriorating at home, but is calmer and settled with the care of the
staff at Lyle House.
They are aware of the needs of the residents and provide a lot of hard work, support and care.
There are always activities and things to do and make an effort on all occasions.
Lyle House is clean, welcoming, bright and cheerful.

Since day one Lyle House have made not just Mum feel at home but also us as her family. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The home is like one lovely little community. Clean warm and inviting.

Why did you get rid of such a lovely receptionist? I enjoyed coming in, even waiting to be connected on the phone the young lady was so kind and thoughtful. She cared! She made me and my family feel at ease and always answered our questions. I'm very disappointed that she is not a receptionist anymore.
The old manager was not nice at all. The home is understaffed and the best people are worked to the bone.
Beautiful home and lovely surroundings, I must say and the food is fantastic!

Your overall care is outstanding and on my visit, I felt extremely comfortable in the way it was carried out, it was calming and though we were self-distancing I felt close to my relative.
We were welcomed with a drink which I thought was a kind gesture.
I was pleased to meet several members of staff
who l felt were very compassionate toward my relative and ourselves.
