I find Norton House to be an excellent care home. Each time I visit I feel very welcomed and kindness by the staff. The resident I am visiting has made remarkable progress. She is looking very well from the care she is receiving. I have recommended Norton House to some elderly friends who need help. I find it to be a lovely caring home.

In the care homes I've resided the last three years, I found Norton House by far the best home. The care and attention to personal well being is first-class.

This morning I attended the art history discussion with the residents. Three very knowledgeable experts showed images of different styles of art and led conversations about what the artist intended and what we could see - including describing it for the benefit of a resident who was sight impaired. It was a wonderful session. Norton House staff continue to be as kind and as caring as the very first day we visited. I could not be more grateful to everyone at Norton House!

My dad was in Norton house for nearly 3 years. He really benefitted from the fantastic food and the staff were absolutely lovely to him. The atmosphere at Norton House is kind, friendly and fun. The staff are unbelievably efficient and so caring.

I want to mention two carers who always went above our expectations. They truly cared for our dad and made us feel very welcomed. The communication was also great, they took the time to listen to our concerns and phoned us if there was anything they felt we needed to know. Also knowing that a lovely GP visited dad regularly was amazing.

My mum loved it here, it was like her home bless her, she loved the staff, everything about this home was beautiful, safe and you did not need to worry. They would ring you if she had to see the doctor, my mum only went into hospital as her heart and blood pressure got low. God bless her. She did not make it back home as she called it. Thank you for looking after my mum, I have not got over her death, as you knew I was the only person who saw her the most, she loved you all and I'm not going to name people, but a very special person who cared about her, and she would put them on the phone to me. Thank you.

When you enter Norton House, it is like walking home. All staff are like family, so welcoming, kind, friendly and they are very professional too. Nothing seems too much trouble. The cleanliness is exceptional and the rooms are kept very clean and tidy. The meals are delicious with plenty of variety. If anyone living at Norton House has a request that request will be met.

Wonderful care for my father. Kind and attentive staff at all times. He is always clean and well dressed. He is treated with dignity and compassion. Facilities are fine. Food is basic but sufficient. His medical needs are always attended to.

It has been such a comfort to me to see how well cared for my relative is.

She is happy to be a permanent resident following a period of rehabilitation and we notice a vast improvement in her general well-being and her mood, I would say thanks to the high level of care she is achieving her full potential.

I have never met such a caring team who are like a united family and who treat each of us as they would a member of a happy family. They are thoughtful, professional and do their best to make us as comfortable as possible. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and they are supportive and encouraging, especially when one is in severe pain. They liaise with the general practitioner who looks after the residents here and organise any necessary transport for hospital appointments. They all appear to enjoy working here, which shows in the way they interact with each other, as well as with us.

At first, it was all very strange as I had come from a completely different place, a hospital. When I lay on my bed here and got up I was in agony due to sciatica and a strange bed. I gradually found the food was delicious and before Covid hit us the events were very good. I also got plenty of sleep but became very unfit, now under advice, I am trying to walk up and down the corridor. The television in our room is a luxury.
