Norton House in Westminster is located in the heart of London close to St James's Park, Westminster Abbey and other attractions. The home provides residential care for up to 40 customers in homely and comfortable single en suite rooms and continues to welcome new residents.

The home is operated by Anchor, who work with residents and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Priding themselves in person-centred care, Norton House provides on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

They work hard to get to know customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service provided are at the highest level.

It reinvests the money made into its retirement properties and care homes, which enables the group to provide a high-quality service which exceeds expectations.

My dad was in Norton house for nearly 3 years. He really benefitted from the fantastic food and the staff were absolutely lovely to him. The atmosphere at Norton House is kind, friendly and fun. The staff are unbelievably efficient and so caring.
I want to mention two carers who always went above
our expectations. They truly cared for our dad and made us feel very welcomed. The communication was also great, they took the time to listen to our concerns and phoned us if there was anything they felt we needed to know. Also knowing that a lovely GP visited dad regularly was amazing.

My mum loved it here, it was like her home bless her, she loved the staff, everything about this home was beautiful, safe and you did not need to worry. They would ring you if she had to see the doctor, my mum only went into hospital as her heart and blood pressure got low. God bless her. She did not
make it back home as she called it. Thank you for looking after my mum, I have not got over her death, as you knew I was the only person who saw her the most, she loved you all and I'm not going to name people, but a very special person who cared about her, and she would put them on the phone to me. Thank you.

When you enter Norton House, it is like walking home. All staff are like family, so welcoming, kind, friendly and they are very professional too. Nothing seems too much trouble. The cleanliness is exceptional and the rooms are kept very clean and tidy. The meals are delicious with plenty of variety.

Wonderful care for my father. Kind and attentive staff at all times. He is always clean and well dressed. He is treated with dignity and compassion. Facilities are fine. Food is basic but sufficient. His medical needs are always attended to.

It has been such a comfort to me to see how well cared for my relative is.

I have never met such a caring team who are like a united family and who treat each of us as they would a member of a happy family. They are thoughtful, professional and do their best to make us as comfortable as possible. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and they are supportive and encouraging,
especially when one is in severe pain. They liaise with the general practitioner who looks after the residents here and organise any necessary transport for hospital appointments. They all appear to enjoy working here, which shows in the way they interact with each other, as well as with us.

My aunt likes it here. There seems to be a good staff to resident ratio, always somebody on hand and they also make visitors very welcome. I witnessed kindness and real care on my visits, we are so pleased my aunt has spent time here.

I am safe here because this is my home now and I cannot go back to the Philippines because I can't look after myself anymore.

At first, it was all very strange as I had come from a completely different place, a hospital. When I lay on my bed here and got up I was in agony due to sciatica and a strange bed. I gradually found the food was delicious and before Covid hit us the events were very good. I also got plenty of sleep
but became very unfit, now under advice, I am trying to walk up and down the corridor. The television in our room is a luxury.

My husband was in Norton House Care Home from August 2022 for six months. The home is very well run, always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff were absolutely fantastic and treated my husband with real loving care. I cannot speak too highly of them. My only slight disappointment and the
reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5, was in the quality of the activities that were arranged for residents. Everything else about the home is first rate and I would recommend it unhesitatingly.

I have been visiting my friend once a week for four years she is an extremely self-contained person. Very independent. Every visit I bring her flowers and delicious treats! I used to be her carer at her home. After many falls she now feels safe after moving into Norton House.

Following a brief hospital admission, my sister was professionally assessed by a Norton House staff and subsequently admitted to the House. Prior to my sister leaving hospital, I visited Norton House with my wife, to see if it would be a suitable placement for her. We were met by the home manager, who
welcomed us and showed us around. We were immediately impressed by her experience, caring and professional attitude. The premises was very clean and well-maintained.
My sister has settled in well in Norton House. In her own words, she feels 'well cared for'. The meals are freshly cooked on the premises and are 'excellent' according to my sister. There are daily activities that my sister can join in, should she wish to do so. As a family, we all feel reassured that my sister is being well cared for. We always found the staff to be friendly, courteous and welcoming. All in all, we are very pleased with Norton House.

The staff members were very kind and caring during the festive period. The Christmas gifts and Christmas meals were pleasantly presented throughout the festive season. The staff are very respectful and supportive, I never felt alone throughout the Christmas period.
