Appletree Court is a purpose-built care home offering elderly residential, nursing and dementia care. A professional team has furnished the home to a high standard, providing elegance and comfort.

The 'home from home' feel at Appletree Court is created by the dedicated staff who have been selected not only for their professional ability but also for their commitment to truly making a difference for the people in their care.

Resident’s rooms are spacious and feature en suite facilities. The communal areas are at the centre of what makes Appletree Court a real community whether it be at meal times or when enjoying activities. There are no fixed visiting hours so friends and family can come and see residents at any time.

The dining experience at Appletree Court boasts fine home cooking by a professional Chef who has created a menu to reflect the interests and tastes of the discerning residents.

Activities and day trips are an integral part of the resident’s well being. The activities coordinator encourages and helps residents continue with existing interests and also introduces new hobbies. Frequently residents are taken on day trips near and a little further from the home. The trips are very popular and recently, days out to Southend on Sea, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, RAF Museum Colindale, Crews Hill Garden Centre and Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne have been greatly enjoyed.

Respite care at Appletree Court is very popular and enables those wishing to experience what the Home has to offer before making a full commitment.

We have been very happy with Appletree. Mum has always received excellent care and has been treated with respect and dignity. The staff are always friendly and approachable, and management staff are the same. The manager always finds time to talk. There are always activities arranged for residents and
families, the atmosphere in the home is lovely. Sadly my mother passed away today. We wish the home well and thank you!

My father has been a resident since Jan 2020. I live abroad and so it is very reassuring to me that Appletree offers an extremely impressive level of care. First, and most importantly, the staff are excellent. This includes the management as well as all nursing, carer and other support staff. All the
carers I have encountered are good and many are really amazing: doing so much while creating such a friendly positive environment. The main nurse on my fathers floor is particularly exceptional: tracking, and chasing up, his many medical issues, while also being a true friend to him. The rooms and common areas are also clean, well furnished and maintained. They have a decent garden and tables out the back which is a small oasis for the area. The organization and communication of the facility is also great, including during all the complications of covid. I consider my father and our family very lucky to have found this place.

My late father stayed for a short while in Appletree Court, and I would like to give praise to the whole team who cared for him.
The dedication of the care staff was plain to see each time I visited, and nothing was too much trouble.

I cannot fault this care home. The staff are very caring, friendly and they take time to listen to the people in their care (and families). They engage them in many activities. Very clean, great visiting times and you can leave knowing your loved ones are in good hands. Highly recommended.

My parents have been resident together at Appletree Court since just before the pandemic in 2020 and we have always been happy with the lovely surroundings, welcoming atmosphere and kind and friendly staff. We cannot thank them enough for all that they have done to support our father since our mother
passed away and the kindness with which they have cared for him. He continues to live happily at Appletree Court where he has company and a purpose, having been encouraged to put his artistic skills to good use helping to make decorations for events. It is reassuring to know that he is happy. We are glad that we found Appletree. We were especially grateful for the wonderful afternoon tea reception that was provided for our family and friends following Mum's funeral. The dining room was beautifully decorated, the tables set with pretty china and the buffet delicious. Family members who had not previously visited Appletree Court were impressed with everything they saw. Thank you all!

The Summer Garden Party at Appletree Court Care Home in Burnt Oak, Edgeware was a spectacular event and we all didn't want it to end. It was lovely to see so many residents and family/friends and staff joining in with this day of music, food and fun. It far exceeded my expectations - an absolute joy
of an afternoon. The live music had everyone singing along - and a few were dancing too! The barbecue was plentiful and delicious and desserts and fruit platters were enjoyed by all. Such a dedicated team of staff at Appletree. I am glad my mum's here.

After the covid restrictions, it was lovely to see the home back to life. I am referring to the entertainment that was provided during the Queen's festival, the place seemed just like it was in pre-covid times. On this special day, the lounge was full, spilling into the garden, there was music and a
lady singer. The staff were all full of smiles and some were dancing with the patients. A lot of the efforts must go to the management and the organisation.

My first experience of my father being placed at Appletree was a very nervous time and my Dad did not settle for a few weeks but with the dedicated staff and contact with me was amazing. The home goes above and beyond everything to help my father feel comfortable and is so well looked after by all.

My husband was accepted into Appletree Court Care Home on 14th October and passed away on 28th October 2021. His treatment was fantastic, it was like home from home. The complete staff gave him first-class care. He died peacefully. From me and all the family, a big thank you. God bless you all.

Always found the staff attentive to my mother's needs. Very cheerful and caring. The home has a relaxed atmosphere but very particular towards health and safety during the pandemic. The home is well managed with staff on hand at all times.
