Resident’s rooms are spacious and feature en suite facilities. The communal areas are at the centre of what makes Appletree Court a real community whether it be at meal times or when enjoying activities. There are no fixed visiting hours so friends and family can come and see residents at any time.
The dining experience at Appletree Court boasts fine home cooking by a professional Chef who has created a menu to reflect the interests and tastes of the discerning residents.
Activities and day trips are an integral part of the resident’s well being. The activities coordinator encourages and helps residents continue with existing interests and also introduces new hobbies. Frequently residents are taken on day trips near and a little further from the home. The trips are very popular and recently, days out to Southend on Sea, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, RAF Museum Colindale, Crews Hill Garden Centre and Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne have been greatly enjoyed.

I am referring to the entertainment that was provided during the Queen's festival, the place seemed just like it was in pre-covid times. On this special day, the lounge was full, spilling into the garden, there was music and a lady singer. The staff were all full of smiles and some were dancing with the patients. A lot of the efforts must go to the management and the organisation.

My mum has been here since October 2021 and has settled in very well. She has been treated with respect and dignity by members of staff and made to feel secure and welcome. All staff and management are very polite, helpful and understanding.

The care my mother received was always warm and friendly. All the staff treated her with respect and even love. Mum was often kissed and cuddled by the nurses - especially during lockdown.

My husband was accepted into Appletree Court Care Home on 14th October and passed away on 28th October 2021. His treatment was fantastic, it was like home from home. The complete staff gave him first-class care. He died peacefully. From me and all the family, a big thank you. God bless you all.

Always found the staff attentive to my mother's needs. Very cheerful and caring. The home has a relaxed atmosphere but very particular towards health and safety during the pandemic. The home is well managed with staff on hand at all times.

Appletree Court provides an exceptionally high level of care. The staff are caring, skilled, and dedicated and the care seems very tailored to the individual's personality and needs. We could not ask for more and have been very impressed from the outset.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and I am sorry to hear you feel that your relative in the home is still not receiving the adequate dietary level and food. I will pass your comments on to the home and ask that they contact you to discuss your concerns so that we can rectify them.
Despite the complaints, the management does not take action. We have a very good domestic, she is a very good cook, but despite pointing this out to management she still does not work as a chef when the chef is off. There is not enough seasonal food, ie when strawberries are in season.

Lovely care home very clean, staff are very efficient and hard working. They make my nan feel so comfortable I am so happy with the service they give. I cannot thank them any more than I have already.
