I visit the home 3-4 times a week and I find the staff very friendly and courteous. My mum is well looked after and the staff are very caring when they need a little support they are there to give a little extra. The home is very clean and my mum's room is always tidy. The housekeepers do a very good job. The chefs and kitchen staff also do a very good job and the food is excellent. I also feel at ease when I leave the home as I know my mum is being cared for.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming on my initial visit, and their attitude has not changed since my husband arrived at the home. He has settled in well and is so much more chatty and lively than when he was at home with me prior to hospital admission. The staff engage with him well and have laughs and jokes etc. The food quality is good although some changes need to be made because my husband has dysphagia. The domestic and laundry staff are also friendly and chatty to both my husband and myself

All the carers spend time listening to residents and providing a high standard of care. I am always welcome to ask questions and feel comfortable leaving my father in their care.

The staff were very supportive to our family during this difficult time. They gave our mum care and love when she was feeling very vulnerable. We felt comfort in knowing our mother was safe and secure being well looked after. She loved the food and enjoyed all the entertainment they provided. Thank you so much for everything. Burrows has been a wonderful caring "home" for my darling mum in her final years. I can't thank you enough.

All of the carers appear to be professional with a friendly manner. At times some of the residents need a little extra commitment and somehow the carers manage their needs with a pleasant attitude. If there are any concerns they always listen and act according very pleasant atmosphere.

We have always received a warm and sincere welcome from all the staff- management and care staff. More importantly we have always found auntie clean, comfortable and well groomed. (praise indeed deserved here as she can be "challenging!") Her room is invariably very clean and tidy. So thank you everyone for great team-work!

My sister and I are very satisfied with the home. We know mum is safe and well cared for, clean, as is her bed and clothes. The staff always welcome us, since mum arrived in Oct 15 she has improved (she got very low in hosp). Mum has her hair done every week, the service provided is good.

My husband and I are very pleased with this care home. Our friend who has alzheimer's is happier than she has been for a long time since she has been in the home. The home has a lovely friendly atmosphere and is bright and clean. The staff are always available to speak to, our friend could not be happier and content and we have peace of mind.

It was a complete fluke that my mother wound up in Burrows. Originally she was allocated to another home, dingy (we thought) unsafe. We were given 3 hours to find an alternative as she was to be discharged from hospital the next morning. We live 2 hours drive away and initially thought we would move mum near to us. However, we are so delighted with the care she receives that we are prepared to travel to see her rather then risk a move to somewhere else that is unlikely to be so good for her.

The home is old fashioned but right for the age of the elderly people who live here. The staff are very helpful and kind, they will try and be as helpful as possible. I have met some very kind staff while visiting a former client. The home is always clean and tidy. It smells a bit but is still comfortable for the service user. While treating the service user with dignity and respect.
