Located conveniently just outside the centre of Penge, Burrows House is near to all the sights and sounds of London. Burrows House specialises’ in a range of skilled care packages, they specialise in Alzheimer’s & Dementia. The house offers 54 beds, including En-suite rooms and it’s surrounded by many parks, and only 6 minutes’ drive from the famous Crystal Palace Park. It’s in a populated yet peaceful location with pleasant surroundings, shops and other amenities. In addition, it has close transportation links, for an easy commute which is very convenient for visiting families.

Quite happy with care but clothes are mixed up, even though marked. Also, things go by other patients which can't be helped I should think.

We found Burrows House was a very good care home. The staff were thoughtful, very caring, really looked after my Mum. Burrows House was exceptionally clean, my Mum's room was kept spotless and my Mum looked clean and tidy.

My mum was a resident in this care home for nearly six years until she recently passed away. In all that time I found the staff to be very caring and helpful for all my mum's needs. My mum still attended her church services and the home always had her ready to be picked up. I could not have asked for
a better team of people when I was struggling myself with mum. It's very clean and tidy, you're always made to feel welcome. The food looked lovely. Well done.

From the day Mum entered her new home at Burrows she was made to feel special. They treated her with respect and a real lady. Nothing was too much. Myself and my sisters and brother were always made welcome and treated like family. Will miss the staff and Brorws very much.

Our family member has only been a resident for just over 8 weeks. During this time we have found the care received has been very good. Personal care clean and the family member is happy. The bedroom, toilets and communal areas are kept very clean. Domestic staff are first class.
There always seems
to be drinks available for residents and what food we have seen looks very nice. As a family, we have found the care staff very friendly and caring. When we visit staff are always welcoming.

I visit the home 3-4 times a week and I find the staff very friendly and courteous. My mum is well looked after and the staff are very caring when they need a little support they are there to give a little extra. The home is very clean and my mum's room is always tidy. The housekeepers do a very good
job. The chefs and kitchen staff also do a very good job and the food is excellent. I also feel at ease when I leave the home as I know my mum is being cared for.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming on my initial visit, and their attitude has not changed since my husband arrived at the home. He has settled in well and is so much more chatty and lively than when he was at home with me prior to hospital admission. The staff engage with him well and have
laughs and jokes etc. The food quality is good although some changes need to be made because my husband has dysphagia. The domestic and laundry staff are also friendly and chatty to both my husband and myself

The staff were very supportive to our family during this difficult time. They gave our mum care and love when she was feeling very vulnerable. We felt comfort in knowing our mother was safe and secure being well looked after. She loved the food and enjoyed all the entertainment they provided. Thank

My sister and I are very satisfied with the home. We know mum is safe and well cared for, clean, as is her bed and clothes. The staff always welcome us, since mum arrived in Oct 15 she has improved (she got very low in hosp). Mum has her hair done every week, the service provided is good.

All of the carers appear to be professional with a friendly manner. At times some of the residents need a little extra commitment and somehow the carers manage their needs with a pleasant attitude. If there are any concerns they always listen and act according very pleasant atmosphere.
