My aunt finally , after a couple of falls , agreed that she could no longer live on her own. So pleased that she's in David's House, always somebody about either talking to the residents or sitting with them or escorting them somewhere or crafting etc with them. It's always clean, nobody is ignored. My aunts room is always nice and tidy, they threw a fantastic 100th birthday party for her. David's House is lovely and " homely " lots of personal touches pictures, ornaments etc. . Every member of staff is extremely approachable and helpful.

Very happy with the care my father has received, he seems to be happy and healthier. He's put on some more weight. What I found great was how you celebrated my father's birthday with a cake made just for him. Staff are very friendly.
Thank you for your positive review - Dad is a joy to care for and very popular with the other residents - he gets fully involved with the twice weekly chaplain services which he really enjoys.

Davids House has looked after my dear friend for over six years with loving care, seeing her through COVID, recovering from a fractured hip, advanced dementia and palliative care. Many of the staff have worked there for years, which provides a reassuring consistency of care. The rooms are small but comfortable and homely. The small, tidy gardens are currently being improved and replaced. The home and the residents' clothing are kept scrupulously clean. As a visitor, I have always been greeted with warmth and respect by the staff. Thank you, Davids House.
Thank you for your positive feedback; it motivates our team to continue with the good work. It was our great pleasure to look after your dear friend. She will be missed by all at Davids House.
The staff at Davids House organised a wonderful 100th birthday for our mum. They really went out of their way to make it a lovely day for her, and for our family. They set aside a space for us and decorated it beautifully, and provided a delicious cake and lots of food. We were very touched by the effort everyone put in. We are so glad that we chose Davids House for our mum's care.
We feel blessed to have been entrusted with Mum's wellbeing, she really is a joy to care for. The whole team were happy to do what they could to make sure Mum would enjoy her big day.
From the first contact, the staff at Davids House have been wonderful. They put people first and it is never too much trouble to listen and try to find a solution for a particular problem. As a family, we felt totally welcome on every occasion when we visited. They looked after my mum with compassion, humour and great care and attention.
Thank you for making the time to provide a review - we always appreciate reading comments from friends and relatives. Mum was a very interesting, gracious lady and will be missed. We appreciated all the support and regular visits from all of the family.
Davids House offered a caring home from home for our mum. They were understanding and skilled in their care and so welcoming to family and friends. We are very grateful she could be looked after here.
Thank you for your comments - which we will share with all the staff. Mum had interesting life stories and was a caring person, she will be missed by many here at Davids House and by those whose lives she touched in the wider community.
My sister has been in Davids House since 02/09/2024. She suffers from Alzheimer's. Since she has been here I have noticed a big difference in her, she talks a lot more, enjoys interacting with the staff and enjoys the activities. The management and cares are really kind accommodating and very helpful. I am really glad she is happy.
Thank you for sharing your experience - we feel very privileged to have been entrusted with your sister's care - she is a truly joyful soul and a pleasure to be around.
We chose Davids House on the recommendation of a friend and our experience to date has been really positive. Mum-in-law moved in just over a week ago and seems to have settled in very well. All the staff we have met so far from management to other staff have been so welcoming and kind to us. More importantly, we have seen how caring all the staff are to the residents themselves treating them with kindness, dignity and patience. The home is clean and comfortable, on a quiet road and surrounded by pretty gardens which are a lovely bonus for residents and visitors. The activities program is good and mum-in-law has already been taken out on a trip which she enjoyed a lot.
Thank you for your positive review - we are very happy you have felt welcomed. We are blessed with staff who are very caring and they will be thrilled this has been acknowledged.
