My brother is well looked after and happy with the home and staff, they are very kind and go beyond and above to ensure the service user's well looked after. They always communicate with us when there are any concers and issues, this is the best residential home i ahev come across
Our son has lived at the vicarage for three years now and we as parents continue to be grateful for the excellent care and support provided by the manager and her team. The staff are always approachable, kind and compassionate and have gone the extra mile on numerous occasions in caring for our son. The care home has a warm and homely feel , and well maintained to a high standard. My son enjoys participating in the many planned activities at the vicarage. He especially enjoys cooking with staff for other residents. We are so grateful that our son is so well looked after and secure in the knowledge that the manager and her staff have always got his best interests at heart. This is apparent to us as our son has settled well and is happy living at the old vicarage.
I am very pleased with how my son's overall condition improved with the care home. Thanks to the current management and all the staff.
My son is being looked after very well and it's really noticeable. I am really happy with their service.
Highly recommended.
The rooms are nice, and the garden is big, and there is a lot of space.
The staff are kind and help me with things like cooking.
I do like the activities but do not always want to take part in them.
It should be an expert to rate the safety and security. I have given five stars because we have night staff, locks and CCTV. Staff used to sleep in and tell me off when I wanted to get a late delivery, but now we have waking nights, so that does not happen now.
My nephew has been a resident for the past year. Our family is very close, and we all wanted somewhere where we felt my nephew's needs would be met. I can’t express enough how amazing The Old Vicarage has been to date. The management and staff go above and beyond in so many ways. As heartbroken as we were to make this decision to begin residential care, we feel great comfort in knowing my nephew has the best care possible. If you want a place where it’s like a home from home and has a family feel, ‘The Old Vicarage’ is the place to choose. Thank you to all the team for their outstanding care!
I like my room, I feel that this is my safe space, and the staff respect this.
I like my fellow residents, I like their company, and I feel that we all fit well living together; it is a nice group of people, and we all get along.
I'm so pleased she is there.
The staff are all amazing and genuinely care.
They treat my daughter like a human being; she is listened to and respected, but boundaries are set when necessary.
It's always a pleasure to visit her because she is thriving, and she always has stories to tell about her days at the home and at college.
We couldn't wish for a better placement.
The staff are great and friendly, such a great staff with a fabulous manager.
The team leader is an amazing key worker who has been providing superb care for my brother; she has been looking after his health and has been excellent in all aspects of his care. We are really happy with her, and she is a great credit to Options The Old Vicarage,
We are very thankful for the services of Options The Old Vicarage and its staff. I highly recommend this place.
We visited him last week while the weather was really hot, we found him in the garden enjoying picnic with others. Staff were very kind and caring, the whole home was cool and fresh. It was breathtaking.
Best service, staff are friendly kind and caring. My brother is well looked after. Given the pandemic period they have been in touch. Of course management who are currently managing the home are very proactive. Call us to update the well-being of my brother. His key worker is very kind, caring and goes the extra mile. I will recommend this home, they are absolutely caring.
