Sweetcroft Care Home is a boutique care home set in the heart of Hillingdon and Uxbridge and offers dementia care, residential care, respite and day care.

Leaving home can be a challenging time, so to ensure the smoothest transition, Sweetcroft Care Home boasts an authentic ‘home from home’ experience to help new residents settle. Offering care for only a maximum of 21, the select group of residents can comfortably interact and form new bonds.

The bedroom suites are designed to give residents luxury, privacy and independence. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with beautiful oak furniture and the majority of the bedrooms have an en-suite. At Sweetcroft, they recognise the importance of activities and invest a lot of time in making sure you're loved ones enjoy every day. With dedicated activities co-ordinators, there is a full programme of events on a daily basis, many of which actively encourage participation from family, friends and the local community.

In beautiful surroundings, with a team of carers who are passionate about what they do each day and by aiming for excellence in every area, the care home makes the experience of living in a care home a fantastic life experience, as well as the best place to receive exceptional care.

I am very pleased that he is in your care. He is obviously very happy and settled in the home. I feel he is very well looked after and always looks very clean and tidy. The way he is joining in all the activities you arrange is an excellent high, and I think it is a good incentive considering his condition.
Reply from Jennifer Somauroo, Director at Sweetcroft Care HomeThank you for your wonderful review. It is lovely to see him joining in all the activities and creating such tight bonds and friendships with the other residents and staff. It's a joy to see any resident settle in so well and makes us very proud to see him walking again.

Mummy has been with Sweetcroft for the last 2 years. Since the new owners and manager arrived I have seen amazing improvements. I can leave Sweetcroft and know Mummy is in excellent hands. Before the new owners arrived I was coming 3 to 4 times a week as the care was very sloppy by some staff. Now lockdown
is here I am able to relax and know Mummy is really being cared for.
Reply from Jennifer Somauroo, Director at Sweetcroft Care HomeThank you for your lovely review. Everyone at Sweetcroft works very hard to provide a wonderful environment for all of the residents and it's amazing to hear such nice feedback and recognition.

I cannot thank the owners, manager and staff enough. They have made the transition for my grandfather so smooth in such difficult times. They have been so professional, compassionate and welcoming. He has settled in so well and is the happiest he has been in a long time. He really enjoys the impressive
range of activities and is always talking about how kind, caring and generous the staff are. He loves Sweetcroft and really feels at home there. I feel so reassured knowing he is being looked after to such a high standard. I highly recommend Sweetcroft.
Reply from Jennifer Somauroo, Director at Sweetcroft Care HomeWe are delighted to read that you are so happy with the care that your grandfather is receiving. It means a lot to us at Sweetcroft to know that friends and family members acknowledge the wonderful care that we give to all our residents. We are a small care home but we have a big heart and most importantly, we know all our residents and ensure that we tailor our care to their needs. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. All staff are very thoughtful and kind. They have made a special effort to make Dad feel welcome and at home. I was very touched that they were prepared to let Dad have a garden-facing room if he wanted. It is reassuring to know he is in such good and safe hands.

The level of care has been excellent to the degree that Granny and Grandpa now consider this home. Commitment and approach of staff is been beyond reproach, and it is a comfort to know that they are both together and in such good hands.

My grandad was admitted to Sweetcroft in March and what wonderful changes we have witnessed in him throughout that time. The team really do provide exceptional care and he has settled in better than we could ever have expected. We know that Sweetcroft is not the norm in the care industry as we had relatives
in other care homes who received substandard care by comparison. Sweetcroft makes what they do look easy. It's only said that all care and nursing home are not run to this superb standard, by staff and management who have expertise, compassion, kindness and understanding. The whole family couldn't be happier that grandad is in such a safe and happy environment as well as knowing he is being stimulated with meaningful activities and emotional support.
Reply from Jennifer Somauroo, Director at Sweetcroft Care HomeThank you for your lovely review of Sweetcroft. Your grandad has indeed flourished with us at Sweetcroft, and it is so lovely to see him so engaged with the residents and staff. He is a delight to have at Sweetcroft. Best wishes to you and your family.

Outstanding Outstanding Outstanding! this home is beyond anything I have ever experienced. I am a district nurse who goes into a number of care homes and as soon as we needed a home for my mother-in-law I knew it was the only home I would place her in their care. There is something new happening every
day from baking scones to playing miniature golf, to cinema nights with popcorn, hot chocolate and marshmallows. They constantly have arts and crafts going on throughout the week in the lead up to the weekly party on Friday's my mother-in-law loves it. Ont eh party's they have the food-related to the party like fish and chips for the Seaside party, Pimms and high tea for the Wimbledon party.
Reply from Jennifer Somauroo, Director at Sweetcroft Care HomeThank you for your wonderful words. It is so nice to read such positive feedback about Sweetcroft. The residents are central to all that we do. We will continue to share all the wonderful experiences online for people to see that there really are amazing care homes out there.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.953)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.953) out of 10 for Sweetcroft Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 25 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 25 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.953 for Sweetcroft Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (286 Excellents x 5) + (14 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 300 Ratings = 4.953
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Sweetcroft Care Home is based on 25 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 21 registered maximum number of service users is 4.2, which has been reached with 25 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
