Henrietta House

My relative has been at Henrietta House for almost a year now. She has settled down very well and is happy. The home is very imaginative with all the events they hold, encouraging residents, families and friends to join in. They hold quiz nights, knitting groups, gardening club, keep fit, singing and art and craft lessons.

The staff here are welcoming, professional and friendly. They provide great services and care and always provide us with the correct and appropriate information when needed.

Overall an excellent home. Management and staff all very helpful could not better it.

It is so lovely to walk into Henrietta House and be welcomed by smiles and laughter from all the staff. The care given is second to none. It is clean and tidy, and all residents are treated with respect. I would not hesitate in recommending Henrietta House to anyone who asked. All in all, a wonderful place for our loved ones.

The home has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. I like that staff interact well with the residents. They have a lot of activities. It's free to visit as and when we like night or day. The residents are involved in choices regarding changes in decor or new furniture.

I rang and made an appointment to visit the home with a view to place my mum there, after a short spell in hospital. I was made very welcome and had an excellent tour of the home. The residents were very friendly and the staff were cheerful, caring and keen to help. Mum has settled in and is gradually improving, feeling a little stronger each day.

Excellent care, many staff show genuine affection to the residents. The care home has a homely, family feel.

I have found the staff at Henrietta House to be very caring towards my cousin. She always looks clean and tidy, and the staff act upon any concerns we have straight away.

We always receive a warm welcome from the manager and staff when we visit Mum and Mum greets us with a happy smile. She is well cared for, very well fed and above all 'loved'. She is kept clean and all her personal needs are taken care of. We no longer worry that she is lonely or will have a fall as there is always someone on hand to help. She enjoys all the singing, games and animals. When she asks if she is going home and we say 'not today' she answers 'oh good!!' so what more could you ask for. Thank you so much to you all for helping to give our lives back as well as making Mum so happy.

My husband and I visited Henrietta House 4 months ago as I needed to find a care home quickly as mum was 'bed blocking in hospital' how lucky we were to find it, it may not have all the latest gizmo's ensuites bathrooms etc but the atmosphere is like home from home amazing, kind, caring staff and nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous home-cooked food too.

Very friendly, staff always very helpful. Lovely dog that all residents love. My aunt has been here several years and they have looked after her very well and have helped out in all ways.

I also hear positive comments from people who know about the home.

That's because she's not lonely anymore.

The manager and all her staff are excellent and I cannot fault any of them. Their concern for all of our safety is second to none and I knew by the 2nd day I was going to be very happy here. Congratulations to all the staff I am very happy here. Thank you so much for everything.

I feel there should be more room for residents who wish to sit quietly or walk around and receive visitors with more privacy.

Whenever I visit the care home I always find the staff bright and cheerful and I think this reflects on the residents in a good way. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and I am sure the residents appreciate this. Well done in what can be a challenging job at times.

Henrietta House, what can I say, but congratulations to a wonderful team of people. Their dedication to residents is outstanding, always treated with respect and dignity. My friend spent a month in hospital after which he had deteriorated. The team, together have progressed him well again. Its taken many weeks to achieve, which is remarkable considering his condition. My thanks go to all the team for all their hard work and kindness, not just for my friend, but for all the residents.
