The lovely care staff and management team looked after my late Grandmother in Law impeccably for 18 months during her stay at the home. She was always happy and content and whatever the day and however busy the staff were, nothing was too much trouble for them.
We visited regularly and at different
times of the day and the care never varied from the highest standards. The staff also took the time to chat, cuddle and laugh with her, and our Nanna considered this home, her home. We are blessed that her final months were as happy as they were and this is all down the attention to detail from the staff. Thank you, everyone, at Henrietta House.

I visited an old friend today. Staff were courteous and helpful and appeared caring and pleasant.
Especially impressed that one member of staff offered to do a manicure on a resident, I felt this was a nice touch.
Residents appeared well cared for with respect and dignity.
Food served was appetising
and in small attractively served portions.
Overall, very impressed.

Following a period in hospital, my father required urgent respite care at the end of November 2016. We visited Henrietta House without notice and were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic atmosphere. The staff were clearly well motivated and visibly interested in the residents and their welfare. An
art and crafts session had just finished and the residents had clearly enjoyed it.


Two months later, my father’s integration has been a complete success. The manageress and staff have been more than supportive both to my father and to my family. We have jointly overcome some early challenges, and most importantly my father is happy and settled. Thank you so much HH Team.

I found all the staff caring and cheerful. My mother is happy to be in the home. She still has her opinions on the surroundings and would be able to complain if unhappy, she likes the food (mostly) and the home is quick to make note of preferences and dislikes and they remember them.

My mother was a resident in this home for three years, and even though she did not speak English, the manager and staff went out of their way to communicate with her. During the last year, my mother's health deteriorated and she certainly kept them on their toes, but they cared for her with the utmost
professionalism and nothing was to much trouble for them, always making sure she was treated with dignity and respect.
We developed a lovely relationship with the manager and staff and my sister and I felt that we were part of a very big family.


Henrietta House is a lovely home, with a very caring manager and staff.

My aunt has been in Henrietta House for 3 years. Living a long way away I rely on staff to keep me informed of her progress.
I now know the manager and her deputy extremely well and we feel very comfortable talking openly and frankly about my aunt, her general wellbeing, medical and other needs. Although
I hold them in high regard, they have of late excelled themselves by the dedication and kindness shown to my aunt during a recent trauma involving several hospital visits. The manager, although off duty, came in on several occasions to accompany my aunt to hospital due to her high anxiety levels and was able to keep her calm and responsive to treatment.
My aunt is very happy at the home and is well cared for. Her care plan is always up to date and very comprehensive.
I have only admiration for the staff who always seem very attentive when I visit.
Whilst the staff and general care given cannot be faulted, I would like to see the owners maybe spend some money on general decoration .

Lovely home for my nan to be with super friendly and helpful staff that show 125% of care all the time. This isn't a home for my nan, it's one big sleepover for her to enjoy. This would not be possible without this home. Even if I have to earn my own tea!! :)

I couldn't wish for a better environment for mum to be in. The staff are amazing, and have truly fulfilled their calling in life! The manager, although busy, always has time for my mum. The events they do are not only for the residents but for the relatives too.
It's hard knowing your loved one doesn't
have a clue who you are but somehow they manage to soften the blow.. amazing!!

Henrietta House provides a loving caring safe house for their residents who to me comes over as a large extended family and with like all families you'll get the flare ups which staff deal with in a caring but professional manner. No matter what age or culture, Henrietta House is a loving place and
the staff do a brilliant job. Like with all families you can see and feel the strength and dignity that our older residents have. They need to feel safe, loved and understood. Henrietta House does this.

All the carers and manager were rushed off their feet due to lift breaking down. The food for those unable to walk was taken to their rooms. All staff are cheerful and caring to residents.

My mother has now been at the home over one year, not the easiest of people to deal with!! The staff at Henrietta House are very welcoming and experienced with the care they provide, which is of a very high standard. Never a problem to see mum anytime day or night. Very well kept gardens, great team
of professionals. Don't get a cup of tea and biscuits every visit!!

The staff at Henrietta House are very welcoming and the care which they provide is of a high standard. The food is very very good also the rooms are kept very tidy and are a very comfortable and safe space for my mother to feel at home in. Thanks to the hard work of the management team (who always have
an open door) and the staff, my mother has settled in really well at Henrietta House and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others!

My nanna has been at Henrietta House since January 2015. I have nothing but the highest respect for the staff at Henrietta House. They strive to make it feel homely and treat all the residents with such care and respect, giving a family feel to the place.


I visit my nanna on a daily basis and am

always made very welcome by the staff. We were also able to hold a family party for my nans 97th birthday recently and all our needs were accommodated and we had a fantastic time - thank you to all the staff.

My Nan has been a resident since January 2015. She is very happy here and I am very happy with the care she receives.
The staff are all great.
The food is good and varied, accommodating for individual needs.
Entertainment for all of the residents is provided regularly which everyone seems to enjoy,
residents and families alike.
Overall, a very good choice of care home for my Nanna.

My mother went to Henrietta House three and a half years ago following a fall and worsening dementia. It is not a purpose built care home but a converted victorian house which now serves admirably as a small comfortable residential care home. There are two lounges, one for the frailer residents and
the other where the most active ones can sit and socialise. There is a separate dining room where the more mobile residents eat. The food served is of an excellent standard and my mother quickly regained the weight she had lost when losing her ability to care for herself. However, the most outstanding aspect of this home is the dedication and commitment of all the staff and the low turnover. All the residents are treated with dignity and compassion at all times.

My mother has been in Henrietta House since June 2014 and she has always been a difficult person and with dementia, she can be more so. The staff who care for her are out of this world it's like home from home. When I visit which can be any day, anytime night or day, to me it's like walking into a family
home with all the family there. They are a great team and all of them work hard, they are all like close friends to me.

My adored mum was taken in for respite care in January 2015 and due to her deteriorating health is still there. She is so very happy to be here. I Myself and members of my family visit daily and are always made so very welcome by all the staff. Any problems which may occur can be easily discussed with
the manager (who doesn't miss anything). The home really has a lovely family atmosphere and I am quite happy for my mum to be taken care of by the wonderful patient and caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble and I have visited at various times during the day. Indeed my mum thinks she is still in her own home. That says it all as far as I'm concerned.
