Funding & Fees
Weekly Charges per Person
Cleeve Lodge offers a distinctive, fully all-inclusive private-fee model, giving residents and families greater clarity and reassurance about the cost of care.
Services that are often presented as chargeable extras elsewhere—including physiotherapy, hairdressing, podiatry and everyday sundries—are included within the Cleeve Lodge private weekly fee. This unusual approach helps families plan with confidence and avoids the worry of frequently accumulating additional charges.
Fees vary according to the resident’s assessed care needs and bedroom choice. Every family receives a clear, personalised quotation before care begins. Cleeve Lodge accepts private funding and may also accept local-authority funding, with or without a top-up, subject to an individual assessment and confirmation of the agreed funding arrangements.
The price(s) shown are provided by the care home. Contact Cleeve Lodge Residential Care Home for the Elderly for full pricing details and T&Cs.

Well staffed - residents treated with care and dignity. Well looked after.
My mother has Alzheimer's disease and was fortunate enough to move into Cleeve Lodge after my father died in February 2017. The staff at Cleeve Lodge made her so lovingly welcome at a very confusing time for her. The staff without exception got to know Mum, her likes/dislikes and interests. Consequently she settled quickly and happily and is more relaxed and happy than she has been for years. There is lots of entertainment provided in the house and when the weather is good, many outings, coffee mornings, keep fit etc. The food is amazing which is so important to the elderly. We feel so fortunate and blessed to have mum so well cared for.
The care shown to the residents is apparent throughout the home and in all interactions.
We cannot be happier that my Nana is now living here - we truly believe that this move has extended her life and greatly enhanced her quality of life!
We were always welcomed at the door by a smiling face. We highly recommend Cleeve Lodge for any future residents.
Cleeve Lodge is a wonderful care home with recent modernisation and lovely rooms for residents.
I have found everything at Cleeve Lodge of a very high standard. I believe they are in the process of creating a visitors room - which will be very welcome. I can visit at any time (in a wheelchair) and be made very welcome.
As a family, we are very happy with my husbands care. The staff are very happy to help with concerns you may have.
Extremely grateful for my husband to have been given a place in Cleeve Lodge, so close to our home in Goring, meaning myself and friends can visit him a lot. The staff are very friendly and caring, and I know he is being very well looked after in every way.
I am very happy with the home. The staff are excellent and caring.
Having made the decision to make my relative move into Cleeve Lodge. I have never regretted my decision. The staff show great patience in response to a resident who can be a little awkward. The atmosphere is always pleasant and bright. Any requests are met with enthusiasm and if practicable introduced.

Meet the Team (1)

Emma O’Connor brings almost 40 years of experience in adult social care to her role as Registered Manager of Cleeve Lodge.
Emma believes that excellent care begins with knowing the person. She takes time to learn about each resident’s life, personality, routines, interests, likes and dislikes, as well as the family members and friends who remain important to them.
Her approach is deeply personal and hands-on. Emma is highly visible throughout the home, knows residents and families personally and works closely with the team to ensure that care remains compassionate, respectful and responsive as residents’ needs change.
Emma also personally handles enquiries and tours for prospective residents and their families. She understands how difficult the decision to seek residential care can be and aims to make the process as open, supportive and reassuring as possible.
In May 2026, Emma won the Leadership Award at the Oxfordshire Care Awards, organised by the Oxfordshire Association of Care Providers. The award recognised her leadership and contribution to adult social care.
