Clara Court is a welcoming 'outstanding'-rated care home (March 2019) where a passionate and highly trained team provides quality residential, dementia and respite care for older people.

The purpose-built home has its own hair salon, café and a vintage-themed lounge, plus other shared lounges and activity spaces.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

When I go out with my daughter I usually see a carer with a lovely smile on my way down to the first door and there going out or returning I am greeted with great kindness whatever the weather - makes such a difference. I am delighted that the manager has allowed me to have some of my own paintings
displayed on my walls and some of my favourite books. This I feel is a very well-run and caring home and all who work at Clara Court are happy being there. I love garden wildlife, birds and wild flowers and I am most fortunate to e able to see the birds from my window and the flowers when I go for a walk in my chair or with my frame. Thank you Clara Court.

My father arrived at Clara Court Care Home on the 7th of March straight from hospital and, within a few days, we saw such a vast improvement in Dad. The caring team has been wonderful in helping Dad settle into his new environment. He is such a happy man and at 102, that's all we can ask for. The team

My husband spent 12 days here as a respite resident. He was so well cared for and all staff were so kind and engaged with him. My husband has dementia. When I collected him he said he enjoyed 'his holiday' and would like to come again! A really positive experience.

My mum was a resident at Clara Court Care Home for over four years. It is a wonderful home. Quiet, peaceful, a lovely garden for residents to enjoy and plenty of in-house activities. Mum had a lovely room which looked out onto the garden. Staff are so caring. They treated Mum with the utmost dignity
and respect, getting to know and understand her during the time she was there. We were always greeted by our first names when we visited and were always given as much time as we needed to talk about concerns or discuss Mum's condition. Additionally, we were always contacted if Mum was unwell or needed specific care or attention. We could not have asked for more and would recommend Clara Court to anyone looking for a safe and secure environment for an elderly loved one. Clara Court is a very well-run care home, fully deserving of its 'outstanding' CQC rating.

In the four and a half years that my mum was a resident at Clara Court Care Home in Maidenhead, we have received excellent service.
The staff always went above and beyond to help both my mother and us as a family.

My mother spent six years living and being cared for at Clara Court Care Home. Throughout that time she received the utmost care and attention to her needs. Staff were always unfailingly cheery and welcoming, even in the most difficult circumstances.
Mum enjoyed mealtimes, especially the puddings!
The food was varied and of good quality.
I was always made to feel part of the Clara Court family and there was genuine sadness and great sense of loss amongst everyone when my mother passed away.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Clara Court to anyone looking for a home for an elderly relative, especially if they have dementia. Staff are highly experienced in dealing with this disease and always treat residents with the utmost dignity and respect.

My wife and I attended a Jubilee party at Clara Court Care Home and had a lovely afternoon. The staff were happy and attentive to residents and families. There was lots of food and entertainment, such as a singer and quiz and a petting zoo. Please pass our thanks on to all staff.

Every time I visit my brother I am greeted with a warm smile as I go through the door; in fact, everybody I meet as I walk to my brother's room smile and say hello. I am extremely impressed how the manager and deputy run the home. Very organised pre-respite, during respite and post. All staff spoke to were excellent. Mum had an eye infection and they phone pre doctor and after.
If Mum had ever had to go in permanently I would choose this home and recommend to
anyone. Also future respite. Mum returned happy. This is her second visit.

From the initial assessment at home for my partner, the respect and care has been second to none. Whenever making a call or visiting there is always a welcoming voice. The manager is always open to conversation as are all the staff. Now having Covid test before visits, they are managed by the helpful
and very friendly receptionist, who goes out of her way to help both residents and relatives. Noticeable when she's away.

The manager and her amazing team have supported mum and the family with kindness through a challenging time. Mum has now been in Clara Court for a few weeks and with her mid-stage Alzheimer’s the team have done an outstanding job in supporting and settling her in. They have gone to great lengths to
make the garden visits work well for everyone. We are so pleased we were lucky enough to find such an outstanding home for mum. These carers are stars.

I visited unannounced to check suitability for my Mum. Everyone was in a meeting but still took me to see a respite room. All were very pleasant and the aura of Clara Court was good. Mum stayed three weeks and her care was exemplary. The staff from cleaners, handyman, cooks and nursing staff alike were
all very caring and circumspect. The team is very well led by its manager.

The care at Clara Court is exceptional, and they looked after my father for six years, and I could not fault this home. The staff were all so friendly and bent over backwards to help. They were very patient with my father, who was not always that easy to deal with.

An emergency admission was arranged for my mother in law. Everybody was very helpful and efficient and showed great kindness towards the whole family. They were understanding and really accommodating regarding the family needs. Would recommend them to anybody.

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve been at Clara Court since 2009, when I joined the team as a care assistant. I joined because Care UK has a clear vision for older people’s care which I believe in. I’m also passionate about providing high quality care and I want to make a difference to the lives of the people we care for.


Another rewarding part of my role is empowering colleagues to ensure that residents live their lives in the way they want. I enjoy engaging and motivating colleagues and seeing them develop and succeed.


Each day is different in this role. I enjoy having the chance to continue learning and developing my skills, and I love spending time with residents, supporting them to continue to live happy and fulfilling lives.
