Every member of staff we met in the 10 months my mother was there were professional and friendly towards my mother, my wife and I and the dedication and deserved pride in the home and the environment created for the residents, can be seen from the top down.
My mother had dementia and had already spent 3 years in another home before moving to Wild Acres and I would have no hesitation in recommending Wild Acres to anyone who was looking for a home for a loved one with dementia, it was great for my mother and also our peace of mind that we knew she was being exceptionally well cared for.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. It means a great deal to all of us at Wild Acres to know that your mother's time here brought comfort, dignity and genuine companionship - and that it gave you and your wife peace of mind too.

We're especially glad to hear this reflects consistently across the whole team, because that's exactly what we strive for: a home where every member of staff, at every level, takes real pride in the care and environment we create for our residents.
Caring for someone living with dementia is a privilege we don't take lightly, and knowing your mother settled in and was so well looked after after her previous experience elsewhere means a lot to us. Thank you again for trusting us with her care, and for such kind words.

When I arrive I always greeted with a smile, a cup of tea and any update on my wife.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. It means a great deal to the whole team at Wild Acres to know that our efforts to create a warm, welcoming environment are felt so clearly by you and your wife. We're so pleased the staff's care, attentiveness and professionalism have come through, and that the home itself feels bright and comfortable, especially with the recent hot weather. Keeping residents and visitors comfortable is really important to us.
It's also wonderful to hear that our activities programme, and the welcome you receive on arrival, have made such a positive difference. We love including family and friends in home life, whether that's over a cup of tea or at events like today's barbecue, because moments like that really do capture the family feeling we strive for every day.
Thank you again for your kind words. We'll be sure to share this feedback with the whole team, who will be absolutely delighted to read it.

Words do not fully describe how amazing Wild Acres have been. We moved my mum in on 24th January and the care and compassion they have shown my mum is incredible. Both Andrina and Harry as well as all the amazing staff have touched our hearts in so many ways. Me and my sisters were so nervous and unsure of moving my mum to a care home, but we had no reason to be. We lost my dad a year ago and since moving my mum to Wild Acres we have finally seen that wonderful smile of hers return they go above and beyond to make sure she is looked after like one of the family. We will be forever gratefully thank you for the bottom of my heart Kiran xx

The management and staff at Wild Acres were outstanding in their care and professionalism. I cannot praise them enough. The dignity which my mother was treated in her final months, was really appreciated by her and her family. Thank you Wild Acres you are a credit to your profession.

In the 8 months my mother-in-law has been at Wild Acres, the whole team from management right through to the domestic team has all been so very helpful. They are very helpful with any queries we may have. Most importantly, the move for my mother-in-law from her beloved home was made all the more smooth for them, showing absolute kindness, care and respect to her, and as a family, they are like an extended family. The atmosphere is so homely and welcoming, one of the reasons we chose it, and the manager's passion to make sure her residents are happy.

After being with my partner for 28 years, we thought it would be nice to tell my mum we have got married. So we made plans to have a civil partnership in Wokingham. We knew we could only have ourselves and two witnesses in the room at the registry office, but we wanted to involve mum on our special day, so we asked Wild Acres if we could use the conservatory at the care home to have a small gathering with my mum. Wild Acres put on a brilliant afternoon for us. Amazing buffet cake, bubbles, present and card, decorations, and the manager walked mum in to greet us arm in arm. Pictures were taken, confetti thrown. It was a magical afternoon with mum by my side. Thank you so much to Wild Acres Manager and staff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us, we are delighted that you enjoyed such a special day with mum and that you enjoyed the bubbles and buffet.

I am very happy with the care my parents have received at Wild Acres over the last 6 months. The staff are friendly, caring and understanding. Andrina, the Care Home Manager, has provided very helpful advice when needed. Andrina also helped with the transition of moving my parents from their home (where they were not coping well) into the care home. Dad enjoyed being at Wild Acres, and he was able to let go of his responsibilities and worries. It is a relief to know that mum, who has advanced Alzheimer's, has got company and activities to keep her occupied in the care home. Thank you to everyone at Wild Acres for the impeccable care you have shown my parents.

The home put on a lovely party as my brother and his girlfriend had got married. Lovely room decorated and with balloons, cake, food drinks, tea and coffee etc, and a wedding present from my brothers elderly mother-in law. Made to feel welcome and enjoyed the experience of a well run care home. Thank you.

Our son got married on the 1st of August. We were very concerned how mum was going to be able to attend. Wild Acres very kindly offered to put everything in place so she could celebrate her grandson's special day. They arranged for mum to have her hair done in the morning and paid special attention to getting her ready from applying her make up to getting her dressed. She arrived by taxi with someone to look after her every need all day. She left later that afternoon happy and tired. Costs were covered by Wild Acres of that we are truly grateful for everything they did for us and for mum. Absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much for your feedback, we are so pleased to hear and learn that mum enjoyed such a special day that meant so much to her.

Unfortunately, I have had many experiences visiting relatives in care homes, but I can honestly say that Wild Acres stands out as the best care home I have come across by a country mile. Long may it continue.

The standard of care here is at a level that all of our family who visit regularly would describe as excellent. The additions of particular focuses on extra curricular activities provide valuable social interactions as well as added benefits of movement and concentrations which mum clearly much enjoys. The interest shown by all the staff members is a credit to the supportive leadership, in so much as we feel that the care is a prerequisite of the roles, and the staff perform their duties with a genuine interest in the well being of the residences a whole.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us, we are very pleased to hear and learn about your experience of Wild Acres.
The review was extremely thorough with all aspects discussed in detail, patiently explained, and all queries answered. Special mention of an offer from home to assist with transport and carer support for mum to attend a family wedding.
