When I visited my mother-in-law it was wonderful to see how well presented she was, matching clothing, hair looking lovely and happy within herself. The team at Wild Acres are outstanding in how they treat every resident with the utmost dignity and respect not to mention us as relatives. I always feel
so very welcomed when I visit and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much for taking outstanding care of my mother-in-law.

Our Dad died on 9th December, Wild Acres having been his home since September 2022. He had dementia but still took pleasure in music and his food up to the last week of his life.


The staff have been wonderful with Dad - they got to know him quickly and we felt very lucky to have found such a small

and caring place for Dad's final days.


There have been many social events organised at the home - including on Dad's 87th birthday in November when there was a singer and party food. We were there, with former neighbours and friends. We were able to have a convivial gathering with Dad and he enjoyed the attention (and the chocolate cake)!


Dad's health took a sudden downturn not long after his birthday. My brother and I tried to be with him when we could but were reassured that Dad would not be left alone. On a few days the Care Manager moved her office into his room and other members of staff stood in when she was unable to. Thank you all so much. You are a fantastic team.

My aunt has been at Wild Acres for five years and is so happy there! There is a real family feel, and everyone is included and looked after.
The Xmas activity programme has been superb!
All the carers are amazing and go the extra mile, but extra needs to be said about one member of staff who cares
so much about all the residents. We are so grateful for all the love you give to our aunt.
Well done to the manager and the whole team for another amazing year.

My mum has been at Wildacres for 18 months now and is the happiest I have seen her for a long time.
The staff are very welcoming, friendly and approachable, and nothing is too much trouble with the care they provide.
There are always plenty of activities for the residents and families to participate
in, especially so in the run-up to Christmas, including a lovely Christmas party with entertainment.
The food is good and the accommodation comfortable.
I would definitely recommend Wildacres.

Absolutely amazing!
My mum has been here for nearly two years after being moved from a previous home, and wow, the care, love and support they have given to Mum and the family is just great.

I have been to a couple of the many Christmas activities that have been organised and there have been many, I have and am sure the residents have loved the lead-up to Christmas including a wonderful Christmas party which was full to the brim with family members as well, the home provided an amazing
buffet free of charge. The activities team and all the staff doing an amazing job.

The staff at Wild Acres care home are always most attentive to my uncle. He enjoys living there as he is unable to live alone in his own home. They all looked after his needs, and it gives us all peace of mind knowing that he is well cared for.

A care that goes beyond this one word. My father has passed the last ten years here in the most comforting way. The attention and love that he is given is enormous. For the people surrounding him, and in fact all the residents, this is more than a profession, it is a vocation.

The home is taking exceptionally good care of my mother. It is well staffed home all of which are extremely friendly and caring. In my opinion, she could not be better cared for anywhere else.

Overall outstanding care, friendliness and kindness all around. When visiting the care home I feel welcomed, at home and up to date with weekly activities. The annual summer fete is very fun and gives residents and their loved ones opportunities to get to know one another and it is fabulous to see all
the residents enjoying themselves. The setting is clean and the correct PPE is worn at all times.

Mum has lived in Wild Acres over a year now and everyone involved with her care have gone above and beyond to really get to know her and to allow her to be herself and thrive in the home environment. She has a challenging diagnosis which requires a lot of support which is very well managed. But when
she is up and active she is encouraged and supported with her passions including gardening, birdwatching, crochet, jigsaws, and cooking. Her enthusiasm is infectious to all around her and the home embrace her at every opportunity. She is given a lot of opportunity to garden if she feels like it but always has a monitor and staff keep an eye on her so she feels safe. The bungalow layout is great - all on one level and well connected. Home is located to the south of Finchampstead away from roads and adjacent to endless countryside and space. It is a great environment. Finally, staff welcome me as part of family and I cherish time in the home with them all. We are all a part of a solution. Thank you!

My father moved to Wild Acres in March 2020. From day one, Dad was made to feel welcome and has settled so well. His room is very comfortable and light and the bungalow just makes it easy for him to move from his room to the communal living areas and garden patio overlooking the fields. The daily activities
and entertainment are great and we enjoy catching up with the regular updates and photos on Facebook. Most importantly, the team are amazing. They are kind and attentive to Dad's needs. The respect and positiveness shown to all residents are heart-warming and we would have no hesitation in recommending this homely, safe and professionally run care home. My dad is happy!

My father took up residency in January 2022, from his first day of entry he was made very welcome which eased my fear of him taking up a new home. The staff are very professional, always helpful and friendly. The residence is spotlessly clean and well-kept. I am very happy with the choice (Wild Acres)

We were offered four care homes when it became obvious that Mum needed professional care. We chose Wild Acres as soon as we saw it and looked at their online pictures. We have been very pleased with the premises, the staff and the care that Mum has been shown. She went to Wild Acres in a very poor state
having been in hospital with five broken ribs and a pacemaker fitted. The difference in her now has been nothing short of remarkable and she is very content to be there.

We were so lucky to have found Wild Acres for Mum. Having looked at the website, we really liked what we saw. The residents enjoying so many activities, indoors and outside on the patio. The location of the home seemed relaxed and homely, unfortunately, due to covid we haven't been inside. But we are
pleased that Mum has a lovely big room with a beautiful outlook. The staff have been brilliant in all aspects of Mum's care. Mum seems settled and happy.

I have been visiting my brother at Wild Acres every week since last year. He always looks clean and tidy, with hair regularly washed. He appears very happy and contented and I know he enjoys the food. He can no longer speak but he interacts with the staff so well, they seem to know exactly what he wants.
I am his legal guardian so I need to be absolutely sure and I am, I know he is in the best place. It is a very good home.

Mum has been at the home throughout lockdown, meaning it has been harder to create good relationships. Despite this, I feel I know the carers well and I trust and appreciate their care for her. They are clearly fond of her and feedback little anecdotes to me. As with any home, there have been little
issues to raise. These have been dealt with quickly and taken seriously- I know staff and managers listen to my opinions. I recommend the home to others.

Andrina our Registered Manager always ensures we provide high-quality individual care in a nurturing and engaging environment so all our residents can live happy and fulfilling lives.


Andrina always goes that extra mile to ensure both residents and families are happy with the service we provide here at Wild Acres.”


Andrina was previously Dementia Lead/Unit Manager for five years for a large Wokingham care home and before this with another care provider in Wokingham, where Andrina worked her way up from Care Assistant to Training Support Manager/Crisis Management Team over a period of 17 years.


Andrina is currently working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, having already achieved a Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Andrina graduated from Oxford and Worcestershire University In June 2020 as a Dementia Coach.
