Lent Rise House care home provides a calm and relaxing environment for older people requiring nursing and dementia nursing care. The experienced and skilled care team are skilled in providing care and support that meets each individual’s unique needs.

The team encourage independence and choice whilst maintaining a friendly atmosphere throughout the home. A beautiful outdoor space enables everyone to enjoy the fresh air or tend to the chickens in the garden.

Fabulous place, well kept, clean and professional. Great staff who go above and beyond. The caretaker of my aunt is fabulous. I visited her in October and was able to visit her several times during my brief stay. She was very well dressed and cared for. I call my elderly aunt from the US every month
and I sing to her as she has no words, and as she has no relatives in the UK. This staff member arranges my call with her so that I can see her and stay in touch. She emails me to confirm the apt. Who does that nowadays? She is loyal and kind to my aunt and helps me to stay connected. How can I submit a review without mentioning her name? I am eternally grateful to her for arranging these Skype calls and for giving me peace of mind about my most favourite living relative.

I attended the Lent Rise Christmas Party today. It was such a touching experience. The home is staffed by simply the best people. Even folk on their day off came along to help make the event fun. There was an amazing tea provided by the kitchen team. The singer was brilliant, and the atmosphere was
just lovely. I wish so many ways that my dad wasn't in a care home but given he has to be there really isn't anywhere else I'd rather he was! Thank you Lent Rise.

My mother has been a resident at Lent Rise home for six and a half years during this time she has always been treated with kindness, love and dignity. During the very difficult times of covid, we had total peace of mind. She was safe at all times and any change of health issues with my mother we were
always informed and kept up to date. During the last week of my mother's life, the staff were amazing ensuring mother was comfortable and pain-free. We as a family were always made welcome and treated with respect and able to be with our mother 24/7 in the last days.

My mother was in Lent Rise nursing home for six and a half years. She has had excellent care over the years. The staff have always been very caring and patient with her. In the early years, she loved all the activities and entertainment. As her dementia worsened, it was not so practical for her to attend,
which was a shame. Her end-of-life care was superb. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff were so compassionate. Thank you.

How can we ever thank the staff at Lent Rise for the wonderful care that they gave our mother during the last 18 days of her life? Although mum's stay was short, she received the most fantastic nursing care and kindness and was given the dignity that she so deserved. During my visits, the staff were
all so kind, caring and compassionate towards me and I knew that mum was in safe hands. To know that mum was up, dressed and having companionship and stimulation was so important to my sister and myself. Mum's quality of life was enhanced so much. The staff were very experienced in the care of those with Alzheimer's and had a wealth of knowledge in knowing how to handle the many issues that mum had. We will be forever grateful that mum went to Lent Rise.

It is always a pleasure to visit my ex-neighbour in Lent Rise House. The staff are very welcoming and the place has a happy atmosphere. It was the same when I visited my husband, daily, some years back. Standards seem as high now as they were then.

The care my Mum has received in the last year has been excellent. The staff are friendly, approachable and professional. They are sympathetic to Mum’s needs and really care about her welfare. Lent Rise House is spotlessly clean, the food is great and the overall ambience is very welcoming.

My mother was a resident at Lent Rise House for the last couple of years of her life, during some very testing times for the home with Covid. At all times we were very happy with the care she received from the staff from the day-to-day care to celebrating her birthdays. There were times when the staffing
numbers were lower than they should really be, but the staff that were there always worked hard to cover the staffing shortage.
When it came to her last days they were very supportive and made sure we could visit her as much as possible. They also made sure we kept informed of her condition which allowed members of the family to be with her when she passed, which made sure she wasn't on her own.

My mum was at Lent Rise for 3 weeks of respite care after an operation. Although she had to self isolate for the first two weeks due to COVID restriction the staff looked after her really well, were attentive and caring.

Given the extreme circumstances that have prevailed with the pandemic, I can only praise the dedication and diligence of the Lent Rise staff. We have had regular updates with regards to Mum and visits have been facilitated under strict covid regulations when possible.
The staff are always friendly
and accommodating and, I know, take great care of Mum. The weekly Skype calls are a comfort.

In these unusual times it's really hard not being able to see my dad so it's even more important than ever to know that he's well looked after by the Lent Rise team. They care for his every need, as you'd expect, but they also take the time to chat with him and make him smile for which I'll be eternally

My mum has been in Lent Rise House for nearly two years. I have always been so impressed with everyone at Lent Rise, each carer really goes the extra mile to look after their residents. I really feel like my mum isn’t just being physically looked after but also mentally cared for and I couldn’t ask
for more. Management, processes, living environments are all great. I would strongly recommend it to anyone that is thinking about attending this care home. Oh and the chef is great, my mum is always raving about the food which is diverse, healthy, diabetic friendly and tastes great. Well done all.

Our mother is extremely well cared for at Lent Rise. We rest easy knowing she is in good hands, with the best care. Mum has had fantastic care from Lent Rise House with covid they are very compliant and, although we have not been able to visit, we have been kept up to date and have Skype calls with Mum she is happy and smiles a lot which is lovely to see. This comes from the staff's care of Mum. She is not distressed,
even with her dementia. Mum has been in Lent Rise for over a year and we as a family, although difficult for us, are pleased with the excellence they offer here. A massive thanks to all involved.
