Lent Rise House

Auntie moved into Lent Rise House in March 2023 following a fall at home where she broke her leg. It has taken a while to adjust but she is now happy at the home. The staff are very good, caring, kind and respectful. They take time to get to know people and keep me well informed.

Mum has been here for 8 years now. The staff are extremely kind, caring and professional. If we ever have any questions or concerns they are always addressed.

My mother has been a resident at Lent Rise for over three years and I cannot fault the care she has received from all staff over that time and how they have responded to her increasing needs.

The range of activities offered to all residents, dependent on their needs and interests is exceptional.

I am very fortunate to have found a Care Home where I have complete confidence that my mother is well cared for and her dignity respected.

On the husband's request, myself and the husband visited his wife on a regular basis. The care home staff from the management team to the carers were always very welcoming and friendly. They always had a smile on their faces. Our lady was always well dressed and looking her best. She had gained weight so she was very well looked after very impressed with this care home.

Lent Rise House will always be very special to our family, I don't think you guys really know how special you are to us, but you are. I actually miss going there. Thanks be to God that there are people like you in this world, feeling blessed is not a strong enough word. Thanks to all the staff past and present.

The staff always have time to speak to the relatives and keep me informed if anything is needed for my aunt, for example arranging the delivery for her TV remote that she had lost.

Lovely members of staff taking care of my grandparents. Both seem in good health (as well as can be!) all staff I’ve interacted with are friendly kind and efficient. Grandparents seem happy with their care and happy to stay.

Very clean and comfortable home. My parents are very well looked after and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous place, well kept, clean and professional. Great staff who go above and beyond. The caretaker of my aunt is fabulous. I visited her in October and was able to visit her several times during my brief stay. She was very well dressed and cared for. I call my elderly aunt from the US every month and I sing to her as she has no words, and as she has no relatives in the UK. This staff member arranges my call with her so that I can see her and stay in touch. She emails me to confirm the apt. Who does that nowadays? She is loyal and kind to my aunt and helps me to stay connected. How can I submit a review without mentioning her name? I am eternally grateful to her for arranging these Skype calls and for giving me peace of mind about my most favourite living relative.

I attended the Lent Rise Christmas Party today. It was such a touching experience. The home is staffed by simply the best people. Even folk on their day off came along to help make the event fun. There was an amazing tea provided by the kitchen team. The singer was brilliant, and the atmosphere was just lovely. I wish so many ways that my dad wasn't in a care home but given he has to be there really isn't anywhere else I'd rather he was! Thank you Lent Rise.

My mother has been a resident at Lent Rise home for six and a half years during this time she has always been treated with kindness, love and dignity. During the very difficult times of covid, we had total peace of mind. She was safe at all times and any change of health issues with my mother we were always informed and kept up to date. During the last week of my mother's life, the staff were amazing ensuring mother was comfortable and pain-free. We as a family were always made welcome and treated with respect and able to be with our mother 24/7 in the last days.

My mother was in Lent Rise nursing home for six and a half years. She has had excellent care over the years. The staff have always been very caring and patient with her. In the early years, she loved all the activities and entertainment. As her dementia worsened, it was not so practical for her to attend, which was a shame. Her end-of-life care was superb. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff were so compassionate. Thank you.

How can we ever thank the staff at Lent Rise for the wonderful care that they gave our mother during the last 18 days of her life? Although mum's stay was short, she received the most fantastic nursing care and kindness and was given the dignity that she so deserved. During my visits, the staff were all so kind, caring and compassionate towards me and I knew that mum was in safe hands. To know that mum was up, dressed and having companionship and stimulation was so important to my sister and myself. Mum's quality of life was enhanced so much. The staff were very experienced in the care of those with Alzheimer's and had a wealth of knowledge in knowing how to handle the many issues that mum had. We will be forever grateful that mum went to Lent Rise.

It is always a pleasure to visit my ex-neighbour in Lent Rise House. The staff are very welcoming and the place has a happy atmosphere. It was the same when I visited my husband, daily, some years back. Standards seem as high now as they were then.

My husband has been a resident here for nearly three years and we cannot praise the staff highly enough for their constant kindness and loving care. He really could not be better looked after. Many, many thanks.

The care my Mum has received in the last year has been excellent. The staff are friendly, approachable and professional. They are sympathetic to Mum’s needs and really care about her welfare. Lent Rise House is spotlessly clean, the food is great and the overall ambience is very welcoming.

My mother spent just over 2 years at Lent Rise House until she sadly passed away. The care given to her in that time was absolutely wonderful. The carers, nurses and admin were a fantastic team with their help with my mum and family. Thank you to all.
