White Plains Care Home

The staff and management are very caring and I feel confident that Dad receives the best care and help he could wish for. I am relieved he is in a secure and caring environment particularly as his dementia has progressed and his mobility and physical strength are diminishing. I am very happy that he is so well looked after.

My parents have been in White Plains for just over a year and I am very impressed with the care, friendliness and expertise of all the staff who make an effort to get to know the people they care for. I'm always updated with any issues or changes in medicine. My parents arrived in the last lockdown in January 2021 and even though I couldn't visit for about six weeks I knew they were being very well looked after which was a relief to me. I'm impressed that the staff always know who I am when I visit and remember my name - which is such a lovely personal touch. The home is very clean and inviting with a beautiful large garden and a lovely little cottage at the side of the garden. The food looks amazing too. I would recommend White Plains with flying colours. Thank you for the care of my parents.

When I visit my wife I never hear a word of complaint about the staff, the facilities or the food. Everything appears to be very well organised and the recent significant changes of staff have gone very well.

The staff provide wonderful care to my aunt. They are committed, professional, kind and considerate and have gone out of their way and beyond the call of duty to care for and help my aunt through a very difficult time. Thank you to all of the staff, your contribution to the happiness and well-being of my aunt is really appreciated.

White Plains is by far the best care home I have ever seen. We have been associated with them for 7 years and have been delighted with everything from the environment and the staff to the very professional and caring level of service. White Plains Care Home has been the perfect care home for my uncle. The management and staff have recognised that whilst he has dementia, he is nevertheless very fit, active and sociable and he has been allowed freedom to walk within the home grounds without restriction. He has been very happy and secure for the year that he has been a resident. The staff and management are caring and very professional. This is a wonderful care home.

Thank you all so much for caring so wonderfully for our dear friend over the last 12 months. He was loved and cared for by everyone at White Plains, and we always felt so welcome when we visited. He loved the spacious grounds, really enjoyed his food, and we thank God for the care he was given on a daily basis.

From the point of the first contact to the now continuing care for my mother, the service provided by White Plains has been exceptional. White Plains has a very homely feel to it which is chiefly due to all the staff there who are all friendly, caring and professional in their approach. White Plains always smells and looks fresh and clean. Staff are friendly, caring and professional. Residents and staff are friendly, chatty and relaxed with each other and with we visitors. My friend feels at home now and enjoys the many activities and themed days plus contact with groups from the neighbourhood. Every effort is made for a varied and interesting life for residents and visitors alike. Days out are varied and enjoyable too. The atmosphere makes White Plains a lovely place to visit.

I felt very welcome here. The staff were very kind and considerate. I liked the activities, quizzes and crosswords. I hope to come again my only thing I found difficult was my bed as I have a bad hip so next time I will bring my hopper. I enjoyed the food and the company.

I have had Parkinson's Disease for 10 years. I needed a holiday break away from my home and carers. White Plains was the perfect choice for me. I had visited twice for a tour and the warm welcome assured me I was making the right choice. The hugs on leaving made me confident that should my move need to be permanent, the choice was made.

During the time my mother has been a resident at White Plains, it has entirely met her needs in their support, caring in a friendly and professional way.

The management are extremely supportive to residents and their families when decisions need to be made, giving us peace of mind.

This is the second time my mum has had a week's respite at White Plains in Denham. What a find! From the moment I made an enquiry, I was impressed. The management and all her staff are amazing. A lovely home in all respects. Very well maintained with super facilities and garden. Outstanding staff - the managerial staff, in particular, were exceptionally warm, jolly and welcoming. My mother-in-law was anxious about staying but greatly enjoyed the experience. She was stimulated by good company and activities and her stay proved to be a great tonic. Well done and thank you!

White Plains has a lovely "family atmosphere" which is underpinned by a high standard of professional and holistic care. My mother had been living alone for many years prior to taking up residence there and had become somewhat insular finding it difficult to mix. However, she settled into the home with unexpected ease and is very happy there which is in no small part due to the care, supervision and stimulation (to include structured activities on most days) afforded by the staff.
