The home is clean and interesting, with lots for residents to do and I have no problem with giving it my seal of approval.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's heartening to hear that Peg was cared for with kindness and attention, especially during such a difficult transition. Your reassurance about the team and environment at Ashlyn will mean a lot to others in similar situations.
The staff are always very attentive and helpful in all that they do, as is the manager. All in all, a very well run care home.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly glad to hear that you and your brother feel well cared for. Our team, including the manager, works hard to provide attentive and compassionate support, and your feedback means a lot to us!
We wasn't sure how it would work out but with help from the staff my cousin is now settled in his new home , we have made his room his own, nothing is too much trouble when I've asked.
He was very reliant on me with 60 or more calls a day even with seeing him daily , no more.
Ashlyn's is perfect for him, very clean, he loves the food and he is no longer lonely at any time .
All the staff are very helpful, the managers door is always open which for me is a must .
I understand that some days he may not be as happy but I know that having the care staff around 24,7 , will help with any worries he has.
Thank you so much for sharing this - it really means a lot to hear how well your cousin is settling in and how supported you all feel. It's wonderful that Ashlyn's is providing such a positive and caring environment for him. We're here for both of you every step of the way, and please don't hesitate to reach out whenever you need.
My mum has been a resident here for the last year. She always feels safe and happy. She loves the activities every day and will be in the lounge from first thing in the morning until bed time. My mum is very sociable and has made friends with other residents. The staff are amazing and my mum has nothing but praise and affection for them. Her general health has improved so much from being in Ashlyn's and she is so much stronger than when she first moved in last year. As her daughter I couldn't ask for anything more than seeing my mum so happy living here & knowing she is safe
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear how happy and settled your mum is at Ashlyn's. It's wonderful to know she's enjoying the daily activities, making friends, and feeling stronger and healthier. Your kind words mean a great deal to our team - we're proud to care for such a special lady and to give you peace of mind.
I can tell you in less than 200 words. Ashyln Care Home, in my opinion, is the best; it has turned itself around in the last few months. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I feel that it is the little things that they do that make it so special; they deserve a better rating than good.

We couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care our loved one has received at Ashlyns. From the moment we first visited, we were welcomed with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. The staff go above and beyond-not only meeting physical needs, but also offering emotional support and companionship.
The atmosphere is always clean, comfortable, and homely. There's a real sense of community here, with engaging activities, freshly prepared meals, and a team that truly treats residents like family. Communication with the family is excellent; we are always kept informed and involved.

I'm not a resident of Ashlyn Care home but our friend is and from the visits I've made over the last month, all of the staff appear to be dedicated to their work and are always friendly, thoroughly professional and willing to help residents and visitors in any way they can. Even with my limited experience from what I've seen, the care the residents receive is outstanding and I would recommend Ashlyn to anyone in need of a care home.

My father went into Ashlyn Care Home initially for respite but he is now due to become a permanent resident, he has dementia and all the staff look after him very well. They are caring and professional and nothing seems too much trouble for them. My father has started to eat much better since being in the home and he has made some real connections with the staff, which is wonderful.

My aunt has lived at Ashlyn house for 18 months, she was quite poorly when she arrived from hospital, but with wonderful care from exceptional staff she is thriving, and today celebrated her 100th birthday, to say the staff and community went above and beyond today was an understatement, all we can say is a massive thank you to everyone, bringing our aunt here was the best decision we've made
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. We are absolutely delighted to hear how well your aunt is doing and feel privileged to have been part of such a special milestone in her life. It means a great deal to our team to know that our care and support have made a positive difference. Thank you again for your trust and support.
As always I have enjoyed my stay here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food choices could be better.
Thank you for your kind review, it is always lovely to see you when you stay at Ashlyn's. It is important for us to receive feedback from people using the service as it helps the team and I review our practices and make changes where necessary to ensure that everyone's stay is a positive experience. Thank you again for taking the time to review Ashlyn and the team and I wish you well.
When my mum came for her respite, there was initially a problem with the bed, but it was sorted out immediately, and the staff were amazing. The manager, deputy manager and receptionists all spoke to me and made sure I was happy. They were so helpful and friendly.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review of Ashlyn Care Home. We are pleased that your mother's respite stay went well and the team were so helpful to you. We will pass on your lovely comments to the team.
I am overall happy with my mum's care, but on occasions as she is immobile she has to wait to go to the bathroom, which I find frustrating. I think there should be more carers and equipment in the home. The ones who are there are brilliant. Sadly, a lot of carers have left, which is a great shame. Also more tea and coffee should be provided.
The home is always clean and put on activities for the residents.
Thank you for taking the time to write this five-star review of Ashlyn Care Home. We are pleased to hear your father-in-law is happy and that you love visiting. We will pass on your comments to the team.
Thank you for a pleasant stay. Well looked after, miss you on leaving. The kindness of the staff, care and expertise goes a long way.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review, we will pass your kind comments on to the team.
A well run caring home with excellent staff.
We are very happy with Ashlyns. Our mu has settled in well. We find the staff from reception, domestic and care all very pleasant and helpful to us. Mum has got quite attached to some of the cares, who are very patient with her so it's been sad to see one or two of them leave.
We always get a warm welcome when we arrive to see Mum. Staff are very helpful from all departments. We are listened to and action is taken when we have any concerns. Mum has not been so contented for a number of years, so thank you Ashlyn's, for your professional care, support and love for my mum. We know it is not always easy!
