Colne House Care Home is situated in the village of Earls Colne, and the Georgian building is set within spacious landscaped gardens with views of Colne Valley.

The care at Colne House places a special emphasis on Dementia and Mental health care, and also has skills to care for younger people with dementia in an annex adjacent to the main home.

The home cares for up to 38 people, and promotes the need for the resident to feel safe in the homely environment. The staff are available 24 hours a day and understand the importance of maintaining the emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing of the people in their care, adapting the level of care to each individual.

Thank you for the very professional care of my mother and stepfather over the last 18 months. The staff are very caring and helpful always going the extra mile with their care. Colne House was welcoming always spotlessly clean and warm.

The manager and the staff are all amazing and welcoming. The home itself is clean, welcoming, friendly and relaxed. My mother is very happy here and loves all the carers. She is well cared for and communication between myself and Colne House is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Mum's room is light
and airy and personalised how she likes it. It's a home-from-home.

My mother entered the care home recently and so far I cannot fault the care she has received. The staff are very caring, helpful and patient. They are always available to answer any questions we have. My mother has settled in very quickly. She is always clean and enjoys taking part in various activities
on offer. She has a lovely room with great views. We as a family are very pleased with her care. Mum is not keen on the food.

Whenever I see my grandfather he always appears well looked after and comfortable. Staff are caring and considerate and this is demonstrated consistently during my visits. I currently live abroad and am grateful my visits are easy to acquire and appear no issue or burden for the staff or home.

My dad is very well looked after. Staff are extremely caring and know the residents very well, dealing with them as individuals and with affection and respect. Their physical health is taken seriously and any concerns are acted on swiftly. We are treated very well as relatives and made to feel welcome

We had a crisis caused by last month's storms and Colne House Care Home went above and beyond to help us get our mother in Colne House over the weekend.
So far the service has been excellent and my mother has settled in well. We are very happy so far with Colne House.

Both my parents have been cared for by the amazing staff at Colne House. Sadly my father passed away in 2019 but my mother is still living here and as a family, we could not wish for her to be anywhere better. It really does feel like home. The staff have worked extremely hard through this difficult

Very caring and well looked after, always made to feel welcome. Nothing is enough, always treated with care and compassion, more like a home than a care home. I am not concerned at all at my wife's care and knowing she is safe and well looked after. The staff are excellent, with fantastic meals and

This is a very good care home. There is no regimentality. Residents are not made to get up, washed and dressed ready for day staff coming on shift. My resident has sometimes not gone to bed til late and has been allowed to lay-in in the morning. The staff are all very caring and helpful. They also arrange
a lot of activities. The food is very good and lots of choice.

The house is friendly and all staff are happy to the residents. Staff are very supportive and helpful. I can't fault them. Room His room is good and clean and his view to the outside is very good. Rooms are warm and comfortable as is the house. Food is good. The staff are good and willing to tell you
about any issue. An overall excellent facility in both care and support. Would recommend this home to anyone.

My husband and I have three young children, so being patient and keeping them busy and entertained is one of my biggest qualities. As a family, we enjoy playing sports together, and we often travel to Spain to visit my family, as I am originally from Barcelona.
