I would be happy to recommend this care home to all.

I have been most impressed by the love, care and attention that my brother has received at Great Horkesley Manor.

I visit my friend on a regular basis and she seems so happy and comfortable here, the staff are so helpful and friendly. Everytime I visit there is always an activity going on and it's lovely to see the residents not just sitting in their rooms. The cleanliness of the home is fantastic. I would recommend the home to anybody for their loved ones.

Management are always around and check on me as well. I recommend this home.

Everything excellent except the garden which needs a little more work.

It is a very thoughtful place with all carers thinking of residents and visitors. A very helpful and caring environment to be in.

The home is decorated with all new furniture and lots of areas to use for residents and families. Go and see for yourself, you'll love it.

I've always found the staff here to be extremely committed and to demonstrate excellent caring skills in the way they interact with the residents. Overall, I'm very happy that we chose Great Horkesley Manor to be dad's home.

Mum broke her hip in December, but due to the trauma of the fall, the operation etc, she was assessed to go into a care home. I have only appreciation and praise for the staff, management and the high standards of care she receives, they are loving to mum, made us (the family) reassured and ultimately what is important to us as a family id the high level of care she receives from a loving team of carers.

My mother has been resident in Great Horkesley Manor for over 3 years. During the latter part of this time, I have seen significant improvements, both internally and externally, to the home. This is much to the benefit of residents and visitors. We recently enjoyed an excellent afternoon of outdoor entertainment to the obvious enjoyment of all. I continue to be very pleased with the level of care my mother receives and am grateful to the staff for all their hard work.

From the moment of entering the home, we were greeted by friendly and caring staff. Over the past few weeks, they have been very understanding and helped us as a family to make the decision of moving my brother into the home. We know this was the best decision. We have never looked back. Thank you to Great Horkesley Manor.

I was in there for several hours each day and all the staff were extremely helpful in any request I made. Although my son was unable to communicate this was not a problem for the staff and they went out of their way to include him at every turn. For his needs, I do not think we could have chosen better.

The home as a whole is, in my opinion ,thriving. There is a new cinema which the residents love, the team now work as a team, the home seems to have a whole new structure over the last year. Staff/management are very approachable and the housekeeping team friendly and so good with residents. The new activities are exciting and inviting.

Mum came to Horkesly Manor 3 weeks ago for respite care. All the team have done a truly fantastic job looking after Mum. They made her feel so at home and were very caring and attentive nothing was ever too much for any of them. The rooms were spotless and had everything she needed. Thanks to every single member of staff for making my mum so comfortable and putting all her family's mind at rest that she was in good hands.

My nan has lived in the home for a couple of years, we are happy with her care and the home is improving. Staff are lovely and friendly and management are approachable. Would recommend the home to anyone.

My father has been at Great Horkesley Manor for over a year now, he had to move from a home he loved. He settled in well. His bedroom was decorated including curtains to his taste and choice. His dog lives with him, when dad is unwell the staff take his dog home if necessary. I can highly recommend Great Horkesley Manor to anyone that is looking for a nice friendly good loving home. The standard has improved in the last year.

My wife has been a resident at this care home for almost a year now, she seems to be very happy and content there. The staff are very friendly and comforting, making my wife feel very secure and content. She always looks forward to her meals and tells me she enjoys them. The home is always clean and tidy when I visit, and her clothes are well laundered and well presented. The manager is very efficient and is always looking at ways to improve the home and surroundings, to give the clients warm and homely surroundings.

My friends have been residents for the last 18 months and their stay has been made easier due to the expert care. The many activities made available to them has been invaluable to them and the care they received from these ladies is all instrumental in the transition from "home" to "home". The supreme effort made to help them celebrate birthdays etc really is appreciated. Long may it continue. Always smiling.

The staff at Horkesley Manor have given my mum amazing care and treated her as if she was a member of family. Nothing is ever too much trouble when you ask for something to be action, they do it almost immediately. Would highly recommend.

The home is being decorated and looks lovely. The management team are very supportive.
