My mum is really happy at The Haven, I couldn’t have chosen a better place for her to be. They make her feel part of a family. She says she will never move out.

The staff at The Haven are great and there always seems to be some type of activity taking place. I am really happy with the level of care my father receives and I'm sure he feels very much at home and safe at The Haven.

The staff at The Haven are extremely friendly and caring, my mum is doing really well. Her mobility has improved and she is content.
There are lots of activities for the residents, they are always thinking of new things to do for the residents to keep them stimulated.

My mum came into the Haven in 2015. She has just recently celebrated her 97th birthday and she is very happy here and I'm extremely grateful for the care that she's being given. There is a whole variety of food, activities and social entertainment which myself and mum join in. I would like to think that the care home would give me a permanent home if and when I needed it.

Couldn’t praise The Haven enough! My nan has been there for a while now and is always happy and well fed, the food is always lovely, and they even have their own snacks in their rooms. The Haven hold lots of events/activities for the family to attend and always go the extra mile! All of the staff are lovely and polite and there to help. Being able to visit at any time is a bonus too as living far away sometimes it's hard to know when we will get there. Always welcoming when we arrive. Thanks to everyone at The Haven.

Staff treat residents with care and compassion and are always willing to help with any queries, they keep me well informed of dads health. The new Tovertafel table is wonderful I have a go at it regularly. I think this will be very beneficial to residents to stimulate them. I have seen them use it, very happy with what home does.

I have no complaints about day staff, sometimes things go missing from my husband's room and turn up in various places in the care home. This only happens with the night staff.

My mum has been poorly recently and I cannot thank the staff enough, not only for the care they provide for my mum but their concern for me.
They are all very caring and thoughtful.

It's lovely there is no restriction on visiting times and the standard of choice of food and drinks are brilliant.

Very professional and patient when trying to converse with my mother when assessing her to see if they could meet her care needs.
Reassured me that she would be happy and settle in with the other residents.
I could visit/call them anytime if I had any concerns.
The room is adequate for her needs.
The staff are very polite, helpful and approachable.
The food is excellent.
Mum is free to roam around anywhere within the home.
Whatever time the family visited mum, she was happy and content.

I cannot give the same level of care that The Haven can.

My husband was brought to this home from hospital where myself and my family were discussing his imminent death. Within 4 days in the home, he was not only clean and well fed, he was talking and walking like his old self. It was amazing. This was all due to a caring and loving staff who give outstanding love to those in their care. I can't praise the staff enough.

My mother moved into The Haven around 18 months ago. I have always found the staff and management very helpful and friendly. Activities and entertainment are outstanding and there always seems to be something going on. The home also arranges trips out for residents when possible which is not something all homes do. Food is excellent and the catering staff always ensure my mother has a varied and enjoyable diet. I believe the help and understanding from all the staff and the warm friendly atmosphere has helped to slow down the progression of my mother's illness.

Mum seems to have settled in quite well now, and it is lovely to see so many photos of her on the website doing things she has not been able to for years! She enjoys the activities, and looks a lot better in herself; she certainly enjoys the food!

The review was carried out professionally. All aspects of care for the resident were explained in detail. Was asked if there were any concerns regarding the care given. There were none as the home/staff were courteous, looked after the resident exceptionally weel - covering all his needs.

Mum has been in The Haven for the last five years. She has received very good care during her stay here. When mum first arrived, although she had dementia, visually she appeared, because of her appearance, like a visitor. She would change her clothes up to five times a day and was supported by the staff in doing this.

She very much enjoyed the daily activities and participated at every opportunity. It is a very calm home with extremely friendly staff from the cleaners, kitchen staff, carers and management.
