Since my mother was admitted to Heron Court, I found she got the best of care, in nice surroundings. The staff were very efficient, and she was extremely happy until she passed away. The manager was really supportive.

I thank you all!

Mother came to Heron Court quite subdued and isolated, but since the staff have interacted with her, she has improved greatly getting up and joining in with activities and Church. She has been very comfortable.

I cannot praise the staff and the home greatly enough. I find the home superb.

My experience of Heron Court, I can only highly praise from the management to laundry lady (my husband's clothes are always fresh and clean) the meals look nice and appetising. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I'm treated as a friend by all the staff and management. In my husband's words, he is well spoilt and taken good care of.
I only ever see the staff being kind and caring to the residents, the home has a happy atmosphere, with everyone doing there best to keep it that way.

When people ask me about Heron Court, I'm only too happy to tell them how good the home is.

After two very bad experiences elsewhere when he went into respite care - thankfully we found Heron Court. They have worked hard and haven't given up! The only thing which really upsets me is that the only room available at the time is upstairs. He has Alzheimer's and can't access it by himself - so only really sleeps there.

My dad has not been lucky in previous homes. He has Alzheimer's, and this creates confusion and made him challenging. But the manager and her fantastic team took my dad under their wing, and he has improved since being there. As a family, we would love for him to be able to have a room on the ground floor so we can make it his home - as the room he has it upstairs and he can not access it.

My Dad has been a resident at Heron Court for the past month and we can't fault the level of care he is receiving. The staff are all amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble for them! They make my Dad feel so special. Heron Court is so cosy and welcoming that it really is like home from home.

Heron Court is a very comfortable home and the staff are always friendly. Mum receives good personal care, enjoys plenty of good food and is clearly happy and contented.
On my regular visits, I witness the staff working with the residents with genuine care and concern and great patience, which is often necessary.

All in all, I feel that Mum is safe, in good hands.

We are very happy with the care and support that our mother is receiving. She is happy there and settled, the staff are lovely and always have a word with her.

The only problem we have is the laundry which we have started doing ourselves. Her clothes were getting damaged (buttons torn off and cardigans, jumpers stretched beyond wear).

My husband was sent to Heron Court following a period in hospital as he was considered in need of care.
Previously, I cared for him at home with domiciliary care support. He has found it difficult to settle but the manager has been wonderful in helping him to settle along with all her caring staff.

Any problems we encountered have been promptly dealt with and the home offers a kind and friendly service.

The rooms at the home are poor and need maintaining - e.g. toilets with the lid not fitting, skirtings coming away from the wall. I have never seen nor viewed a poster for any forthcoming activities at the home.

My mother was at a different home within the same company, which was far superior, but circumstances dictated we had to move for ease of visiting.

After looking at several homes for Mum we were so relieved to have found this one.

Mum has complex needs and this home has suited them perfectly.

Heron Court has a real homely feel about it. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We're always made to feel welcome.

The care my mother gets at Heron Court from the staff is very good. The house and shower facilities badly need upgrading. Consideration this is the last home most of the residents are likely to have, I think it could be made quite a lot more comfortable.

The rooms are quite basic and sometimes need cleaning.
