My wife is extremely difficult to please and you and your brilliant staff have succeeded! She has repeatedly told me how you all have shown kindness and caring towards her. I very much appreciate how you're taking care of her, it's a comfort knowing she's in safe hands. Many thanks to you all.

After 2 other bad experiences in care home Loganberry was very good. Took time to explain medical needs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and always smelt nice. Plenty of drinks and snacks offered. Did not see any of the meals so cannot comment.

We sadly lost our mum this week and wanted to take a moment to thank the team at Loganberry Lodge care home. When things become very hard towards the end, the kindness, compassion and respect shown to mum and to our family means more than we can say. A very special and heartfelt to all the staff, your compassion, guidance and reassurance during such a difficult time meant more to us than words can express. The care and support you gave to mum and our whole family, especially in those final moments, will never be forgotten.

I stayed at Loganberry Lodge whilst my house which was flooded dried out and was repaired. I met with nothing but kindness and attention. I felt the staff were very, very patient with residents who needed help. The management were equally pleasant. I would certainly recommend it any time.

My sister and I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond making Christmas lunch on 20/12/25 special for residents and families. It was a lovely atmosphere with carol singing to a duet which we all joined in. Some staff have young children of their own by still gave time for us, It make us feel quite humble. We all sat at family tables with excellent food and drink which everyone enjoyed. From the moment we arrive in reception, corridors and dining room were all decorated beautifully 'even the eilings'. It made our Christmas special having time with our sister knowing we cannot manage to take her home.

After researching residential homes in and around Colchester, Loganberry Lodge, seemed the home that would fit all mums needs. She now has three proper meals a day (mum had previously lost three stone in weight). No longer has pressure sore due to sitting in wet pads at night as care staff attend to mums toileting needs 24hrs a day. Mum has always been a sociable person, but had lost all her friends. She now has the opportunity to make new friends. When I visit mum I can spend quality time with her instead of during housework etc, most importantly mum loves it there.

Mum was in Loganberry Lodge for ten months. During her time there she was very happy and enjoyed walking the corridors and interacting with staff and residents. She was well fed, well cared for and took part in many activities and trips. Some staff went above and beyond their roles and for this, the family is grateful.

Management are very approachable and deal with issues promptly and effectively.

Loganberry Lodge - what a wonderful place. My uncle lived here for five years. He was happy and so well cared for by wonderful, compassionate staff. They communicated well with us and my uncle's best interests were always their major consideration. This really was a home from home. My uncle thoroughly enjoyed activities organised by the coordinators. He adored his food. A really lovely environment.

Each day at Loganberry Lodge has brought its unique challenges, but through collaboration and continuous learning, we have always strived as a team to improve and ensure the well-being of our residents. Along this journey, there have been many moments of joy, laughter, and difficult times.

In July 2023, I stepped into the role of second deputy manager at Loganberry Lodge. This position has brought new responsibilities and challenges but also great achievements, all made possible by our staff's dedication and hard work.

I am incredibly proud of what Loganberry Lodge represents—a true family that includes our staff, residents, and their families. Together, we continue to create a caring and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
