My mother is safe, this is extremely important when your mother has no memory, hardly speaks and has limited mobility. The people who look after my mum need applauding as they do so much with kindness. Loganberry Lodge is friendly, welcoming, and clean and does not smell like care homes are painted as being like. They put my mum's needs high on the priority list. Thank you Loganberry Lodge for keeping my mum safe.

My mum had been a resident for the past six years. She had developed good relationships with the staff.
It was lovely to know that staff who knew her when she joined the home were there when she finally passed away. It seems rather unique to have this link over her time there.
They developed good relationships with the family and became rather like our extended family.
They understood my Mum's needs well and tried hard to meet them.

In the past six years, there have been some very difficult times but the staff have managed to care for her with compassion, kindness and dignity.

Really lovely care home, with really nice staff. Both my Nana and Grandad stay here on the dementia floor and are looked after very well, with a lovely spacious room and big windows so they are able to look out and get lots of sunlight. All the staff are really friendly and have a good connection with my grandparents which is nice to see. When the weather is nice they take them out to garden centres and other places which is really good for them. Would definitely recommend!

Overall, the care provided was of a high standard. The staff were attentive to the people in their care. The one big criticism is the standard of food provided, not only of the choice on the menu but also its presentation.

Reply from Ionut Dunea, Manager at Loganberry Lodge

Firstly, we would like to thank you for taking the time to complete this review. We always strive to provide the best care to all our residents. So it's always reassuring when it reflects in our feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were displeased with the standard of food provided by the home. All the staff had a caring attitude and, with possibly one exception, were prepared to do more than might be expected of them to help when necessary. The superiors (in dark red uniforms) knew their patients well and could answer queries about them. It was clear that they knew the patients personally and what treatment had been prescribed. One could sense the ambience, which was very good. Visitors were always welcome, even when arriving at mealtimes when they were asked not to.

From the moment you arrive at reception until you leave.
All staff are happy courteous and extremely helpful.
The place is kept extremely clean and staff are always available.
The food served to my father was always of good quality.

He considered his whole experience "like staying in a 5 star hotel".

If any issues did arise with his health I was assured that the home would contact me directly.

I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for somewhere safe secure for their loved one.

Our mum is on one of the units at Loganberry Lodge and has been there for two years. Within this time I must say we have always found the management and the staff kind, caring, understanding and always at hand. Management always goes above and beyond to support residents and their families, they have an open door and are always happy to help at any time. The Reception staff are always there to meet greet and guide you in the right direction. Unit staff are amazing, work hard, all have a wonderful smile and support our loved ones (we will always be thankful for this). The well-being team are an amazing team they keep our loved ones motivated creative and uplifted even the bed-bound residents are as important and included on a daily basis, they have kept us connected to our loved ones in the most difficult times via zoom, telephone, letter or pod visits. They have a wonderful hairdresser, laundry team do an amazing job. The chef is very accommodating and is always happy to fulfil residents' appetites. We will always be thankful.

My mother was at the care home for one day before the family felt they should take care of her. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who helped answer all our questions. We had a lovely tour by the deputy manager, the care staff were warm and welcoming and made Mum feel very welcome. They helped her settle in immediately. She had a very pleasant stay, though it was short.

Large complex with two main buildings - separate sections within each. General opinion - good. Some of the rooms are a little tired (decor). General cleanliness is good. Staff are good and seem to know what was expected of them in care of residents. There will always be a shortage of staff but they all seem to pull together well. For the relatively short stay mother had at Loganberry Lodge she was cared for well and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you.

Worries of mum needing a care home and choosing the right one, from visiting Loganberry Lodge, meeting management and the lovely staff, from the manager, all the way to maintenance and housekeeping, all those worries were allayed. Always a cheery greeting and a chat, mum has settled and is well cared for. Activities are there for all and mum has been out to lunch with staff and other residents, they helped us arrange for her to attend her granddaughter's wedding. A big thank you to all.

My mother moved into Loganberry Lodge Care Home earlier this year and from day one the staff have been absolutely great. They helped her settle in extremely well and have provided excellent care. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Having lived on her own for several years, it was always going to be difficult for her to adjust to moving into a care home. But the staff have been very patient, kind and considerate. The home is very clean, modern and welcoming when you arrive at the reception. The home offers a warm and friendly atmosphere to both residents and visitors. The management team offer full support and keep us up to speed with any relevant information regarding the home with meetings and events.

My mother was transferred at short notice from the hospital to Loganberry Lodge. We were so lucky. Loganberry is well run. All the staff are friendly, caring and diligent. The home is clean and well maintained. Food is freshly cooked like home-style food. Snacks and drinks are provided regularly. Loganberry strives to involve every resident so as not to feel alone. The staff are jolly and very caring. We were blessed when my mother was transferred to Loganberry. I wouldn't hesitate to it recommend it to anyone. Excellent!

Mum moved to Loganberry in October and had Alzheimer's. The staff and management were amazing with my mum and to us as a family. Always treat her with respect and great care. A true home from home. Sadly my mum was later diagnosed with cancer and all the staff were truly amazing in supporting mum with whatever she needed. They keep us informed of her progress at all times. They are all amazing at their jobs and a credit to your company. I can't thank them enough.
