Loganberry Lodge is a very welcoming place. The reception is very modern and clean. Management are always willing to talk to me and my other sister if we have any concerns about my sister. Rooms are always clean, and the bedroom is always clean and tidy. Care staff show also concerns for my sister's learning difficulties and try to do their utmost to help her every day. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. Overall 'excellent' nursing home and would highly recommend it to friends etc!

Mum has been at Loganberry Lodge for about 18 months. It's always a bit of a step into the unknown when you entrust those you love most to others. I count my mum and I lucky indeed to have found Loganberry Lodge. The manager and his team are running a bright, caring and comfortable home where the residents smile, the staff are friendly and there is a genuine feeling of happiness. The residents are treated with respect and dignity.
Relatives are kept informed of what's happening in the home via bi-monthly meetings. If we have any concerns, the staff are available and willing to chat freely. I am able to visit my mum easily and would recommend signing up for the essential carer scheme this home operates (many don't) which enables you to spend more time with your loved one.
Activities are organised for residents: my mum loves the Monday morning sing-song. All staff are excellent but I must take my hat off to the tireless wellbeing leader - whose enthusiasm for her role is boundless.

Thank you.

The last year has been a difficult time with Covid, but it has been made so much easier with the support from all the staff at the care home.
It is good to know that not only is mum in a safe environment, but there are lots of activities for her to get involved in.

Everyone we have had contact with have been polite, professional and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Lovely staff helpful and friendly. Frequent phone calls during the last two years of pandemic and my mother in law's last few days of life.
The home itself is bright and cheery and always clean with a homely atmosphere.

Loganberry Lodge looked after my father for just over a year. He was extremely happy here even though the pandemic made things very difficult regarding visits etc. I know that if I was unable to see him during lockdown he would be very well looked after. He formed good friendships with staff although his Parkinsons' made it very frustrating for him at times. Thank you.

My mother-in-law lived at Loganberry Lodge for nearly four years. She was welcomed there and treated very well by staff. Her medical needs were well taken care of. During lockdowns, staff encouraged continuing contact by a variety of means. Staff were good at assessing when medical treat meant was needed. During the last few days of her life, they communicated very well with us. After she died, they were very kind. We're grateful to them all.

Like most things, everything was not perfect. Some were very good some were not. Most of the care staff were very caring and did their best for my wife. It's a difficult job to be 100% all of the time. I feel happy for most of the care she got. Most of you should be proud.

My Nan became a resident of loganberry lodge when she became unsafe to be at home alone I can not thank the dedicated care staff for looking after her whilst still helping her to keep her independence and most importantly her dignity as well as keeping her spirits high especially during lockdown and covid. Staff always showed her respect and as a family kept us in the loop about nans needs or any changes all the way till her sudden passing in October 2021

Visiting my uncle the staff have been very polite and helpful. The entire area I go to is always clean and well decorated. His room is clean, bedclothes clean. He is clean and well dressed - the staff speak respectfully to him. He is happy with his food. My only wish is that he has access to a garden. He would love to sit out in a garden without waiting for staff to take him. He loves gardening and growing beans.

Please note I write on behalf of his three nieces and a friend visitor.

My father stayed at Loganberry Lodge for a week's respite care. From my initial inquiry, the staff were responsive and excellent at keeping me in the loop. My dad felt very well looked after by the staff who treated him with care and dignity. He enjoyed the show that took place on his birthday and interacting with the other residents. The communal lounge was very comfortable and home from home. He was able to leave his art materials on the table so he didn't have to pack them away each day which he really appreciated. He returned home relaxed and refreshed and looking forward to his next stay.

Longanberry Lodge Lexdon. Fantastic staff, lovely clean rooms, amazing food, and lots of activities for all residents. Our dad has been with Loganberry for over two years and he has been very happy and so have we and all of the family. He is now on end of life care and all the staff have been so nice to us all. During covid last year they kept in touch via zoom. Beautiful people. Thank you for all your do.

My husband was admitted as a resident in February 2019. Everyone here is lovely, so caring and he is well looked after.

On Thursday last they had called an ambulance to him, paramedics did tests, I was asked to come. A nurse came and did a few tests, offered him a few sips and said nil by mouth because he choked (I think he wasn't sat up enough). Everyone here was worried about that. If it hadn't been for Loganberry for calling for 2nd nurse 48 hours later, he'd be dead now. He had a drink, once he got offered, and had some food. Carers have to obey medically qualified, as I would, but even more so, they doubly worried about him. I saw how those close to him were affected as they arrived back on shift. All here need to have enough to live on, in my opinion, they get less per hour than I pay my gardener!

In July 2023, I stepped into the role of second deputy manager at Loganberry Lodge. This position has brought new responsibilities and challenges but also great achievements, all made possible by our staff's dedication and hard work.

I am incredibly proud of what Loganberry Lodge represents—a true family that includes our staff, residents, and their families. Together, we continue to create a caring and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
