The Home surrounds a beautiful courtyard and many rooms lead onto this. Inside it is beautifully furnished with comfortable lounges, quiet visiting areas and a delightful sensory/relaxation room. The Home has been purpose built and all rooms have an en-suite. Meals are freshly prepared by the catering team to ensure a nutritious and balanced diet, which does include tempting cakes.

My mother-in-law lived at Loganberry Lodge for nearly four years. She was welcomed there and treated very well by staff. Her medical needs were well taken care of. During lockdowns, staff encouraged continuing contact by a variety of means. Staff were good at assessing when medical treat meant was needed.
During the last few days of her life, they communicated very well with us. After she died, they were very kind. We're grateful to them all.

Like most things, everything was not perfect. Some were very good some were not. Most of the care staff were very caring and did their best for my wife. It's a difficult job to be 100% all of the time. I feel happy for most of the care she got. Most of you should be proud.

My Nan became a resident of loganberry lodge when she became unsafe to be at home alone I can not thank the dedicated care staff for looking after her whilst still helping her to keep her independence and most importantly her dignity as well as keeping her spirits high especially during lockdown and
covid. Staff always showed her respect and as a family kept us in the loop about nans needs or any changes all the way till her sudden passing in October 2021

Visiting my uncle the staff have been very polite and helpful. The entire area I go to is always clean and well decorated. His room is clean, bedclothes clean. He is clean and well dressed - the staff speak respectfully to him. He is happy with his food. My only wish is that he has access to a garden.
He would love to sit out in a garden without waiting for staff to take him. He loves gardening and growing beans.

My father stayed at Loganberry Lodge for a week's respite care. From my initial inquiry, the staff were responsive and excellent at keeping me in the loop. My dad felt very well looked after by the staff who treated him with care and dignity. He enjoyed the show that took place on his birthday and interacting
with the other residents. The communal lounge was very comfortable and home from home. He was able to leave his art materials on the table so he didn't have to pack them away each day which he really appreciated. He returned home relaxed and refreshed and looking forward to his next stay.

Father in law started here for end of life care until he passed away. He was treated with dignity and the staff were friendly and extremely sweet. Whilst he was there he was cared for very well. They always looked after visitors extremely well and gave us regular updates and allowed us to visit and
speak to him on the phone.

Longanberry Lodge Lexdon. Fantastic staff, lovely clean rooms, amazing food, and lots of activities for all residents. Our dad has been with Loganberry for over two years and he has been very happy and so have we and all of the family. He is now on end of life care and all the staff have been so nice
to us all. During covid last year they kept in touch via zoom. Beautiful people. Thank you for all your do.

My husband was admitted as a resident in February 2019. Everyone here is lovely, so caring and he is well looked after.
On Thursday last they had called an ambulance to him, paramedics did tests, I was asked to come. A nurse came and did a few tests, offered him a few sips and said nil by mouth because
he choked (I think he wasn't sat up enough). Everyone here was worried about that. If it hadn't been for Loganberry for calling for 2nd nurse 48 hours later, he'd be dead now. He had a drink, once he got offered, and had some food. Carers have to obey medically qualified, as I would, but even more so, they doubly worried about him. I saw how those close to him were affected as they arrived back on shift. All here need to have enough to live on, in my opinion, they get less per hour than I pay my gardener!

I must say my brother seems quite content here. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are all marvelous. Although, it would be nice to have a garden to walk in with my brother as he is still quite active and loves plants and trees.

My nan is a resident at Loganberry and has been since January of this year. It has been tough in terms of visiting due to covid, but the care home manger has been nothing short of accommodating wherever possible. Most notably, ensuring not just my nan's but all of the resident's safety is at the forefront
whilst also ensuring that the families of Loganberry residents always know what is going on within the home. Which arguably, as a family member is of the utmost importance. Now that we are allowed to visit again, it has been great to see for myself how well my nan has been looked after and how much progress she has made since becoming a resident at Loganberry Lodge with the fantastic personalised care from the carers on the unit she resides. The well-being team also provide entertainment and crafts for the residents and encourage participation from residents of all abilities. All in all, moving Nan to Loganberry Lodge was the best decision for our family and Nan in particular. 5*.

My nan is a resident at Loganberry Lodge. Picking a care home for our loved one was a massive decision. We wanted her well looked after, loved and cared for as well as we did it. I can honestly say choosing Loganberry Lodge was the best decision we made, the management team are outstanding always happy
to discuss any problems or concerns you may have and the door is always open to you when you need it. The well-being team always go above and beyond to communicate, support and entertain the residents at Loganberry Lodge, you always receive a warm welcome on entry, even from the handy man. Care staff are amazing they look after my nan as if she was there own and that to me and my family is massively important. As a family we couldn’t fault this care home and we will forever be grateful for the love, support and guidance they give my nan and also us as a family. I couldn’t recommend this care home enough. I would like to thank everyone who works here for making this care home a 5*.

Front of house amazing, friendly and very helpful.Management fantastic helpful very approachable. Our loved one's unit (rose) is, in my eyes, the best. Staff are great with our loved one and all residents. Everyone has made our loved one feel welcome and safe. Her room is always tidy and clean. The
lounge is always full of happiness and smiles for and from everyone. Well-being staff have helped us and our loved one so very much. I love to see our loved one so happy and to know she’s safe and cared for when we are not there. The menu is brilliant also. Thank you to every single person who works at Loganberry Lodge for all you do for our loved one and all the other residents. You are all amazing people and we will be forever grateful for all you do. I would just like to take a moment to say a big thank you, to all the staff for all that you do for my sister.
My sister has been in Loganberry for 5+ years now, and in all that time we have never had any doubt that the quality of care she receives has been nothing but superb.
We really do appreciate
the kindness and care the staff show her.
Owing to Alzheimer's, we know she has not always been the easiest of residents, but your patience and tireless effort has been second to none.
Everyone's so friendly and helpful and always keep us well informed.
During the pandemic when we were unable to visit, it was so reassuring to know she would be getting the best of care. We definitely made the right choice placing her in Loganberry Lodge.
We are extremely grateful for all they have done, and continue to do for my sister.

Staff seem really caring and friendly. Mum is always clean and comfortable and very happy with her care. Her bedroom is large and always clean and tidy as is the whole home. We are a large care home in Colchester with 141 bedrooms, nicely situated over several homely units. We have a café and lounges for residents to relax in with relatives and friends. We deliver quality care to older people, those who live with dementia, and those with more complex needs. Our dedicated carers have accumulated many years of experience, including myself; I have worked in Loganberry Lodge for twelve years, please feel free to visit at any time. My name is Ella Arhip, and I have over 14 years of dedicated service at Runwood Homes, including more than 12 years at Loganberry Lodge. I have built a career committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. I began my journey as a Care Assistant, progressed to Care Team Leader, and later embraced the challenge of becoming Deputy Manager at a sister home.
I returned to Loganberry Lodge to provide maternity cover for the Administrator role, after which I was delighted to accept the position of Deputy Manager. My name is Oana Dunea, and I am the Deputy Manager at Loganberry Lodge.


I have proudly been part of the Loganberry team for over 13 years, during which I’ve experienced a truly rewarding journey. I initially started as a care assistant, working both day and night shifts, before progressing to the role of care team leader. This allowed me to further develop my skills in both care and leadership.


Each day at Loganberry Lodge has brought its unique challenges, but through collaboration and continuous learning, we have always strived as a team to improve and ensure the well-being of our residents. Along this journey, there have been many moments of joy, laughter, and difficult times.


Over the years, I’ve worked with various home and deputy managers, each of whom has provided support and valuable insights. I have also completed numerous specialised training courses, including an NVQ Level 3, which has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.


In July 2023, I stepped into the role of second deputy manager at Loganberry Lodge. This position has brought new responsibilities and challenges but also great achievements, all made possible by our staff's dedication and hard work.

My name is Ann White, and I am proud to have been part of the Loganberry Lodge team for over 15 years. I began my journey as an Activity Coordinator, building meaningful connections with residents through engaging programs and activities. I later transitioned to the role of Receptionist, where I managed calls, welcomed visitors, and supported the smooth operation of the front desk.
My heart has always been with the residents, and I am delighted to now be serving once again as Lifestyle Coordinator. I truly enjoy my daily interactions with residents and their families, and I am committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment while providing enriching experiences that enhance life at Loganberry Lodge.

Job Title: Home Admisnistrator Joined: 2017

I've worked as an administrator for 8 years at Loganberry Lodge.
No day is the same at Loganberry Lodge. Every day is different. Since I manage some of the residents' finances, I get to meet most of their relatives and friends.


I ensure that all administrative duties associated with the care home are performed effectively and in a timely manner. I provide any clerical support to the management team when they request or require it.

Hello,
My name is Ana, and I have worked for Loganberry Lodge since 2014. During this time, I have held various job positions in the company. I am happy to work and support our staff, residents, and families.
In July, I took the receptionist job. As a receptionist, I assist with enquiries and answer the telephone.
I also ensure that attendance at both mandatory and required training courses is met so that skills, Knowledge, and competency levels are maintained to carry out the role efficiently and effectively.
