Loganberry Lodge

My mother was transferred at short notice from the hospital to Loganberry Lodge. We were so lucky. Loganberry is well run. All the staff are friendly, caring and diligent. The home is clean and well maintained. Food is freshly cooked like home-style food. Snacks and drinks are provided regularly. Loganberry strives to involve every resident so as not to feel alone. The staff are jolly and very caring. We were blessed when my mother was transferred to Loganberry. I wouldn't hesitate to it recommend it to anyone. Excellent!

Mum moved to Loganberry in October and had Alzheimer's. The staff and management were amazing with my mum and to us as a family. Always treat her with respect and great care. A true home from home. Sadly my mum was later diagnosed with cancer and all the staff were truly amazing in supporting mum with whatever she needed. They keep us informed of her progress at all times. They are all amazing at their jobs and a credit to your company. I can't thank them enough.

Not very happy with some of the care provided by Loganberry Lodge.

Loganberry Lodge is a very welcoming place. The reception is very modern and clean. Management are always willing to talk to me and my other sister if we have any concerns about my sister. Rooms are always clean, and the bedroom is always clean and tidy. Care staff show also concerns for my sister's learning difficulties and try to do their utmost to help her every day. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. Overall 'excellent' nursing home and would highly recommend it to friends etc!

Positive all-round, nothing but praise for the professionalism, kindness and caring attitude shown by all staff.

Loganberry Lodge looked after my father for just over a year. He was extremely happy here even though the pandemic made things very difficult regarding visits etc. I know that if I was unable to see him during lockdown he would be very well looked after. He formed good friendships with staff although his Parkinsons' made it very frustrating for him at times. Thank you.

My mother-in-law lived at Loganberry Lodge for nearly four years. She was welcomed there and treated very well by staff. Her medical needs were well taken care of. During lockdowns, staff encouraged continuing contact by a variety of means. Staff were good at assessing when medical treat meant was needed. During the last few days of her life, they communicated very well with us. After she died, they were very kind. We're grateful to them all.

Like most things, everything was not perfect. Some were very good some were not. Most of the care staff were very caring and did their best for my wife. It's a difficult job to be 100% all of the time. I feel happy for most of the care she got. Most of you should be proud.

My Nan became a resident of loganberry lodge when she became unsafe to be at home alone I can not thank the dedicated care staff for looking after her whilst still helping her to keep her independence and most importantly her dignity as well as keeping her spirits high especially during lockdown and covid. Staff always showed her respect and as a family kept us in the loop about nans needs or any changes all the way till her sudden passing in October 2021

My father stayed at Loganberry Lodge for a week's respite care. From my initial inquiry, the staff were responsive and excellent at keeping me in the loop. My dad felt very well looked after by the staff who treated him with care and dignity. He enjoyed the show that took place on his birthday and interacting with the other residents. The communal lounge was very comfortable and home from home. He was able to leave his art materials on the table so he didn't have to pack them away each day which he really appreciated. He returned home relaxed and refreshed and looking forward to his next stay.

We were happy with the care my wife and mother were getting at the home.

Father in law started here for end of life care until he passed away. He was treated with dignity and the staff were friendly and extremely sweet. Whilst he was there he was cared for very well. They always looked after visitors extremely well and gave us regular updates and allowed us to visit and speak to him on the phone.

Longanberry Lodge Lexdon. Fantastic staff, lovely clean rooms, amazing food, and lots of activities for all residents. Our dad has been with Loganberry for over two years and he has been very happy and so have we and all of the family. He is now on end of life care and all the staff have been so nice to us all. During covid last year they kept in touch via zoom. Beautiful people. Thank you for all your do.

On Thursday last they had called an ambulance to him, paramedics did tests, I was asked to come. A nurse came and did a few tests, offered him a few sips and said nil by mouth because he choked (I think he wasn't sat up enough). Everyone here was worried about that. If it hadn't been for Loganberry for calling for 2nd nurse 48 hours later, he'd be dead now. He had a drink, once he got offered, and had some food. Carers have to obey medically qualified, as I would, but even more so, they doubly worried about him. I saw how those close to him were affected as they arrived back on shift. All here need to have enough to live on, in my opinion, they get less per hour than I pay my gardener!

I must say my brother seems quite content here. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are all marvelous. Although, it would be nice to have a garden to walk in with my brother as he is still quite active and loves plants and trees.
