Me and my sister would like to say a big 'Thank You' to the staff and carers at Loganberry Lodge for the ongoing care they are giving to our mother in Snowdrop.
She suffers with dementia and is not the easiest of people but the staff have been very good and we have been able to talk with mum over the phone and even when it was not convenient for one reason or another the staff called back to connect with mum.
We would highly recommend Loganberry Lodge as it's a clean, tidy and bright home and the staff are lovely.

The home seems to have acted quickly in shutting it down early to keep everyone safe from Covid-19 so 'Well Done' to the staff.

To all the staff at Loganberry Lodge,
Hopefully, you will already know, just how much you are held in high esteem by families and residents alike. Keeping the COVID19 virus out must be a huge
challenge, but with the care and professionalism shown by all you have.

My dad has been the resident in Snowdrops for the past 4 years until his death on the 8th May. He received the best care that can offered during his time there. He was well looked after in all his needs even when he was at his most difficult behaviour the carers persevered and he learned to trust them eventually. During his last few days at the home the carers were marvellous, they set up video calls with the family so we could say our virtual goodbye. It was heart breaking but we had the comfort he was not in pain and the carers kept the family informed every inch of the way. The family can’t thank the home enough for their dedication and hard work. God bless.

My Mother has been a resident at Loganberry Lodge for nearly 5 years. It was a big move for her after losing her husband of 65 years married. Mum began to be unsafe on her own mobility wise. The standard of care is superb as is the modern building and her room. They pay special attention to detail. She is happy and safe and that is great for the family.

Deciding to put Mum into a home was a very stressful time, but my stresses were soon put at ease as we were made very welcome from the second that we walked into Loganbury Lodge. Mum settled in very quickly helped by the staff; they all got to know her name and her likes and dislikes to help her to settle in. During the outbreak of Covid-19, they closed the home very quickly helping Mum and other's to stay safe. I can contact her via telephone and video calls, and she can contact me if she wants too; thank you.

Mum has been living at Loganberry Lodge for several years and has been happy and very well looked after during this time. Now on “end of life” care and in lockdown, I am very happy with the care she is being given. The staff have been wonderful showing her videos and messages from all of us, chatting with her and keeping her comfortable in our absence. As sad as it is not being able to visit her, I know that all the staff are doing their very best for her and all the other residents. They are also keeping us informed of her condition which is very comforting for us. They’re a brilliant bunch and I’m very grateful to them for all they are doing during these very unusual and worrying times.

My father has moved into the home in the last 4-weeks. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and they have helped my father settle in very quickly.

He has been unwell whilst in there due to an ongoing condition that he has, and they have looked after him really well and given me daily updates on his condition.

We looked at several care homes before dad moved into Loganberry Lodge. Straight away Loganberry 'felt right'. Staff stayed in touch during the transition from hospital to the home and were so helpful, it really made a difficult time a little easier. It's been incredibly hard with Covid 19 but I know dad is being cared for - we can call him and he has called us. We are able to drop things (goodies) off for dad and we know he receives them. Dad has dementia but he is always happy when we talk to him. I can't wait until we are able to visit again, but it is reassuring to know that he is safe and happy while this awful virus is around. I can't thank Loganberry Lodge enough for looking after him.

I have been to see my friend twice since she has been in Loganberry Lodge. I must say both times that I have seen her she has been calm and she seems very happy. The staff take time to talk to her which they never did where she was before. So thank you all for looking after her.

Mum was only at Loganberry for approximately one month before she passed away but during that time mum was treated with dignity and genuine care for her well being. Nothing was too much trouble and you could see that staff genuinely cared for all the residents even those that could be difficult due to their illness.
During that short period of time, I found the staff I interacted, which includes the home manager, to be very approachable and sympathetic both towards the resident and family needs. They went out of their way to ensure that mum received the right care and was placed in the appropriate area within the home that would best suit her. What more can you ask?
I cannot fault the care my mum received at Loganberry and I would recommend this home to anyone needing to place a loved one.

It's a lovely home, not only where bedrooms and common rooms were nicely decorated and very clean and the care provided is excellent.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my aunt receives - without exception every member of staff I have encountered has been polite, kind and caring. Everyone stops to speak and makes one feel very welcomed at the home. My aunt is always clean, tidy and cared for and, above all, safe. The only criticism I have is that there is often a 'wee' smell outside her room in the corridor.
