All the staff were kind and helpful to the entire family, not only my mum. They helped with her convalescence and seemed to enjoy her progress.
Always light and bright with plenty to see. Meals were tasty, appetising and appropriate.

Thank you all very much.

Since being at Loganberry, my mother has been a lot healthier as she now gets her meds regularly as assisted. Staff check she puts clean clothes on and her vascular dementia has got worse now so her legs are unsteady, staff remind her to use a frame as she forgets. The staff all go the extra mile to ensure the residents are happy. Top staff and management team. My mum is in the best place for her needs now she is deteriorating. I am very happy with the service.

Manager and staff are very personable and professional and keep me informed which is very important when you are unable to visit every day. Lovely and clean and mum has never eaten so much.
Of course, you want your loved ones to have as normal life as possible so activities are critical and they do this well.
Mum seems happy and that's all you can hope for.

Thank you.

For such a large establishment, the overall cleanliness and appearance of the whole building are very impressive. I do feel, however, that more could be done as far as stimulating activities.

Loganberry Lodge has been my mum’s home since Dec ‘17. I’m so glad we picked this care home ...we know that she is safe, happy and well looked after by the amazing staff, not only in Lavender suite (although the manager and his staff deserve an extra mention...doing a brilliant job with patience, care and understanding !) but throughout the home. I am always kept up to date with all aspects of mum’s life and any small issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. It is reassuring to know that, when we are not there , mum is surrounded by a second ‘caring’ family . Thank you Loganberry Lodge you have created a friendly ,welcoming environment for your residents and their families/visitors....keep up the good work !

I would recommend without hesitation.

This care home is very friendly, warm and always has a pleasant open atmosphere. If I request something to be done, some member of staff will take up the problem and usually solve it. Patience is always in evidence when handling my husband. I feel he is looked after well. I believe he does have a one to one on the times I am absent.

My uncle was cared for several times for respite care. Then when he became really poorly, he was in Loganberry Lodge until he passed away. I was more than happy with the care given and especially the attention to detail which was exceptional. He was happy and settled during his last times. The staff were pleasant, caring and kept me updated.

Both my mum and dad were in the care home and loved it. Staff cannot do enough for you and are very helpful and friendly, it did not feel like a care home. Each and every one of the staff loved my mum and dad to bits and even treated me like family. I would 100% recommend the care home to anybody.

Overall Experience
My mother lived at Loganberry Lodge for 2 years until February 2018.
Mum was well looked after supported by caring and person-centred staff. We as a family developed excellent relationships with the management and staff.
I personally feedback my opinions and ideas as I was a registered nurse for 40 years.
It is a difficult and challenging environment to work in a therapeutic manner being presented with a multitude of challenging behaviours.
The staff worked tirelessly to provide a safe and caring home.
The manager's door was always open for anyone to raise issues and feedback constructively.
Mum was well looked after, everyone did their best, you cannot expect more than that.

Well done Loganberry and thank you

My sister in law was in Huckleberry for five years and two months during which time I found the care and standard of cleanliness excellent.
She could be very awkward at times but the staff knew just how to cope with her. She wouldn't mix and had to have her meals in her room.
Her end of life care was very good and she was treated with dignity throughout her stay.

Thank you.

My mum first went to Loganberry Lodge on 23rd March as a temporary resident. The was made permanent when it was realised she couldn't cope at home.
At first, she joined in with the activities but started to become weaker. For the last three weeks, she was on bedrest.
Ahe passed away on Thursday 15th June. I was so pleased with all the care and attention were given to her during her stay.

A huge thank you to all involved in the Lavender Suite.

I cannot fault the excellent staff here they work very hard and always pleasant even though sometimes under pressure when understaffed, however, I did expect something from management expressing their sympathy on my mum's passing. A card or floral tribute would have been appreciated.

My name is Oana Dunea, and I am the Deputy Manager at Loganberry Lodge.

I have proudly been part of the Loganberry team for over 13 years, during which I’ve experienced a truly rewarding journey. I initially started as a care assistant, working both day and night shifts, before progressing to the role of care team leader. This allowed me to further develop my skills in both care and leadership.

Each day at Loganberry Lodge has brought its unique challenges, but through collaboration and continuous learning, we have always strived as a team to improve and ensure the well-being of our residents. Along this journey, there have been many moments of joy, laughter, and difficult times.

Over the years, I’ve worked with various home and deputy managers, each of whom has provided support and valuable insights. I have also completed numerous specialised training courses, including an NVQ Level 3, which has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.

In July 2023, I stepped into the role of second deputy manager at Loganberry Lodge. This position has brought new responsibilities and challenges but also great achievements, all made possible by our staff's dedication and hard work.

I am incredibly proud of what Loganberry Lodge represents—a true family that includes our staff, residents, and their families. Together, we continue to create a caring and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
