Mundy House Care Home

My mother has been at Mundy House for two and a half years. She took some time to settle, but with the help of the staff and management, she settled well. She is well cared for and seems happy and content. Thank you Mundy House.

My brother seems as happy in the home as you can be. He is always looked after very well.

My 88 year old aunt stayed here for two months after a hip operation. The staff were great and helped her with rest and exercise. The chef was also very helpful with Aunt's diet, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Munday House.

My aunt stayed in Mundy House for two weeks of respite care. She received excellent care for the time she was there. The staff were very kind and caring to her and she was very happy there. I would not hesitate to choose this home for her if she decided she needs full-time care.

Our Mum has been in Mundy House's care for two and a half years and we have only praise for the care she has received and is receiving. The staff are wonderful and no matter what time of day they always take time to talk to us and keep us updated on mum's health and general situation. Mum has recently returned to Mundy House after a short spell in hospital and despite all our worst fears, we are amazed at her “recovery” as she continues to thrive under their care. The reassurance and confidence they have provided us with over the past couple of years has been priceless and we know Mum is happy and comfortable in Mundy House. Thank you to all of you-you deserve 10/10.

No words can express our thanks to the management and staff at Mundy House. Not only do they look after the residents with such care, but they also take the families under their wings too. Mum's stay at Mundy House started in November 2016. She suffers from Vascular Dementia and wasn't safe in her own home. A couple of weeks ago, mum was rushed to hospital after the staff found her one morning very unresponsive. When the doctors discharged her, we were worried that she would need a nursing home for palliative care.

My uncle has been very happy at Mundy House. He has always been treated with dignity and respect. The staff are all very friendly and caring. If ever there has been a problem it has been dealt with promptly and efficiently. I am always kept informed of any health problems or other issues. I am confident that he is being well cared for.

Always welcoming, very attentive staff, always put the resident's needs first. Cosy atmosphere, overall very impressed with staff and management.

All the staff have been extremely helpful. They have always ensured the needs of my Nan. They helped her to overcome her initial reluctance and settle in and join in to become a welcomed member of the Mundy House community. I can't speak highly enough of the care given to my Nan.

I am very happy with the care Mum receives at Mundy House and look forward to working closely with staff to ensure this continues.

This is a home where the team really care and go out their way for the residents, they are full of heart and nothing was too much trouble for them always putting the needs of the residents first. We really appreciate the respect and care they gave our nan and will be eternally grateful for the level of care, understanding, respect and support they gave my nan and the family.

The staff welcome everyone who visits with a smile and there is a lovely ambience throughout. We have observed the care given to residents and always given with kindness and love. There is a natural buz and both residents and visitors are included in their activities if they wish. The kitchen staff go out of their way to welcome everyone at any time of day.

I am very happy with the care my mother is getting. She is getting very anxious but they are doing all they can to help with the situation. There is always someone to talk to if we need it.
