It was very lovely and good, very clean and well.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The building and surrounding grounds are well maintained, my friend who lives in talks about the good food and entertainment.

I was invited to a friends 100th birthday. Fantastic party, entertainment and food. Staff patient and attentive. Many thanks to Okeley Care Home.

I couldn't fault anything about this amazing care home and the staff that run it. Friendly and very helpful. My mum is in safe hands.

More than happy with the care my mum receives here she is treated with dignity and seems very happy in her own little world. Staff constantly keep me informed of everything which I really appreciate as I can't always get to come in because of work shifts.

Went above and beyond for my great aunts 100th birthday, everyone is so lovely. The home is always clean and inviting my aunt is well looked after. The food is lovely, lots for residents to do, which made the transition very comfortable. Feel so much happier and safe that my aunt is well looked after and happy and safe, all her needs are met.

My mum (with dementia) has been at Okeley Care Home for over 2 years. She says that she can’t imagine there is anywhere better to be. She says there are lots of people to chat to and they always have a laugh! I’m delighted with how they care for mum - and have done brilliantly during Covid. They genuinely care.

When entering the home it was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. My friend was nervous but the staff made her feel very welcome. Will happily go and visit again when the weather is good and sit in their beautiful garden.

Massive thank you to all staff for working through such an unprecedented time caring for the ones we love and putting them first. Staff are always welcoming and happy to see you, my friend is always turned out just the way he would want. Smart clothes, clean-shaven we even get to have a shandy together which the staff organise. Thank you all for being truly amazing.

My mother moved into her new home at Okeley in October 2017 and peacefully passed away there in March of this year. During her time there she was looked after with the greatest of care by the dedicated, professional, caring and loving staff. Not only did they look after her but they always made the whole family feel very welcome when we visited. There was always a coffee and a chat and they were always there to offer advice or words of encouragement if we were at all worried about mum's health. Mum called the staff, 'the children' and really believed she was with her family. Covid was a trial but every possible action was put into place to keep everyone safe. I will always be so very thankful to everyone for mum's happy years at Okeley.

A lovely care home, a real improvement in the last 6 months. Activities have really improved our families get to experience so many different activities. The home manager and deputy manager are always available for any support or advice needed. Such a lovely welcoming home. Home-cooked meals and cakes. Would definitely recommend Okeley for anyone looking for a care home.

My mum has been a resident for over two years. I cannot fault Okeley Care Home, the staff work so hard and are a huge support for residents and their families. The past year, the staff have gone above and beyond keeping residents safe the best they could. It's been great to see the Facebook page and all the pictures of residents enjoying all the groups.

My Dad was a resident at Okeley Care Home for the final two and a half years of his life. He had Lewy Body dementia and changed significantly over that time. He always received the best care and the staff were fantastic at supporting him and our family and responding to changes in his condition in a prompt manner. I have great memories of walking with him in the gardens, enjoying a coffee in reception and attending musical activities. He was always treated with dignity and respect. My Dad stayed at the care home for end of life care and passed away peacefully in the familiar and comfortable surroundings. We are hugely grateful for the care he received in his final years.

The staff at Okeley are caring and work hard; they are very aware of residents’ anxieties, so if they notice anything that is making my Mum upset they will know how to sort it out. They are proactive and friendly and whilst I haven’t been able to visit during the past year in the way I could before the lockdown it’s been of great comfort to know how much the staff provide the affection and attention Mum requires.

I have found the care to be of an exceptional standard. The way my family member has been cared for is incredible. All the staff have been fantastic during trying times and I found the transition from one manager to another did not impact on my relative's needs or care. This was a concern we had due to not being able to enter during the Covid pandemic, however, with many phone calls, video calls and updates care and the transition has been well handled and seamless. Cannot recommend highly enough and thank all the staff for the time and effort they have put in over the past year.

I would just like say that in these difficult times with Covid-19. It has been really hard not to be able to see my Nan. But what the care home has been doing has really been great. I have been having regular FaceTime calls with my Nan and this makes me so happy and just lifts my day in these difficult times, just by seeing her and be able to talk and catch up with her. I think this is great and she gets to tell all about what they have been doing in the care home. I also follow the care home on Facebook and love seeing the pictures of all and the different activities they do on a day to day basis. I would highly recommend this care home, my Nan is so happy there and this is great to see. I would like to thank all the staff and management team, for doing a great job caring for my Nan and I can’t wait to visit her, but I know she is in safe hands. Thanks again, you are angels in my eyes.
