Park View has a wonderful friendly atmosphere, and paved courtyards allow the space for outdoor activities as well and all these activities are designed to stimulate, amuse and entertain all of those cared for.
The Home is spacious with beautiful lounges, dining areas and a conservatory, again another peaceful area for either gentle activities or to sit and read or complete a crossword.

I have been treated so kindly since coming to Park View. Being diabetic, there have been a few problems trying to sort a diet which suits me but every care is taken to assist with this. There is truthfully not one member of staff who has ever upset me in any way. It helps when everyone is so friendly and helpful. If I could not spend Xmas with family, I'm sure here would be fine.

I’m Alex, the Home Manager here at Parkview. I’ve been a part of the Runwood Homes family for over five years, starting my journey as a carer and then care team leader in one of our homes, then progressing to Deputy Manager at another, and now proudly stepping into the role of Home Manager at Parkview since June 2024.
My experience across multiple homes and roles has given me a broad and in-depth perspective on quality care and the importance of a compassionate, individualised approach. I am dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment where each resident feels valued and supported. Working closely with our talented team, I strive to ensure that every resident enjoys the highest possible quality of life here at Parkview.
With a hands-on, person-centred approach, I aim to foster a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home not only for our residents but also for their families, friends, and the wider community. Building strong relationships and upholding exceptional care standards is my top priority, and I’m committed to making a positive difference every day.

I’ve been proudly serving as the Chef at Parkview since March 2020, bringing my passion for nutritious, delicious meals to our residents every day. With years of culinary experience and a dedication to creating varied and balanced menus, I strive to make every meal an enjoyable and nourishing experience.
I take pride in getting to know each resident’s personal tastes and dietary needs, ensuring every dish reflects their preferences and nutritional requirements. From comforting classics to seasonal specialities, I aim to bring joy to mealtimes while contributing to our residents' health and well-being. For me, cooking is more than a job—it's an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents, and I feel honoured to play such a role in their daily lives here at Parkview.

Hello, my name is Diane, and I am the Lifestyle Coordinator here at Park View Care Home.
I have had the pleasure of working at Park View for 18 years, and during that time, I’ve built such strong, meaningful relationships with both our residents and their families. My role is all about making sure that every day is enjoyable, engaging, and tailored to each individual.
I organise and lead a wide range of activities within the home, from group sessions like games, music, and arts and crafts, to more personal one-to-one time for residents who prefer a quieter approach. I always take the time to get to know each resident—their interests, hobbies, and life stories—so that I can create activities that are truly meaningful to them.
For me, it’s not just about keeping people busy; it’s about helping residents feel happy, valued, and connected. Whether that’s through laughter, reminiscing, or trying something new, I aim to create a warm and positive environment where everyone feels included.
I’m very proud to be part of the Park View family and to play a role in making each day special for our residents.
