The last 3 years of my mums life were very challenging for her. Coping with parkinsons, dementia and for the last year, bed/chair bound was a difficult time. However the staff at Silverpoint showed great care and compassion, something that I will be eternally grateful for.
Thank you for your review of our home and the care for your Mum. We appreciate you taking time to leave your feedback which we use to improve and develop our service. Your Mum will forever be fondly remembered and it was an honour to care for her and to meet all of your lovely family.
From day one a very good experience- from all staff to facilities/location/parking. Very helpful in all aspects of care checking in/out is good and monitored. Other residents are friendly.
The management and staff so very kind, nothing was too much trouble, Pat was given every opportunity to join in social activities if she wanted to. We would certainly ask for respite again here if required in the future, as we know Pat would be in safe hands.
Thank you for your review Sandra, we loved having Pat stay with us and would be delighted to have her stay again in the future
The facilities are modern and the food was good. The carers were friendly and they are there for the family as well as the residents. My Nan was treated with dignity and they encourage independence where possible which I think is really important X .
Thank you for your lovely review, I truly appreciate you taking time to do this for us. Families of people in our care are very important to us and I am glad you felt supported by the team. Dignity and kindness cannot be taught and so we are very lucky to have a care team that naturally way in a...
Thank you for looking after our aunt "Peggy". There were one of two occasions where her dignity was overlooked ie on the commode and door left open. Cleanliness good overall but let down on odd occasion. We appreciate staff were stretched at these times. The main feeling we had was the wonderful care and compassion shown to not only to her but us also by everyone at Silverpoint Court.
We are sorry for your loss and really appreciate you taking the time to provide us with this feedback. I am sorry that there were occasions where dignity was not provided and on occasions you feel cleanliness was a concern, we will discuss this with the team in order to improve and ensure these...
Mum is very happy in the home. She enjoys the food which is freshly prepared, if there is nothing on the menu that she likes, its no problem for them to find something she will like and eat. Would not hesitate on recommending this care home.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are so pleased that Mum is happy and that we are accommodating her needs, wishes and preferences.
Thank you to everyone who looked after my husband. I was very happy for him to stay at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Centre. When we walked in, we were made very welcome. All the staff were happy to see us. His room was lovely, with the view, and comfortable. The food was excellent. He felt at home and was happy to be left there for a week. The manager was very supportive of both of us. We would come to Silverpoint again - excellent.
Thank you for this lovely review. It is great to hear that your husband had a good week with us and that you were both made to feel welcome. It was a pleasure to care for your husband, and I will pass on your comments to the team. We look forward to welcoming you again!
Mum's been in your care for 6 months now and as a family, we were very much supported with moving in and the changes that were happening with Mum. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the garden, with a very comfortable position changing bed and TV. The staff have been fabulous with Mum, so patient and caring. They have even managed to get Mum in the shower, where we have failed in the past! Lovely food and plenty of it. Thank you, I know Mum is in good hands.
So pleased to hear you are happy with your mum's care. The team take lots of time to make sure the admission process is as easy as possible, we know this can be such an anxious time for everyone. I will share your feedback with the team, especially our new Chef who really does produce the best...
My father went to Silverpoint in March 2022 after losing his wife. His dementia meant he was confused for a long time but settled well into routine. The staff have always created him with dignity and kindness. There is a homely feel where all staff are involved with the resident's care. Sadly due to location and work commitments, we have had to move him closer to where we live. He was happy at Silverpoint and well looked after during his time there.
Thank you for this review, we really appreciate the time taken to reflect on the care and support in our home. It has been a pleasure to look after your father and we hope he is settled in well at his new home. We wish him all the best and will share your review with our team. Many thanks!
My Dad is a resident of Silverpoint and the team looks after him, special mention to one who always goes above and beyond when he is in need of medical attention. The support team are always polite and friendly and have a great relationship with my Dad. They make him feel safe.
Thank you for your review, we really appreciate the time taken to provide feedback to us. It is really important that people feel safe in our care and it sounds like your Dad has built some great relationships in his care journey. Feedback is shared with the team at Silverpoint and I know recognition like this is always appreciated!
I cannot recommend Silverpoint Court enough, from the management to the chef to carers and care helpers, all are very happy and pleasant and understanding of people's needs. The food is excellent with many choices. The whole care home is spotlessly clean and well-kept. Everyone is very accommodating and pleasant.
Thank you so much for this very positive review. We are so pleased that you are happy with the home and the team who care for your relative. The team at Silverpoint Court take the time to really know and understand the residents and their care needs and it is good to know that this has been noted...
Our auntie has been treated with dignity since she has been here. During her stay the staff have managed to clear a leg ulcer that she previously had for over six years. She has also been encouraged to do tasks like personal hygiene and dressing herself. The activities that are organised are very thoughtful and help and encourage the residents. I am full of admiration for the staff that are marvellous.
I would like to take this time to thank you so very much for this positive and heart warming review. The team spend a lot of time finding out what our residents like to do and trying to devise a range of activities that will appeal to everybody and they will be thrilled that you hold their efforts...
Went to visit Silverpoint, was very pleased with initial visit, the staff are very good with my mum, the food is very good, definitely would not go hungry. The daily activities are excellent e.g. decorating walking frames, making cakes, keep fit, singing and dancing. I am very pleased with my mum's care, couldn't ask for any better.
Thank you so much for giving this lovely review for the home and team. We are so pleased that your experience of having your dear mum stay with us has been so positive. The team work extremely hard to provide a welcoming and engaging environment for both our residents and visitors and I know they...
My Father is on his third week in Silverpoint, he has been treated very well and nothing is too much trouble. We are really pleased to have found him such a lovely home.
Thank you so much for this positive review. I am so pleased to hear that your dear father has received the care and treatment you (and we) expect. I know the team at the home takes great pride in ensuring residents are welcomed to the home and in the care that they give, and that they will be happy...
For someone who was very sociable before entering the care home, the variety of activities and the fact that there is something every day is perfect for my mum.
Residents and relatives are encouraged to provide feedback at the relative meetings, including suggesting menu items for lunches and dinners.
The environment is lovely, the food is lovely, and the staff are lovely. There is nothing better than hearing your relative say, "I like it here".
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a positive review for the home and the team. It is fantastic to hear how the environment and activities at our home are helping to keep your dear Mum entertained and content. The team at the home go to great lengths to promote a homely atmosphere...
Her mood is lovely; I go in to see her, to chat and have a laugh (not cry, that was both of us). She goes to the day room to join in, and the staff are really good with her. I am so pleased we moved; I can stop worrying!
Thank you very much for your lovely and kind words and for writing a very positive review of the home and the staff. Your mum has settled very well, and I am very pleased that both of you are happy with her stay here in Silverpoint Court. I will pass this information on to our team, who deserved this compliment that you have given. Kind regards.
This last month has been very difficult due to the deteriorating health of my mum. The staff of Silverpoint Court have been their usual cheerful selves and very supportive. They have looked after us as is their norm, and it is a privilege to have such caring staff in the home. I have no hesitation to recommend them and this facility to anyone in need of excellent 24-hour care.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to write this very positive review for us, especially at this sad time. Your mum was a much-loved lady, and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to care for her over the time she has spent at Silverpoint Court. I am so pleased to hear how the team...
We have always been delighted with the love and care with which Mum has been treated in her time at Silverpoint. Sadly Mum passed away recently, and we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff for all the attention and sympathetic way that Mum and the family were treated in her final days. A huge thank you to everyone at Silverpoint for all that they have done.
Thank you so much for writing this lovely review at this very sad time. Your dear Mum was a lovely lady who was much loved by the team at the home, and all miss her very much and were very sad when she passed away. We are so pleased to hear that you felt treated well toward the end of her life....
Wow, what can I say about this care home! My mother-in-law loved it. The carers and staff were really happy to look after my mum-in-law right up to when she went down due to bad health, especially when sadly she passed aways, and she was right to the end treated with dignity.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to write this lovely review. I was lucky enough to meet your dear mother-in-law, and she was a lovely lady who was much loved by our team at the home. She is dearly missed. We are so pleased to hear your experience of placing and leaving mum-in-law in our...
Excellent care and attention to all my needs. Lovely and clean. Meals are excellent; if not to my liking, then I can have something different. Nothing is too much for the members of staff; they are friendly and caring.
We were so pleased to receive these positive comments from you in relation to the care you are receiving and the environment. It has always been important to keep the environment clean and prevent the spread of infection, but even more so in these days of Covid-19, and it is good to know the team's...
