My mother was moved from hospital after breaking her hip to Silvanna Court. I'm glad the manager who went to see her in hospital said they would take her in. This care home is beautiful, clean & tidy. The staff are very friendly & work hard to make sure resident's are well looked after. My mother seems very happy where she is & hopefully will be comfortable & content to stay.
Thank you also for all the support you showed to her daughter (my niece)Trudi and the support you gave her.
Many thanks to you all for your dedicated work.
Valerie, Trudi's Aunty
Thank you so much for your kind and honest review. Sue is part of our family, and it's truly our pleasure to care for her. We're grateful that you've trusted our home to provide her care.
We look forward to continuing our relationship as family. You and your loved ones are always welcome to visit and join any of our events at the home.
Warm regards
A wonderful, caring Home. Staff are always friendly, patient, encouraging, respectful and professional, they really do go above and beyond. Mum went into Silvanna for respite care and then decided to stay.
I will never forget their kindness towards mum and myself.
Thank you to every member of staff.
Thank you for your honest opinion. It has been our pleasure and honour to care for Mum until the end-she will be truly missed. We will continue our relationship as family, and please feel free to visit us or join any gatherings or celebrations we hold at home.
My dad has Alzheimer's and vascular dementia he's been in Silvanna Court for 15 months now and the care he has received has been amazing. Recently my dad has been really ill and not only have the staff been so kind and caring to him, They've also provided support to me and my sister The manager and assistant manager are visible constantly, the senior nursing staff go above and beyond as do the carers who have been amazing and so attentive. Everybody that works at Silvanna Court and at Rumwood homes are really professional, the care they provide is brilliant. I cannot recommend the home highly enough. Thank you for everything you do for my dad.
Sadly my mum passed away the 2nd of June she was treated like a queen the care she received for her final days was beyond words. The care nobody could have done more staff was coming in and I know my mum was loved
A tour of the Care Home, after a detailed briefing, was very impressive. Whilst on the tour a number of staff in passing always greeted and the environment was conducive to being very relaxed and homely - not run as a business. My Aunt's stay was thoroughly enjoyable having meals served fresh and tasty akin to a 5-star restaurant.
The Carers were exactly as their title caring, respectful and attentive. She could have not asked for anything better. She has been home now for the past two weeks and misses the company/friendship of some residents and the staff at Silvanna Court. Thank you to the Manager, staff and Carers of Silvanna Court for making my Aunt's stay comfortable and happy.
Thankyou so much for this feedback so lovely to hear you had a good experience I will pass your lovely feedback over to the team
The staff are kind, caring, patient and do a great job of looking after my father. They are quick to spot medical issues, which are then quickly dealt with. My father says he likes the food at the home, and he is settled and happy there.
Thank you So much for this feedback, I will pass your kind comments back to the staff on duty.
She has spent 5 and a half years in there.
She was always happy and when asked if she was ok would say 'What's not to like'.
She was always happy with the food and said that the staff were all lovely and friendly. Unfortunately, she developed dementia over the last couple of years but remained happy.
There were always activities involving the residents. This also included trips out in the minibus, usually including lunch.
The staff were always friendly towards me and any problems were quickly addressed.
The care they showed her over the last week of her life was greatly appreciated.
I would not hesitate in recommending Silvanna Court to anyone looking to place their loved ones.
I visited one of the residents of Silvanna Court (for the fourth time in recent months) yesterday. Two other friends accompanied me, one of whom the resident has known for more than 70 years. As always we were welcomed. Tea and biscuits were bought for us and a little later we all sat in the reception lounge where we took some photos of us all. Other staff also came to chat making for a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is a genuine caring feel to the home, making it feel like 'home' rather than a business.
Silvanna's staff really go the extra mile to make this a family-orientated home. They encourage lasting friendships between residents and treat the residents with dignity and care. The activities are very well thought through, encouraging inclusivity for all. Thank you to the manager and superb staff at Silvanna, you are all wonderful!
Thank you for your kind words, it's our pleasure to look after your dad. I will pass on your message to all the staff.
Very happy staff who are great. Always taking great care of Dad.
Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated and I will be sure to inform the staff of this review.
The staff and management are absolutely amazing. I receive regular updates either by phone or in person on how Mum is doing or for any concerns that may have occurred. It gives Mum and the family peace of mind that she really is being cared for and all her needs met without delay.
The daily activities are brilliant, there is always something for everyone to enjoy, the staff and the management all get involved and really know each and every resident. There are regular trips out and walks in the nearby park.
The food menu is good with daily choices and each occasion is marked by wonderful decorations throughout the home.
I can't praise the staff and management enough. I feel blessed to have found such a friendly and caring home for my mum.
Thank you so much for this feedback, it's such a pleasure to take care of mum and we are thrilled you are happy with the service we provide.
The enthusiasm and general positivity of staff at this welcoming care home are fantastic as is the level of care they provide for residents. As a family, we have also felt cared for and supported through the experience of our relative moving in and of her changing needs being identified and met. Families are kept well informed and invited to become involved in some of the amazing range of activities in which residents can take part.
Thank you so much for this feedback and your lovely comment.
Socialising with staff and residents. Staff make me feel happy and encourage me to join in activities. I am happy with the meals. My relatives are also encouraged to join in with residents.
Thankyou for your feedback I will inform the staff of your feedback.
Dad seems very happy and benefits from the variety of activities provided. The staff always seem pleasant and approachable. I always feel welcome to visit my dad at any time, this was important to me and our family as we like to visit daily when possible. I hope my dad continues to be happy here. Thank you.
Thankyou for your feedback. I will let the staff know your feedback.
We have found the staff and managers to be friendly and caring. Mum's health and medication are informed by telephone and any concerns are discussed.
Extremely satisfied with the home.
Thank you so much for your review, I will pass on your kind words to our staff. It is our pleasure to care for Mum.
Silvanna Court is a care home of exceptional quality. 'Issues' with my mother-in-law are always developing but they are 'on it'! They have robust systems to ensure she is well cared for in every way. High-quality carers are backed up by excellent supervisors and management. But beyond that, the home is brimming with caring enthusiasm that delivers endless opportunities for stimulating activities. Employees must go home exhausted!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate your review and support. I will pass on these wonderful comments to all the staff

Hello! My name is Leanne, and I’ve been proudly serving as the Administrator at Silvanna Court for 16 years. Working here is more than just a job—it’s an honour. I genuinely love our residents, and the opportunity to make a positive difference in their daily lives is the most rewarding aspect of what I do.
My journey with Runwood Homes began when I was just 16 years old, and over the years, I’ve grown personally and professionally within this incredible company. One of my proudest achievements is becoming a mum, which has enriched my life in so many ways.
Outside of work, I’m a passionate Lego collector and builder, enjoying the creativity and focus it brings. I also love cooking up delicious meals and playing football, which keeps me active and energized. Life is about finding joy in every moment, and I strive to bring that same energy and positivity to my role at Silvanna Court every day.

With 17 years of dedicated service, I take great pride in my role as a Lifestyle Coordinator. Every day brings the joy of seeing our residents happy, smiling, and truly enjoying life. It’s a privilege to create moments that brighten their days and enhance their well-being.
Outside of work, my greatest achievements are personal: being a proud mum and fulfilling the dream of owning my own home. I lead an active and adventurous life, with the unique skills of water skiing, and driving cars, motorbikes, and even speedboats.
In my free time, I love walking with my dog, spending cherished moments with friends, and enjoying holidays that rejuvenate the soul. Life is all about balance, and I embrace every aspect of it with enthusiasm and gratitude.

Hi, I’m Sandra, and I’ve been a proud carer at Silvanna Court for the past 4 years. Caring for people is my passion, and I find immense joy in making a positive impact on the lives of our residents every day.
Outside of work, I love travelling and going on holiday, exploring new places, and creating cherished memories. Spending time with my family and my beloved dog is a big part of my life, and it brings me so much happiness.
Being part of the Silvanna Court team is truly fulfilling, and I’m grateful to be able to do what I love every day.
