Having Dad resident at Silvanna Court has lifted a huge weight off our families shoulders. The facilities and staff are perfect for caring for those loved ones that need support later in life, friendly, professional, loving and caring to make Dad so happy and safe. Having long term management and staff in place reassured me that relationships with the families and residents is a key component of them delivering excellence.

My mother moved into Silvanna Court last year. Since moving in I cannot fault the level of care she has received. The staff take a personal interest in her wellbeing and care, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always friendly and approachable. Activities, events and trips are well organised by a team dedicated to this area.

We have regular reviews with Care Team Managers and it is apparent from these reviews that every aspect of mums health is constantly monitored. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Care Home.

The home is bright and cheerful. Staff always willing to talk to visitors and listen to any worries. Rooms kept fresh and clean. Small lounge diner areas make it feel like a home from home. My mother has been looked after extremely well. The activity coordinators are the best I have seen. I visit and worked in care homes. Residents have outings, shows once a month and different weekly activities,

Mum has been in Silvanna Court for 2 years, during which time her dementia has sometimes made her difficult to deal with, especially she has refused personal care from the staff, and I have had to give her a bath. I have been happy to do this and have been supported by the staff whenever I have needed help. Mum is as settled as she can be and definitely shows that she likes the staff as they can make her smile and laugh.
I am happy with the care that Mum receives and the activities that she is able to take part in, Mum has never been one for company but seems to join in if encouraged to do so; she eats well and enjoys her food.

The staff and management are always friendly and accessible, they keep me up to date with how Mum has been between my visits and there are regular meetings where any issues can be discussed.

Our mother has been cared for at Silvanna Court for about eighteen months - in that time we, as a family, have been very happy with her care. The staff are very obliging, friendly and caring. The management team are very approachable and if we ever have a query or little problem, it is always dealt with speedily and efficiently. They have regular organised events to improve our mum's quality of life. She always looks clean and well cared for. Overall we are very happy with everything at Silvanna Court, having looked at other care homes before deciding. We feel we made a good decision in choosing Silvanna Court and would happily recommend this Care home.

My mother was only a resident for a year and a half. My mother's health improved and her walking. Every carer was kind, caring and always helpful. I never once heard a raised voice in anger, always helping and with a smile for the residents. The home is spotless and my mother loved the meals.

My mother was very happy and I thank every member of staff for making her last years happy, safe and comfortable. As a family, this gave us peace of mind.

My husband has been a resident in Silvanna Court for 20 months. During this period I have visited daily, except for brief days away. I find the carers very attentive to my husband's needs and treat him in a respectful manner. I am impressed by the immediate action if a doctor or paramedic is needed which is particularly important to me as my husband cannot verbalise his distress. I am confident my husband has his physical needs met and is as comfortable as possible, sitting all day, as his mobility has decreased. I appreciate sharing meals, at times.

The management are very approachable. The activity girls are exceptional, they work very hard to provide varied activities and trips out. I have recommended this care home to several people.
