Silvanna Court provides a calm and friendly atmosphere, with activities designed to stimulate, amuse and entertain all of those who are cared for. Refurbished in 2023, the home provides expert care along with great facilities for older people, including those living with dementia. The home's amenities and homely décor ensure that residents have a comfortable and welcoming environment in which to live.

In addition to the secure courtyard where residents can sit and chat and enjoy the summer with pleasant potted plants and hanging baskets, there is also a new innovation. This year there is a mini allotment for residents to grow their own produce, a welcome addition for residents to become involved in and then to enjoy the ultimate in home grown vegetables.

Silvanna Court hosts the Wickford area Alzheimer’s Society support group, which is designed to help local relatives, friends and carers of people with any form of dementia.

The support group is open to anyone who needs support, advice or information on dementia related matters, be they emotional, medical, and financial or just need of a sympathetic ear.

About Silvanna Court. I think the home is very well organised it is very clean and tidy excellent facilities. All residents here are really well cared for. They all seem really happy. They always look clean and groomed. Management at the home are excellent. They keep you informed to any problems to
the care and wellbeing of your family member that is a resident at the home. I would recommend this home.

Have been here now one year and have to be honest, it took a while to settle in but thanks to the staff I really feel settled and comfortable. They are very attentive and most go out of their way to make me feel happy.

My mother moved into Silvanna Court last year. Since moving in I cannot fault the level of care she has received. The staff take a personal interest in her wellbeing and care, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always friendly and approachable. Activities, events and trips are well organised
by a team dedicated to this area.
We have regular reviews with Care Team Managers and it is apparent from these reviews that every aspect of mums health is constantly monitored. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Care Home.

The home is bright and cheerful. Staff always willing to talk to visitors and listen to any worries. Rooms kept fresh and clean. Small lounge diner areas make it feel like a home from home. Mum has been in Silvanna Court for 2 years, during which time her dementia has sometimes made her difficult to deal with, especially she has refused personal care from the staff, and I have had to give her a bath. I have been happy to do this and have been supported by the staff whenever I have needed
help. Mum is as settled as she can be and definitely shows that she likes the staff as they can make her smile and laugh.
I am happy with the care that Mum receives and the activities that she is able to take part in, Mum has never been one for company but seems to join in if encouraged to do so; she eats well and enjoys her food.
The staff and management are always friendly and accessible, they keep me up to date with how Mum has been between my visits and there are regular meetings where any issues can be discussed.

Our mother has been cared for at Silvanna Court for about eighteen months - in that time we, as a family, have been very happy with her care. The staff are very obliging, friendly and caring. The management team are very approachable and if we ever have a query or little problem, it is always dealt
with speedily and efficiently. They have regular organised events to improve our mum's quality of life. She always looks clean and well cared for. Overall we are very happy with everything at Silvanna Court, having looked at other care homes before deciding. We feel we made a good decision in choosing Silvanna Court and would happily recommend this Care home.

My mother was only a resident for a year and a half. My mother's health improved and her walking. Every carer was kind, caring and always helpful. I never once heard a raised voice in anger, always helping and with a smile for the residents. The home is spotless and my mother loved the meals.
My mother
was very happy and I thank every member of staff for making her last years happy, safe and comfortable. As a family, this gave us peace of mind.

My husband has been a resident in Silvanna Court for 20 months. During this period I have visited daily, except for brief days away. I find the carers very attentive to my husband's needs and treat him in a respectful manner. I am impressed by the immediate action if a doctor or paramedic is needed
which is particularly important to me as my husband cannot verbalise his distress. I am confident my husband has his physical needs met and is as comfortable as possible, sitting all day, as his mobility has decreased. I appreciate sharing meals, at times.

My relative has been at Silvanna Court for three and a half years and as a family, we could not have found anywhere better for her. The staff are very caring and supportive. The management are very approachable. The activity girls are exceptional, they work very hard to provide varied activities and

My mother resided in Silvanna Court for seven months during this time, after initial reluctance to go into a care home, she settled in and had a lovely relationship with all the staff as did all our family. They were professional, respectful, caring and affectionate giving all the time needed or just
wanted. Never demonstrated they were time limited which I am sure at times they were, wonderful, outstanding home.
