I have left some boxes unticked as mum only been there 3 weeks and it's during Covid, so don't feel I can fully answer. On the whole, very pleased. The care/nursing staff have been exceptional - kind/caring and so helpful as we did have a lot of problems with mum settling. They went above and beyond. The only reason I have only put satisfactory for management is because I feel I can't fully answer due to the odd circumstances. I just feel that communication, especially at this time, with family, could be better but it is a difficult time for everyone and we do understand this.

My feeling going forward is really good - I feel mum's now safe. Thank you. Your maintenance staff have been so helpful too.

Very caring, compassionate under very difficult circumstances.
Mum is taking time to settle in but the staff seem very pleasant.

As yet we haven't seen her room or inside but mum has not complained.

We are very happy with the care our mum is receiving. She is very happy and settled. The staff are all very caring and take great lengths to ensure they meet her particular needs. He main carer is absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble for her. We are happy with the care mum is receiving sofar in the 4 weeks she has been here. We are very much looking forward to be able to see inside once restrictions are lifted.

Nan has been very well looked after, especially when she's been under the weather. The carers are very respectful and are always bright and bubbly. Nan is thriving at the home and loves her bathtime, which is something she hasn't been able to do in years.

One thing we find a little frustrating is getting through sometimes and sometimes the lack of information.

My mother was a resident at Silvanna for five years and her care was exceptional. As a family, we were very hands-on and the home respected this. From her first hard days settling in till her last days, we felt part of a community. The staff are caring, considerate and kept us informed of mum’s good days, bad days and any signs of ill health. They provided day trips, regular entertainment and parties, activities and resident and relatives meetings. Mum could also have her hair and nails done if she so wished. If we had a concern or issue that something was not right, the staff were approachable and it was sorted. As mums illness progressed and her mobility became restricted, the staff ensured mum and the family were supported not just with care and attention but with a genuine affection for us and her. There was always a very good variety of meals and snacks on offer, hygiene and cleaning exceptional and the hands-on staff brilliant.

Would I recommend Silvanna Court, yes of course.

I'm writing this review from 2 perspectives. My father who has been a resident for nearly 3 years and mine.
My father loves the entertainment provided by the team. An entertainer is brought in regularly and many residents participate in the singing and dancing. He also enjoys being taken on day trips.
He always says the food is very good and plentiful. Recently the decor in the home has been upgraded and my dad can't stop commenting on the new pictures. A little touch like that makes him very happy.
The entertainment staff have also invested in more games and it's nice to see the residents thinking and participating.
From my point of view as a relative, I have always found the staff to be very attentive and helpful. If I need him prepared to go out he is ready in suitable attire. Coat hat, gloves, shoes, hearing aid, glasses and a walking stick.
I have found his living space clean and fresh to which I am very grateful.

The manager is very understanding and approachable.

I have no doubt that my mother-in-law is receiving and has consistently received an excellent level of care. Although my mother-in-law's health has declined of late you have all shown your enthusiasm for looking after her mental and physical well-being, for which the family are thankful.

My experience at Silvanna Court since 2012 when my sister entered the care home. I that time, she was unhappy to have to go into care and the staff worked hard to get her to feel at home with them. The staff and management have done a superb job looking after my sister and keeping in touch with at all times. Informing me of her wellbeing. They do a fantastic job caring for my sister. Although I think one more member of staff is required.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for the way the staff have looked after my mum. They are very kind and patient with her even though she can be very difficult and demanding at the best of times. The care home is beautifully decorated and very clean and the staff put a lot of effort into making activities that the residents can enjoy. I have great peace of mind knowing my mum is so well looked after so once again thank you all very much.

My Mum is a resident at Silvanna Court. She moved in last December under very difficult circumstances. She was very worried about the move. However, we have found the staff have really made this home from home for Mum. In particular, it was my mums birthday in October and I can honestly say the staff made it the best birthday, (Mums words,) that she has had in years! She was thoroughly spoilt with cards and presents from the amazing care team and was made to feel so very special. This was truly heartwarming to see and with absolutely no prompt from the family. We were also allowed to use the beautiful tea room over the weekend so extended family plus family dog, could visit. I really can say, they made her day!! Amazing!!!

My mum has been in Silvanna Court since June after having many falls. She was adamant she would never go into a home, however, after a few weeks to settle she genuinely loves being there. The staff are very friendly and caring, she loves the food and enjoys the company. My mum looks healthier now than she has for ages and it is so lovely for me knowing she is happy and safe. The manager and staff keep me well informed at all times of how my mum is. I would definitely recommend Silvanna Court.

My mum has advanced Dementia. As a result of many falls, it was no longer possible to support her living at home safely. I was very worried about placing mum into residential care, but it didn't take long to see how hard the staff worked to care for the residents; they really care, providing the best service they possibly can. The set up is very inclusive, encouraging friends and relatives to come as often as they can, to use the facilities on offer, to attend events, which are very well organised. I have got to know the names of many who work at Silvanna Court, the challenges they face, and I have the utmost respect for what they do. My mum was very house proud, and her room always feels clean and fresh. Staff are very patient with the demands her dementia places on them. I visit her often, and though leaving is always difficult, it is not as difficult as before, and a whole weight has been lifted from my shoulders, knowing she is being looked after in the way that she is.

The staff are amazing and do a fantastic job which must be very challenging at times. We are always informed of any problems/illnesses and consulted on everything to do with her care and welfare.
The new management has done an amazing job on the refurbishment of the foyer, hallways, dining and lounge rooms which are now bright and cheerful for the residents.

Managers are very approachable with any questions we have. 10/10 for achievement and everything they do.

I would just like to say that my dad is on the ground floor. He was on the upper floor but since he has moved to the ground floor his care is better. I would like to mention a male carer who has been 'top draw' since my dad has been there. I would want him to look after me if I was in that situation.
