We continue to be very happy with the care Mum receives at St Mary's Court Care Home. There is always a happy atmosphere from reception through to caring staff.

We love going to 'The Bistro' with Mum as this feels like we're going to the coffee shop like we used to. There have been four great events since July on the grounds. The summer fete and seaside day were really good. So nice to see so many residents and their families enjoying it. The catering especially the fish and chips were superb.

St Mary's Court Care Home has Care with a capital 'C'.

An amazing team of people who work with love and compassion not only to the residents but their families also. My sister has been at St Mary's Court Care Home three and a half years. In that time she has enjoyed so many of the activities that provided a real home from home that St Mary's Court Care Home provides.

My aunt was admitted to St Mary's Court in May 2017 after her daughter and myself had visited several care homes. Our choice of St Mary's proved to be a good one. I cannot speak too highly of the home. It is set in lovely grounds where residents can walk and the home is spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and very caring and always ready to speak with relatives. My aunt loves the food and enjoys the many activities which that the home arranges including weekly bus outings. Residents' own rooms are lovely and have en-suite showers. All residents are very safe and both her daughter and myself are very happy with all aspects of her care.

From entering the building you are made to feel welcome. The unit Oak in which my aunt is superb in all ways. The staff are caring observant, helpful and always on hand to look after their charges. My aunt has settled well and looks 100% better than when she arrived. Everything she needs or wants is satisfactory.

My husband is safe and given a very high standard of care. Staff are kind to him and know him as a person not just as someone needing care, they see past his current problems to the man I know. His medication is always given on time which is essential to control his Parkinson's disease. He has a very nice room which is always kept clean, his laundry is always returned promptly. He enjoys meals at St Marys, served by staff who are friendly and know people's preferences, and there is always a carer to give help when needed. If he has not been able to eat at meal times alternatives have been found later, and we both enjoy visiting the bistro for coffee. The grounds are lovely and well cared for and our grandchildren are happy to visit and like to play with Grandad watching. The activity staff are brilliant and ensure people are able to join in. We have lived with Parkinson's for 11 years but this last year at St Mary's Court Care Home has been the easiest for us both and I am very grateful.

From the very first interview, I felt happy for my father's care. Time was taken to get to know his likes, his interests, where he worked and his family. On walking in St Mary's Court Care Home, all the staff say hello and are very friendly. It is spotlessly clean and no smell of 'wee' anywhere. My father is thriving under their peaceful, tender care. I am really happy we found this care home.

Totally professional from initial contact regarding emergency respite needed for my dad to his admission within one day. All staff are very friendly, welcoming and understanding showing my dad respect and dignity. The fragrant smell, as you enter the house, continues through the building and nothing is unpleasant about it.

My mum has been here just over a week. It was a massive decision to move her to a care home but she has settled in so well. The staff (all staff) from manager, carers, cleaners etc have been so kind. They have encouraged her to join in all the activities.

My wife has been in St Mary's Court Care Home for two months during which time the care has been excellent. All the staff at every level are totally dedicated. Having had a very severe stroke my wife needs complete nursing care. Every day when I visit her she is always being well cared for and there is always a really homely atmosphere in Cedar Unit whatever time of day I visit.

I have found St. Mary's to be excellent for my brother. He has much improved in his well being and personal hygiene, which concerned us. I have seen him slowly becoming more aware and interacting with us. The facilities are very good and rooms are spacious, yet retain a homely feel. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and lots of staff around who are always willing to help and chat about resident. There are lots of outings and in-house activities to keep residents active and stimulated.

Excellent care home, wonderful staff who look after my brother to the very best. The accommodation is excellent and always clean and inviting. We cannot thank the staff enough especially to the team on ASH. We feel my brother is settled at St Mary's and as it stands we wouldn't want him to be anywhere else.

My family and myself are very pleased with the care given to our father. All the carers are very good and easy to talk to and ask if we need anything when we visit. A good atmosphere is very noticeable too. The food is excellent and dad kept very clean with clean clothes. I would not hesitate to recommend St Mary's Court to my friends and family. Thank you for looking after him, so much better than where he was before.

My father was moved here for ‘end of life’ care whilst suffering from a brain tumour. Me and my mum would like to say a massive thank you to ALL the staff of St Mary’s as they made my dads final weeks as comfortable & dignified as possible for him and for us. You should all feel proud of yourselves for doing such great work, I cannot thank you enough.

My sister has been a resident of St Mary Court for almost three years and in all that time although her mental health has deteriorated, she has had the most wonderful care.

The home is warm and friendly, I have always been made to feel welcome and included in all decisions regarding to her care. The staff are fantastic the food is wonderful and plentiful, the activities are amazing and plentiful. We are encouraged to part-take in them, a true home from home and a real family atmopshere.
