My partner has been in Tye Green Lodge for 6 1/2 years. The care he has received has extended the 6 year prognosis for his condition. The environment is clean, light and airy. The food is home-cooked and excellent. The staff are excellent - kind, caring and friendly.

My dad receives excellent care at Tye Green. Every member of staff is kind and considerate. They take no risks when it comes to health and make sure my dad gets the right medical attention. He is very happy at Tye Green and enjoys everything from the food to the lovely garden. He gets five star treatment.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Tye Green Lodge Care Home since 2018 and, when my own mum needed full-time residential care in 2022, there was no way I would have had her go anywhere else but Tye Green Lodge. The care for both has been exemplary. Although both have dementia, they have very different needs to one another, and they are each treated as individuals, with the highest levels of dignity and respect. Many of the staff have been there the whole eight years that we've been visiting, and we are always made to feel welcome - no appointment needed, we just turn up when we want to. The home is always clean, with great food, lots of activities going on as well as trips out. They have even facilitated celebrations for 'big birthdays' when we've invited friends and family to join us. I cannot recommend Tye Green Lodge Care Home highly enough. Thank you to every staff member for all that you do.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for placing your trust in Tye Green Lodge Care Home for both your mother-in-law and your mum. It means a great deal to hear that their individual needs are recognised and that they are treated with dignity and respect. Your kind words about our...
My dad moved into Tye Green Lodge Care Home in March of this year. It was one of the most difficult decisions we as a family had to make but I can honestly say that, 5 months later, we now know it was one of the best decisions we could have made. I absolutely couldn't imagine there being anywhere better for dad to be. The Home itself really is so homely and like staying in a "posh hotel", as my dad and some of the other residents would say! Every single member of staff is so welcoming, kind, compassionate and friendly. They really take the time to get to know each resident and their care is truly person-centred. I really feel that they know dad as a person and understand and meet his care needs so well. The residents have a very full and varied activities programme, catering for all interests, and they really encourage and facilitate social interaction between the residents. The food is out of this world! From the bottom of my heart, I can't thank all of the staff at Tye Lodge enough.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. It means the world to us to hear how well your dad is getting on at Tye Green Lodge and I'm sure that the staff within the home will feel the same way. It's wonderful that their dedication and commitment to great care has been recognised and that you've taken the time to leave such a lovely review. Thank you!

My mother spent two happy years in Tye Green Lodge. The care was wonderful. Activities were provided, although as my mum became more frail, she could no longer take part. She loved the visits from animals. She loved her clean spacious room. Staff treated her as an individual at all times. I always felt welcome when I visited. The beautiful flower-filled garden, gave my mum much pleasure. Thank you!
Your review means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident and their families.
I was very pleased with my 2-week respite stay at Tye Green Lodge. I went into Tye Green Lodge after a 2-week stay in the hospital. This was my third stay in the hospital in the last month after many falls. When I arrived I was only able to use a walking frame but with the encouragement from the staff I was able to work out using 1 or 2 sticks. I would recommend Tye Green Lodge to anyone in need of a stay.
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us! Hearing that our care home has made a positive impact on you means the world to us.
My sister has settled in very well and is happy. I see her every week, she is always well-groomed and cared for.

My mother was a resident at Tye Green Lodge for almost 2 years. We found the staff approachable, kind and patient. The home was always very clean and well presented and the garden was lovely. There is a nice atmosphere there and my mother was well cared for.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in personalised care and attention to each resident.
My mother received excellent expert care and attention at all times during her nearly six-year time at Tye Greem Lodge. She sadly died at 101 years old.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback! Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care.
My mum has lived here for 3 years now and we have been so pleased with every aspect of the home all the staff are amazing. They listen and take time to talk to us. I can say I have nothing to say except praise for all they do for my mum. The cleanliness of the whole place is so exceptional. The food is lovely and such a choice. They take the residents out on trips and have plenty of entertainment. I will give them 100%.
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback! Hearing our care home has made a positive impact on your Mum means the world to us!
The staff are all brilliant, they work really hard and are so caring. The recent refurbishment at Tye Green is appreciated as all the areas look lovely and bright. The activities team keep the residents entertained and the coffee mornings are fun for families to attend. The carers are amazing and look after the residents with love and respect.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Providing exceptional care and support to our residents is our top priority.
There is always plenty of activities and something for the residents to look forward to, family is always welcome. Food looks amazing. Coffee mornings, quiz nights, so much going on. They have a lovely garden, well-maintained. A perfect choice, a really happy, uplifting home.
It warms our hearts to hear such positive feedback! We strive to create a supportive and enriching environment where our residents can thrive.
Care is very good. My wife is very happy here. Thank you very much.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident.
A few tweaks, perhaps more vegetables and a greater quantity and variety for the light meal. Bran bread to be available. Upstairs rooms become very hot in the summer months - air con. Perhaps more time could be spent talking to the residents who are usually in their rooms. Perhaps a little more understanding of some conditions. However, staff, everyone do a fantastic job with a limitation on staff numbers. All work very hard. The training seems good and marvellous that all residents intermit. More activities for men e.g darts.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident.

Meet the Team (3)

I enjoy cooking and interacting with the residents, it’s really good to be able to make food they like eating that also supports their well-being.

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their unique skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things, while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.

The best part of my job is that every day is different.
Getting to know the residents and hearing about their lives is lovely as well.
